New South Windows did a great install with all of the windows in our house. The product is amazing and the personal service provided through the process had been excellent. I will / would highly recommend this company to others.

Larry M.

I would highly recommend New South Window Solutions for anyone thinking of replacing their home windows or doors. The salesman was very informative and very relaxing to be around.
The installers were outstanding as well, very friendly and kept us informed of any issues that our older wooden house had. They worked in 105 degree heat non stop and were very neat, clean and punctual. The windows are very high quality and has changed our house for the better.
My wife and I also noticed a big difference in looks, noise reduction & A/C does not kick in as much during the day. In my past I have been a Quality Assurance Inspector on the Space Shuttle program which we are very picky. These windows and doors are of high quality along with all personnel that we came in contact with. Great company. Five Stars :)

Great job installing a lot of heavy windows in the Florida heat.... Showed up when promised and finished the job on schedule. The windows and sliding doors are quality products

We are very satisfied with New South. From the salesman to installation and calls, everyone was knowledgeable and polite. We love the windows and two sliders are so sturdy. They make the house look new again. The timeline we were given moved more quickly. We would recommend New South to anyone wishing to update or build.

The workers did a great job The windows are perfect. The salesman gave us many options and did not oversell. It is a joy to drive up and see the house. Only complaint is because of the virus we were delayed but they did keep us informed.

Ms., when words or terms like Great, Perfect and Joy are used it makes me smile and allows me to share with our Team at NewSouth Window. You were most understanding when we were a little tardy in manufacturing your products and for that I am most appreciative and thankful.
2020 has been a challenge yet we continue to grow our company and find terrific customers such as yourself.
Thank you for being my/our customer. Earl ***. President and Co-Founder.

I would highly recommend New South Window Solutions for anyone thinking of replacing their home windows.
Their installation team is very professional and do exceptional work as well as quick to respond to any questions you may have.
The completed product both inside and outside the home definitely enhances our homes beauty and curb appeal and definitely add to the value of our home.

We want to know when our window replacement order will be completed and scheduled for install.
We signed a contract for replacement windows on 12/21/19 (8 windows & a sliding glass door, all hurricane impact glass) that stated it would take 12-14 weeks to produce and install.

We called on 4/13 @ 8:55am, were told they'll check status and call back next day.

We called on 4/14 @ 3:30pm (they never called us) and were told a mgr would call us back. At 4:14pm office called us and said an Owner will call us next day (4/15/20).

We never rec'd a call so we emailed our sales person on 4/15 @ 5:29pm letting him know our challenges with getting any information. He responded 15 mins later letting us know he would check with the factory in the morning and have them call us with status.

We never rec'd an update, so we emailed again, finally a Sales Mgr called (was condescending and abrupt on the phone) on 4/16 @ 5:42pm, said we'd get an update on 4/17.

The Production Mgr called on 4/17 @ 10:05am, said our windows were in production now and they should be completed by the following week (by 4/24).

We didn't hear anything, called on 5/1 @ 9:20am for status and were told Sales Mgr would call by end of day with update.

Never rec'd call, called again on 5/4 @ 9:19am and were told by office the windows should be in this week.

We called again on 5/5 @ 11:57am to verify status and were told they have trucks delivering from the factory on Weds & Fri, they expected our windows to be on one of those trucks and they would call w/status update no later than Friday 5/8.

Never rec'd at call so we called on 5/8 @ 4:55pm and were told office will talk with President, Mr. N and they will still call us back this evening with status.

And here we are on 5/9, no status, no updates, and we're left to wonder/guess what's going on. We asked several times during conversations with Sales Mgr and Production Mgr if Covid19 has impacted their production (we understand this is huge right now and can impact/delay our order) and were told "we have a few challenges, but we're staying on schedule".

We did receive an email communication on 3/17 from President Earl R. Here's a recap from that email (copied direct from the email):
"We are continuing to manufacture our windows and doors, as well as install and service in the home, with the upmost precautions. We are watching for CDC and local government updates constantly and will continue to review our policies and procedures with the aim of strengthening our COVID-19 response to further align with updated public health advice and guidelines. Should anything change, we will continue to keep you informed"

We're reasonable people and understand all the challenges that are happening right now. But here we are on 5/9/20, with no more information/updates than when we started calling 4 weeks ago as to what's going on with our windows. We've been left frustrated, guessing and feel that we've been lied to and given the run around.

We would like an honest answer (good or bad) from someone in authority with the status of our order.

Desired Outcome

We want our new windows and door installed, inspected and completed before 6/1/2020.

NewSouth Window Solutions of Orlando Response • May 22, 2020

We appreciate our customers concerns and our latest conversation was today. It's never our desire to disappoint someone and have them feel we aren't doing everything we can to manufacture and install their windows within the time frame we quoted. We don't want to make excuses, and are deeply sorry this project has been delayed.

It has been challenging during the pandemic and our factory experiencing temporary changes while we adjust. We are very quickly getting teammates and factory workers in place, efficiencies stabilized and improved. We are committed to our customers, the best technology and products.

We will Strive to improve our communication, and are implementing our plan immediately. Im confident we will be able to get this project completed quickly and will be at our best communicating this.

Thank you.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
To start with, New South failed to answer my questions in their above response.

Each week for the past 4 weeks we have been told they have the needed piece of specialty glass for our last window and will be manufacturing that one window soon (8 of the 9 windows are complete). As of 6/5/2020 @ 5pm we don't have a scheduled install for any of our windows. New South has already missed the request to have this project completed no later than 6/1/2020.

The job is NOT completed and we are NOT satisfied! The installers were here for 3 days, Monday-Wednesday, 6/15-6/17. 2 of the windows were broken during install and 1 of the screens is damaged. We were told by mgmt on Thursday, 6/18, that it would be 5-7 weeks for replacement of the 2 broken windows and the screen.

NewSouth Window Solutions of Orlando Response • Jun 22, 2020

I had a nice conversation with Mr and Mrs. Its rare that a project like this doesn't go as well as we'd like. Its never acceptable for our customer to go through any delays or service during install of cracked glass. We are talking to the customer to resolve this issue to resolve to the best of my ability.

I care about every individual customer and we strive to exceed expectations. We will not make any excuses and will do our best to improve and train our team to improve.

The windows have been installed, we have come to a resolution with Mr. N at the local office and will now work with their service warranty dept on the broken/damaged windows and screens.

Outstanding product, installation and customer service. Orlando branch

Thank you LANDY his wife and Roman!!!

New South Window Solutions were contracted on 12 July 2019 to install a window and sliding patio doors. The installation is not complete.
New South Windows were contracted on 12 July 2019 to install a hooped bathroom window and sliding glass patio doors.
These products were installed the first week of November 2019 and failed Seminole County inspection. The day they were installed, they would not close and lock so they sent out their service manager to provide a temporary fix so that we could secure our home. At that time we were asked to provide the balance of payment in full. This we did.
They returned to our home the following day and determined that 3 of the 4 patio sliding doors and 1 of the 3 bathroom windows needed to be replaced because they were defective. They reordered these panels on November 15, 2019 along with some hardware and trim pieces. The installation left the doors with a considerable amount of play and a lot of damage to the exterior stucco (as pictured) the estimate to repair this damage is $500.
It is now 19 weeks after the order, we were told it would be 12. New South have advised us that they have not received the new components and are unable to provide us with any estimate as to when they will be available. Most times we contact them they fail to return our calls. If we do manage to get someone on the line, after several attempts, we are told that the New South factory in Tampa will not return their calls.
We feel, that the company are not acting in good faith, they have received full payment for these contracted components.

Desired Outcome

Request New South satisfactorily complete installation in the next 2 weeks or provide a complete refund so we can have another company complete the job.

NewSouth Window Solutions of Orlando Response • Apr 10, 2020

Thank you for being a customer of NewSouth Window. We deeply care about your project and our service manager and team are dedicated to getting this resolved. It is unfortunate that during the process there was some unexpected issues, and they are being addressed. I know we re-ordered product, have communicated this with you and will do everything possible to ensure we have this resolved quickly. I know we have one sash and a frame to reinstall. I apologize for the situation, and our goal is to come to a fair and reasonable resolution.

Customer Response • Apr 23, 2020

New South Had to order additional parts to complete the installation and promised a status of the material by April 13. The original installation was so bad they have to completely reinstall the sliding doors. Also one of the glass panels was defective so that too had to be reordered. As of the 23rd of April I have not received any communication from the company. I attempted to contact their service manager today but he was unavailable. So the status of the job has not changed.

NewSouth Window Solutions of Orlando Response • May 04, 2020

Our service manager has spoken with (Mr) to inform that we have placed a Rush order for the replacement parts. We did explain that as soon as we can get a ETA time frame from the Factory that we will contact him to update. Due to COVID-19, production has slightly decreased temporarily, but we are aware that we have some minor service parts on order, and will resolve As Soon as possible. We will monitor this until complete.

Outstanding company very pleased with experience start to finish would recommend highly

NewSouth Window Solutions of Orlando Response • Feb 14, 2020

Mr. D, thank you very much for this succinct and glowing review. I especially thank you for being my customer! Earl R, President and Co-Founder.

It is now been over 6 months in the process of getting new windows. One window still needs to be replaced and all the windows need to be inspected.
It has now been over 6 months into the process of getting new windows. When first installed one of the windows didn't have the tempered label required for inspection. We were told it would be reordered. We paid in full as required. When it came in it was the wrong window. It was reordered and we still have not seen the replacement window. The building permit is out of date now and will have to be renewed. Mean while my windows still have the stickers on them and the covers off. Looks real good for Christmas!

Desired Outcome

Please install the correct window and get them inspected. Just finish the Job!

NewSouth Window Solutions of Orlando Response • Dec 23, 2019

I'm glad our team spoke to you, Mr***, and the permit has been extended already. We communicated with our factory manager and the one sash needed for the bathroom window that needs to be tempered will be ready this week, and then we will call in the final inspection.

If you want the best windows, quality, appearance, functionality and customer service -chose NewSouth Windows. I had them do 7 of my 13 windows with double pane - low E windows. All the installers were efficient ,courteous, meticulous, professional, and were super hard workers. They cleaned up the area excellently before they left. Their work is superb and their customer service goes the extra mile to make customers happy. Their installation is tops - as my neighbor said who built homes watched how they removed siding to install securely and correctly.
I had several instances where I had them come back out -Example: I opened the window incorrectly (they came out promptly) and even a small scratch on a window - and they replaced the entire window. They are punctual and make your appointment right away. Their sales rep Michael L is honest, patient, friendly and NOT pushy.
I wanted to make sure their work was high quality before proceeding with the entire house. They are now ordering the rest of my windows as I write this. Fantastic company - Great Price and Windows! Well worth the investment, most advanced and finest product on the market.

The service we contracted for has not been completed even thought the company has received full payment and more than ample time to complete the job
On Sept 5, 2018, my husband and I purchased five (5) windows from New South Windows. The contract stated it would take 14-16 weeks to install and that no other contract, verbal or otherwise, is binding unless signed by both parties. This has been broken numerous times in multiple phone calls. It took 6 months (Feb.,over 24 weeks) before these 5 windowss were installed. The company made one of the windows incorrectly (I've never gotten a straight answer on what exactly was wrong. I was originally told by the installer it would take about two (2) weeks to get the new window. On Feb. 25, 2019 I called the company and was told by Randy that it would take another 4-5 weeks. On April 18, 2019 I spoke with Mirandi (sp) who simply said the "sash" isn't done and that she will keep me posted. On May 31,2019 I spoke with Justin who after being pressured by me simply lied and said the "sash" should arrive next week and I'll receive a call to set up the installation.Having not received a call by June 13,2019 I called again and spoke with Randy who claimed there was "a glass shortage" although my research after that didn't turn up anything that would indicate that was a true statement but was yet another stall tactic. On July 30 I called and spoke with Mirandi who gave an absurd excuse saying the window had come in but was made with non-tempered glass which is against code. She couldn't come up with an answer when I questioned why a company who is licensed to make windows and knows that they are to be made to a certain code would make something that was not in compliance and in violation of area codes. This was the most ridiculous lie I had heard to date. She lied again and stated the window should be here in about 2 weeks. I told her she most likely means another 6 months. On August 26,2019 I received a voicemail from Mirandi to "give me an update. I wasn't in the mood to be lied to again so I waited and returned her call on Aug 29, 2019 and spoke with Mirandi who simply stated the order isn't done. It's now my opinion that she really has no clue when or if they intend to ever complete this job. This company did a partial install and have been paid so they seem to have NO INCENTIVE to complete the job. In a few days it will be an entire year since we ordered five (5) windows. Thankfully it wasn't more. NOW there is a hurricane (Dorian) and I have no idea if this window will hold up to this storm. I am asking that this complaint be take seriously because I have been MORE THAN PATIENT. considering all the lies I have had to endure.

Desired Outcome

I want this faulty window replaced withing the next few weeks or a full refund for the window plus any damages if this defective window fails and leaks during this storm. I think an entire year, plus, is more than enough time to have completed this job if this were a reputable company.

NewSouth Window Solutions of Orlando Response • Sep 07, 2019

I am very sorry for any delay in replacing one bottom sash for your windows. There are not any defects in the installed windows, but one of the sashes should have been ordered tempered glass. We have manufactured this tempered sash now, and are ready to schedule the quick replacement for this and left our customer a message. It will take five minutes to replace the non tempered sash with a tempered sash. I am very sorry for any delay, and will certainly ensure this is done in a timely fashion. No one has mislead and given any false information, and manufacturing delays for tempered glass was an issue for a short period of time, and now corrected. All of our customers have a lifetime guarantee, and the industries best warranty. If we didn't handle your service as professionally as we needed to, I will certainly address with our team. We extremely value you as a customer!

Products were faulty and when installed the company broke some windows. Supposed to repair/replace but now ignoring us for 90 days because prepaid.
We contracted with New South Windows on March 28, 2019 to replace the windows in our house. We prepaid, as is their company mandate, the amount of $15,000.00. The windows were installed on May 20 and 21. It was supposed to be a one-day install that stretched into 3 days as one of the helpers quit, so I had to miss work to stay at home for the extra two days. During inspection after installation we discovered a defective screen, hardware on almost every window was damaged, and numerous other challenges. The installation was sloppy with caulk left everywhere, trim ripped off and every single window was missing a piece. The inspector committed to an immediate fix. 4 days after the installation, my 8 year old daughter was standing under a newly installed transom window in my living room when the window shattered, raining glass on her. I called New South, who could not send anyone out for three days. Once they arrived, they had to do a cover on the window until they could manufacture a new one. The new window was not installed until June 21st, at which time the installer was supposed to bring the new hardware for all of the windows, the new screen, and all of the missing pieces for each window, as well as repair the trim that had been torn off and clean all of the caulk that was oozing out of all of the frames. His work order showed absolutely none of those items, and he brought none. Upon installing the new transom window, the new one broke during installation and the installer determined that the frame had been installed crooked by the first installer, so the entire frame and window below needs to be ripped out and replaced. That day the installer showed us his work order with all of these items to be submitted to the office, and the word EXPEDITED was highlighted on it. That was now 8+ weeks ago and nobody from their office has contacted us. On Thursday August 15th we sent an email stating that phone calls were no longer acceptable and all communication must be in writing, and that we expected an update within 48 hours. Immediately after sending the email, the company left me a voicemail. We responded with another email asking to put in writing what they had to tell us. That was Thursday afternoon, August 15th and absolutely no communication from the company since. We have had a broken window in our home for MONTHS during hurricane season. This company took our money, gave us poor product, poor work and NO follow up customer service, and STILL has not completed the job. I not only want the work done NOW, but I want money back. I paid for quality product and service, and I have defective product and extremely sub-par service.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I want the company to replace the broken window, repair all of the items they promised to repair and install all of the missing parts that they promised to install, and I want it done within two weeks. I would like a refund of $2,500.00 for the hassle and inconvenience and total lack of customer service. We have had a broken window in our home DURING HURRICANE SEASON for months. It's unacceptable.

NewSouth Window Solutions of Orlando Response • Sep 07, 2019

We installed 13 windows and a French door for our customer. I appreciate the feedback and our intention is to always ensure our customers have a high quality window made for Florida and professionally installed. We pride ourselves on quality and communication. If we ever fall short in this area, I will certainly address it and improve. Our customers mean everything to us.

Our professional process is for a production manager to visit pre-install and review all work to be completed before the ordering process. With 13 windows and a French door, this would never be a one day install and our lead installer will take his time and not rush. Our crews have been with us for years and are extremely good at what they do.

Our thorough process is to communicate with every customer and follow up. We did this the day of install, and when service was ordered and a time frame. We also update during the service process, as I see from the notes multiple times and frequently by our staff.

The broken window is a rare occurrence and I see the customer called after hours on Memorial Weekend, and we were at their home the very first business day and followed up to communicate the order status immediately. The customer was not available that day and out of the house. This was her first availability. This was a specialty window shape, and was serviced and replaced.

We apologize for any service or inconvenience. It's never our intention to cause any undue stress or concerns. Its unfortunate service happens, but we will always honor our warranty items, communicate and door best to take care of in a timely fashion. I also see in our documents.

I will reach out to our customer, and do everything possible to ensure the only open service item, which is change door hinges color and screen service.

Customer Response • Sep 09, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The above response does not admit fault on behalf of the company for the first broken window, or the second broken window, or the failure of the company to complete the full scope of scheduled work either on the first attempt, the second attempt, or the third attempt. It does not address shortages in staffing for any of the installations and focuses solely on my lack of availability on one day to be home for the business to come out - not to replace the broken product - but to put tape on the product until it could be replaced. It is absolutely not my fault that the window broke after hours on Memorial Day weekend but the above response sure makes it sound like I'm responsible for it. The response also minimizes how many times the company has promised to complete the scope of work without actually doing so and also does not address the lack of communication from the business to us on any of the times after the initial installation and subsequent breakage of paid-for product that we had to wait for someone to come back out to our home. We only began receiving follow up phone calls and service once we reached out to you. The President of the Orlando branch of the business did call me on Saturday 9/7/19 to apologize, at which time I told him that his office had quoted me a seven-week timeframe for the remainder of the products outstanding to arrive in their office, and he assured me it would be more like two weeks. He said he would follow up with me on Wednesday of this week. No further conversations were had about compensation and again, the above response makes it sound like the customer is at fault for the many failings of this job and these products. I felt better after receiving the call from the business and now I'm infuriated yet again at this attack on my family and our role in this fiasco. I did not pay $15,000 in full for this kind of service and these types of products.

Customer Response • Sep 27, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I'm unwilling to accept telephone conversations from the company anymore. I want everything in writing and documented, as the company has failed to live up to any of their agreements. Timothy ***, who promised me a follow-up call four weeks ago and never called, sent me an email today asking me which day of next week, Tuesday or Wednesday, I could speak to him via telephone. Unfortunately, neither of those days work for me and I'm done making myself available for the schedule of this company. All communication will be documented from this point forward. I don't feel that this company's continued defective products and service warrant $15,000.00 of my money. I'd like $5,000 back. Everything from here on out will be in writing. "I never implied that the customer was at fault," he stated - just read his previous comments. The reason for documentation is to preserve inconsistent statements such as this. And no, my home was not safe during hurricane season. This company has failed us numerous times with no accountability and HAS YET to give us any recourse for all of their failings! During his call with me four weeks ago, Mr. stated "I'm willing to give gift cards to make this right." I did not address his statements at the time as I wanted to see what his follow up would be per this site, and he has shown that the customer is a profit and not a person to his company. No phone calls with conversations that cannot be documented, and no gift cards. Compensate my family and myself for the headache, danger and inconvenience you have caused us for almost 5 months, Mr.. You can make up your profit elsewhere.

NewSouth Window Solutions of Orlando Response • Sep 30, 2019

Its unfortunate that we had an incident where glass broke and it was a specialty shape window that took a little extra time. We have been apologetic and reasonable. We treat everyone fairly and always will honor our warranty. We will not be issuing a credit, but will do anything necessary to stand behind the product and our excellent warranty.

The installer survey that came back with this customer was a 5 star rating out of 5 stars and comments were" excellent install." Our service team addressed everything in a timely and professional manner. We have had thousands of customers, and installed windows throughout the state. Sometime accidents happen, and in manufacturing some delays, but we will always stand behind our product and warranty. Our satisfaction rating is extremely high, proving we care. We and I showed care here and sometimes we cannot always agree 100%

New South Windows delivered as promised. Excellent installation, excellent customer service and an outstanding product. No question, I would use New South Windows again.

From signing an agreement to have New South install my new windows, the New South employees worked with me meeting the requirements of my condo association for approval and did the building department permit process on my behalf. The installers were very professional even when they were confronted by a rude neighbor who trespassed by entering my condo unit uninvited. They moved quickly with skill to complete the installation and cleaned up completely. I would recommend New South Window Solutions to anyone that wants to have quality windows or sliding glass doors installed to replace outdated windows like my old windows from 1964. New South Windows Solutions has excellent service and a great product.

My entire experience with NewSouth Windows was above average. The salesman was upfront and honest. The appointments were were kept and on time. The installation crew was very friendly and professional. They did a great job. The quality of the windows is terrific. The office staff was always available for questions and relayed updates on the progress of my windows. They were three weeks ahead of my expected delivery date. I had a co worker recommend NewSouth Windows to me and I would highly recommend them also. I am so pleased with the whole process and my home looks and feels updated! Thank you so much to the entire staff.

From the office personnel, to the salesman, to Dan coming in to due the final measurements,
the install crew everything was laid out and explained thoroughly. The install crew was very efficient in their work of installing and clean up. The install crew had a terrible day to work with the heat, humidity, rain and the mud but the went on like it was a sunny day and completed the install in one day. I would also like to thank the factory workers for hard work and getting the windows a month early.Thank you New South Windows, nice to find a company that excels from beginning to the end.

I had New South install 18 windows and 2 impact doors to our home that are of great quality. Communication with the company employees was always very professional, from the sales, to measuring and exceptional service from the install team. These windows are made to order each any every opening in your home. I am very excited to recommend this company to others. Thank you to the New South team.

Very satisfied with our new windows. The installation crew were very professional and cleaned up completely. Brenda G Ocklawaha, FL
