I've been dealing with Newegg on behalf of a marketplace seller and both were terrible experiences and it's been months with no part or no money. I am about to dispute the charges but they keep telling me they're going to resolve it and after all these hoops I've jumped through including shipping back the wrong part at my own expense nothing. I'm out the cost of the part plus tax and shipping and the cost to ship it back to them just for a return because they sent me the wrong part to begin with. The marketplace seller is a complete scam which I read about after the fact. They only have a mailing address. No telephone number no website. Newegg makes you deal with them so after weeks of obviously nothing back and hours spent with customer service they gave me a return number with instructions on how to ship back. Followed instructions, the package should have got to newegg a week ago, I followed up and after more hours of waiting they'll because I don't have the tracking number I have to go get that for them so they can look into it further. These companies need to be held accountable because they know most people would just give up and lose out on their return cost but I will not let them off out of principle. I've used them before with no issues, it after this they are not worth the risk. Shop with amazon or really any other site that has a better reputation and better customer service. I still feel like I am being scammed. I ordered an expensive bracket, shady company sent me a rubber gasket now months later they're making out because the money I paid them is nowhere near the cost of the "mistake" they sent me and if they drag the out long enough they might still try to claim some other shady reason why they can't process the return, which I will dispute the credit charge because they charged my card for a product that they did not provide. I hope everyone else that has similar experiences goes to the same lengths to hold these companies accountable for poor service and shady business practices.

Good prices, fast shipping, good RMAs.

I do not like the ads all over the site, and sometimes a single order can have each item in its own box. (increasing the number of packing slips.)

Overall though, is good. I am glad it exists and I will go back to them for electronic needs.

I am very upset with NEWEGG and the seller ATGSM. I bought a factory unlocked Samsung Galaxy S5 last February 25, 2015 and it completely shut down and stopped working the first week in February 2016, it was under a year of use. I called and emailed numerous times to find out the origin of the phone so that Samsung could fix or replace the phone, however ATGSM still has not contacted me back. After numerous phone calls and finally getting a Customer Help desk number, Newegg only referred me to contact ATGSM with this issue. I have since sent this email to Newegg, requesting help with this matter, on March 7, and still no response from either company:
Hi - I just created my Newegg account and I checked under messages, but there aren't any from the seller. Could you please follow up with them and have them answer me back with the origin of my phone? Also I feel that THEY should contact SAMSUNG and straighten this issue out for me. I am going through a hardship right now and this has been a huge inconvenience for me. The seller should find out the origin of the phone as well as get Samsung from whatever country it was made in to either fix the phone or send me a new one, since I was sold a faulty device. I feel as if I wasn't treated seriously in this matter. When I sent them an email back asking for the origin of my phone, they did not respond. When I called them, the lady's response was that I should "expect that from technology" and that there's nothing they could do for me. I am very surprised that a seller on your reputable website would wash their hands of a customer's issue so easily.I understand that the warranty under Newegg is 30 days, however, this is not a warranty issue - nothing happened to my phone, I didn't drop the phone or break it - it is a mechanical issue because my phone just stopped working after not even one full year of use. I would really appreciate if you would rectify this matter for me. I have not had a phone since the beginning of February.
Thank you,

I currently STILL do not have my phone functioning and cannot afford to invest in another one. I wish I never bought this phone from ATGSM and will never use NEWEGG again.

I bought a Refurbished: ASUS ROG G751 Series G751JT-CH71 Gaming Laptop. The first one they sent to me is defective and it took them almost two weeks to finish process and send out an replacement. But when I got the second one, they didn't have the charger for the laptop. How am I going to use a laptop without a laptop. If you going to take that long to process something, better do it right and make sure your customer get replacement right. Then when I called Customer Service, they said they can't do anything beside contact the replacement department for them to take a look for 3 -5 days then they will decide to send me the charger. I ask why can't you just send out an charger for me. They said it is over $100 so they can't. Why can't you send a $100 out when customer just bought a $1300 laptop from you? This bad of experience never happen to me before when I order from newegg.com. But now their services and products goes way down hill. I think this will be my last time doing business with newegg.
Overall, slow process and bad customer services. Product just as bad as their services and treat customer like crap even when I have Premier Account.

Thank you Newegg
I'll never come back to shop with you.

After the online chat "gamer" told me he was too busy to help me he closed the session while I was typing. Online customer complaints has a 10 hour wait time and phone complaints have a 20 min. wait time. They were rude and I would never even look at their products again.

Buyer beware !!! Ordered 2 phones and 2 headphones. Reciever box on porch 3 days later. There was no signs of any tampering. Box was extremely light. Thought maybe they sent one or the other. Opened box only thing that was in box was two boxes phones came in with accessories but NO phones or headphones. Called them immediately. They apologized and said sorry. Told me they would send them back out to me in couple of days. Then I get an email two days later saying claim denied. Said shipping weight was correct on their box. ( btw fed x does not verify what weight was. I called them. ) so I called back. They told me I if I wanted to get my products I needed to fill out a claim number with fed x and file a police report and and send it to them. Then 2 days later they said I needed to send them a copy of report. I did to new egg and associate I was working with. Then they said they could not open it so I sent it again and stayed on line til they verified they got it. Then I called them back 2 days later to find out what was going on because I needed it before Xmas. They said they did not know yet and after more persaverance I found out they were still denying my claim due to somebody at their place p( probably person who took the stuff ) saying weight was correct. They then told me decision was never going to be overturned and they just did it because they want to appease their customers. I have wasted over 40 hours of time dealing with these people. 16 phone calls wait time always over 45 minutes most over an hour. And three dropped calls. Also all the e mails back and fourth plus fed x and police. I have all documentation on everything and plan to pursue this farther .This company is a bunch of liars and thieves which took 700.00 dollars from me and cares nothing about their customers maybe I deserve it I have heard so many bad things about this company and I did not listen. I hope if you are reading this you do not make the same mistake I did.

Great service, always delivers to me in a timely manner and have never had anything broken on arrival. Only problem I have ever had is when another company sells something through Newegg.

This company will be a continued source of my shopping needs. They are always willing to help out with your order and questions. Just recently something had gone wrong with my order. All I needed to do was call them and, without hesitation, they fixed the issue perfectly. Great customer service and great deals too!

I'm kicking myself for not reviewing Newegg before spending $430 which is now a total loss for me. I bought a laptop from them. It started up fine so I threw the box away. Two days after very little use, my laptop has a glitch-it randomly flashes black and randomly changes windows. I called Newegg to get it replaced-they told me since I threw away the box, they can't help me at all because it's a total loss for them to take the computer back. So instead, I, the customer, have to take the loss. After spending $430 on a laptop and receiving defective merchandise, they can't do anything for me because I threw away the cardboard box? That's so wrong! Also, I tried to post a bad review directly on Newegg's site, but if you read the review section, Newegg clearly states that they read all reviews before posting them on their website and they reserve the right to deny any reviews containing "Criticism of Newegg.com's service or the service of our operations partners.". That was copied and pasted straight from their site. So the reviews that you are reading for the products are basically only the good reviews people post, because if you criticize Newegg's terrible customer service, they don't even post those bad reviews. That's so dishonest. I contacted the seller (ASUS) and they were just as bad as Newegg. After two phone calls and two hours on the phone, I was told the laptop only came with a service warranty so they won't refund, exchange, or replace it. If I want to have it serviced, I have to ship it to the service center in California (I live in Florida), and they would email me instructions for this process. I never got the email. I still have to call them back AGAIN! And, by the way, this was their solution after the service rep blamed me for the glitch, saying I must have done something to the computer. I can't believe this is what I went through after spending hundreds of dollars. This is just wrong. Please don't buy from them. If you have any issues come up, MARK MY WORDS, you will regret buying from Newegg.

Anybody that doesn't like using newegg doesn't have a lick of sense.

I have ordered more products off of newegg than most people order off of anywhere, ever. I have only ever had one problem with newegg and that was when they sent me a doa (dead on arrival) which was a manufacturer defect and even then they took back the product and refunded my money. No Revdex.com required. I have ordered products, never paid extra for shipping and I have always received my product intact.

Sometimes, If they have extra room on the ups truck, they express deliver for free so that I get the product within 3 days. (if it is in the middle of the week)

It takes a while to load their website on slower computers. Borrow one and order the parts to make another so you never have to worry about where to order computer parts.

I purchased a computer from Newegg Feb 15th 2015.
2 weeks later it arrived and did not work. I contacted Newegg and asked for a replacement.
Almost 2 weeks after that I received the replacement, which also didn't work.
I contacted Newegg again and asked for a refund.
The same night I was called by a Newegg representative and after a lengthy conversation was told that if I changed my refund to a return they could ship me a working computer within 2 days. I agreed to this and shipped the computer back.
Today I received an email from Newegg saying that they received my return ad were processing it for a refund.
I called them yet again to explain that that should have been changed to a replacement.
I was then told that they have no record of the person that called me. That they did not work for Newegg. That someone just randomly got my phone number and all of the information about my order apparently.
I was further told that if they send me a replacement and if that one does not work then I will lose my money and be stuck with a defective computer. I was told that Newegg was doing me a favor by replacing the defective products I received and that they are under no obligation to guarantee me a working computer when I ordered one.
I am now awaiting a refund.

This has been the worst shopping experience of my life. The time and stress this has taken is ridiculous.

And to be told that they are doing me a favor and that they don't have to replace a defective product is beyond insane to me.

I will never shop at Newegg ever again and I will tell as many people as I can to steer clear of them and their awful products and customer service.

I used Newegg alot about 10 years ago, and have started using them again since I returned to the states recently. Their customer service and integrity has nose dived. They are worse than Amazon now.

I ordered a heatsink and fan, and it took well over a week to be delivered. I made another order from someone in China and it came before a shipment from Newegg, figure that one out. The heatsink box was already opened, but it was not used. Clearly I don't want to wait another two weeks for a heatsink so I just wen ahead and used it.

Fast forward to this week. I ordered a graphics card, and selected 3 day shipping. No where did it state that they don't ship on weekends. I checked the delivery on Fedex.com and it said expected delivery next week on Tuesday. (Fedex doesn't ship here on Monday). That's odd, I've never had a Fedex 3 day package shipped on Wed. not delivered on Friday or Saturday... Check the package details... "weekday delivery only"....

Wait about an hour on Newegg for customer service. Yup, their 3 day shipping service contract with Fedex does not include weekend delivery. This was not stated when I selected 3 day shipping. It just stated "3 day express", nothing about weekends not included.

They did refund the shipping cost, but I think I'll pass on doing business with them in the future. Not only because of their sending me an open box, and cheaping out on shipping, but also because now they shove spam down your throat, try to get you to sign up for credit cards, and push 3rd party warranty services down your throat.

Just go with someone else or at least A website, at least you know their 2 day shipping is real and customer service is much better.

Newegg sent me a used and damaged cpu cooler unit when I ordered it new in order [redacted]. The customer service rep that I was writing to via Facebook name Darlene said "it came that way from the manufacturer". That is a complete BS when Newegg is also a company that builds and sells custom built personal computers. They couldn't admit that they sent me a used and damaged cpu cooler unit that's been restocked as new. The cpu cooler unit arrived without the cpu cover on the contact surface. It also had a dent on one of the heat pipes and the thermal paste tube had a 4mm spot of the thermal paste on the cap. In conclusion, they sold me a used and damage unit. When I go to report it and request a return, they demanded that I should pay for the shipping cost back to them and the restocking fee because a used and damage product can be restocked for resell, I guess.

Go to Youtube and search for "Newegg screwed me" or "Newegg fraud" and you'll get plenty of former buyers retelling their RMA horror stories.

I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemies.

Attempted to purchase a new desktop, monitor and webcam from Newegg.
Reviewed my purchase later into the evening and noticed that the desktop / monitor were separate orders and were put on hold. The webcam went through fine.
Spent a couple hours waiting that night for someone to get free with Newegg customer chat - finally got someone, who wasn't able to help me at all. Seemed to ignore everything really. Even - not once - but twice was typing and asking questions that wasn't related to my issue. This was followed by, "Sorry, wrong window." both times.

Called the credit card company this morning, asked about this bar on my purchase. Things were resolved and I'm all happy to finish my sale. The only problem is they mentioned something about a $90 purchase along with the webcam dollar amount. That's where things started to get confusing.

Visited the Newegg site, looked at my order history, and saw the desktop and monitor were one order, the webcam a second order, and the 'free' bundle a third order marked at $90.
Now I'd think most people would cancel that quickly to avoid having the $90 on their credit card which would be more hassle then not to have reversed over time, so I did cancel it quickly just in case. Turns out doing so cancelled the entire thing to the point where when I attempted to re-add the order from the Dashboard, put it back up to full price again, a difference of $400.
Called Newegg, talked to a guy who seemed to want to help, but in the end, all they did was give me $100 in points to save money AFTER taxes - still a difference of $300. Seems that cancelling the order screwed things up and because it was a sale for yesterday, they can't do anything about it because it's a digital thing.

The very poor website design on the order menu was incredibly confusing. I had no way of understanding if the $90 was going to vanish if I was going to place the order for the monitor / CPU because there's no actual documentation that said such a thing would happen. If they had grouped them together, and had something that mentioned this, then I'd have just bought the system and monitor and been happy. All I wanted was the original sale price that I wanted to purchase it at, how one day difference was going to do anything blows my mind.

I purchased a GS73VR laptop which costs about 2600 after taxes, after everything it took 2 MONTHS and 2 days to receive a functioning laptop. The first time I received it, it was defective in which the hinges just broke off suddenly, they agreed to exchange it HOWEVER. The second time they replaced it it was AGAIN defective, this time the hard drive was not installed properly.

here is where it gets messy, I called newegg and the manufacterer of the laptop to verify it was a hardware issue and that it was indeed a faulty product, both the customer care and the manufacturer agreed. BUT when I sent it in to the rma department who handles returns they said nothing was wrong with it after doing a factory reset which I had explicitly stated to newegg did not solve the problem as the manufacterer had also stated. The customer care team did not tell this to the RMA department even after I was assured they would. I called newegg and asked what the problem was in which the customer care representative who called himself "Peter" was extremely rude,

He cut me off multiple times, never apologized and kept denying his customer care team did anything faulty; which they did as I record the conversations and screenshotted our messages, after proving him he was wrong he ignores me and starts telling me that im disrespectful for insisting that he is wrong, time and time again he did not apologize and said that its not their fault and would not compensate at all.

Heres the funny thing about that, after the second time I returned the laptop, they said they would happily compensate me 30 dollars. However after talking to Peter who said he read all the chat logs and knows everything said he CANNOT compensate that was until I screenshotted him my message in which he said he could, therefore he pretty much lied to me and after I sent him that he again accused me of being disrespectful. I will never be buying from newegg again, they have very shady practices and I regret taking my friends account into dealing with them. No customer should ever be treated like I was; pretty much a villain, im sorry I kept calling but for 2600 dollars I would expect a functioning laptop and decent ce that dosnt call me names and cut me off when I talk.

Received DOA 48 Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch. Shipped back to the place I received the package from (Place said they never got it after I provided a delivery confirmation). Long story short after calling Newegg they said there is nothing they can do. I got screwed for $600. I have ordered from Newegg for over 10 years and will never again use them.

Purchased a 900 dollars worth PC parts.
one part was not defective however it had a recent lawsuit settlement against it due to its miss advertisement. When I got in touch with customer service I requested that I dont want this sub-par product, newegg customer hid behind the 30 days return policy, while I purchased it a little over 35 days ago and had all my original packaging. Then after I stood up to them they wanted to charge me 30 dollars for a restocking fee, while its not my fault that the product they sold me was not what it was... all I got was a smart mouse talking through the phone and giving a bunch of lies. Will never shop there again or refer anyone there... this is [redacted]!

awful customer service. Won't care about losing packing. Bullock promise.
