Customer Service is lacking, there is not a live voice that will pick up a call It will give you the option to leave a message, however as it states in the message that you will receive a call back in one day it did not happen I tried sending two emails for the order to get an update, but did not get a response The items displayed look great on the website, but customer service is key when it comes to setting expectations for delivery or delays

I have purchased several items from this company without problem. The company was fine until I needed to contact customer service. I sent 5 emails and 5 calls (during business hours) and never nor still has anyone returned my call for a defective product.

After a month of emails and phone calls sent, never hearing anything back from them, I finally received my order but was missing half of it, despite the fact that the receipt I received stated my entire order had been delivered. I've sent multiple emails, no response. I've made multiple phone calls and left messages, no callbacks. I'm missing merchandise in the amount of around $60 and can't get anyone on the line. I am so not the type to complain about customer service, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

Not a good experience. Still waiting for a product I ordered August 4. Will advise my credit card company to revoke payment.

This company is the main reason why Amazon is so successful. Every time I order something online, and it is not through Amazon, I have a horrible experience with customer service. I ordered the Napa Wine Barrel Pet Bed and they charged my credit card the day I ordered on April 16th. Four days later, on April 20th, I received an email stating that due to the high demand of my item, it is on back order. I have since called twice, never got to speak to a person, left messages, with no call backs. Sent an email, no response! Today is May 12, 2016 and decided that a company who charges your card before the item is shipped, is just bad business. Put a dispute in with my credit card company and I have faith they will handle Bourbon & Boots. Don't have the time to deal with incompetent businesses. Too many good businesses online available. Do not buy from this company, unless you need a headache!

This company has ZERO human contact when you have an issue.

I ordered two blanket wraps last fall. They are extremely fragile and flimsy. No one would respond to emails so I kept them. At that time I unsubscribed from their email lists. I have no intentions of buying from them again and their email marketing is incessant.

A few weeks ago, they added me back into their email list. This is ILLEGAL. I unsubscribed yet again. The next day I got another promo email; again, I unsubbed. This went on for weeks with daily emails and me trying to get off their list yet again.

I emailed them through their contact me page on their website. No response, other than automated messages that I could expect a response the next business day and surveys asking me to rate their customer service; however, no one had contacted or helped me.

I emailed them at every address I could find listed on their site. No response.

I messaged them on Facebook. No response. EVERY time they send me email, they are violating US Canned Spam LAWS.

I am still trying to get off their list and have started copying the address to report spam on every message they send.

Bottom line, they have ZERO human contact and have no issues breaking laws. Think hard before you order here.

Ordered a pen from this company in December 2106 but still have not received it on February 6, 2017. Company is not responsive to e-mail inquires about the status of my order.

I placed an order for two sets of whiskey glasses the first week of July. After a week an a half of no shipping confirmation I contacted customer service. I was told there was a vendor issue and the glasses would ship out the first week of August.

My first issue is why did I have to be the one to make the contact first. Fast forward to this past week (last week of August) I have inquired via email 5 times because my glasses never shipped. Last expected date of shipment was September 12th. Again, never did anyone contact me. Nor did anyone try to make my experience better.

My two biggest complaints are that anyone can order these glasses on their site. There is no disclaimer of a delay or expected ship date which makes me wonder how many other customers are experiencing a delay. Lastly, I ended up canceling my order and asked to speak to a manager. I was told she was on lunch and would call me back and that has never happened.

Seems like I'm having a hard time finding anywhere to leave positive or negative reviews online other than here. I don't expect a discount or free merchandise, I simply think that they are running a terrible operation. It's a shame because they have such nice merchandise but I wonder if anyone actually gets what they pay for in a timely manner at that.

I ordered a hover board from Bourbon and Boots on November 7th. I received several emails stating delays in shipping but promising to ship the week after Thanksgiving. After I called and emailed them several times without a response I called several times in a two day period until someone picked up the call. It was a very nice woman that apologized for the delays but promised I would have my item by December 23rd... A few days prior to Christmas I called and again received the run around about where my item was and a promise that it will be here "around Christmas" later that day I received another email stating that my item was being held by customs in Ohio... They cancelled my order and refunded my money but the damage was done and my daughter never got the present she wanted... A few days after Christmas Bourbon and Boots posted on their web site that they had plenty of extra hover boards but the were double the price I ordered mine...
Basically the owe me a hover board for $189 as promised

I had a problem with a glass arriving shattered. Although it did take some time to resolve this, B & B went above and beyond to resolve the matter. I love this company and their products. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome and will continue to purchase from them.

Oh how I wish I had investigated this company before I purchased from them! I was scrolling thru Facebook when I saw their products advertised as a company that one of my friends had "liked". They were stylish and fit the décor of my office. I ordered a cowhide rug and a reclaimed whiskey?/wine? barrel lid lazy susan on 9/14. I tried calling the company on the 16th when I had not received any communication on their receiving my order or status of it. Of course, no answer and I was sent to voicemail with no return call. It wasn't until 9/20 that I receive an email saying that one or more of my items were on backorder. They didn't even give a new expected shipment date. I knew then I was in trouble. I have left several voice messages and finally emailed them to fulfill the order immediately or refund my money(which was debited from my account the very next day after my order was placed). I have never heard of or knew that it was legal for a business to take your money for a product until it was shipped to you. No response to date to the phone calls or email and I don't look to receive any. I guess I have learned a $272 lesson and will be contacting Facebook and all of my contacts regarding this SCAM of a company. I will be disputing the charge with the credit card company if I don't hear from them in the next day or so. And if they tell me that my items are on "backorder"(seems to be their excuse for everything), I will be refunded my money, one way or another. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

This business ripped me off and will rip you off! I ordered a gift on line for my husband. My credit card was billed right away. I have never received what I ordered. I called and emailed Bourbon & Boots several times and they never got back to me. I have never felt the need to file a Revdex.com Review until now. stay away form this business!!

I placed an order with Bourbon and Boots on September 13th, 2016 and my credit card was charged immediately. On the 19th I received an email stating the product I ordered was on backorder. I emailed the company on the 24th and again on the 27th to find out how long the wait would be and still have not heard anything. I placed multiple phone calls to the company today, September 29th but have not been able to reach an actual person. I left a voicemail but am not optimistic.

On 7/5/16 I purchased two items from Bourbon & Boots, on 7/8/16 I received one of the items, there was no communication from the company prior to this saying my product, College Town/Knoxville, Rock Glasses, was on back order/expect delayed delivery, etc., there was a slip of paper in the box that said partial order. On 7/13/16 I sent an email inquiring on when I could expect the remainder of my order, the response from Taylor W. on 7/14/16 was they had changed vendors and were expected to ship in 1-2 weeks. I responded that would be OK, it is a Christmas gift and 1-2 weeks was reasonable. As of August 2, 2016 I had still not received the merchandise or a correspondence from the company therefore I sent another email inquiring about the order. The response was the vendor was almost finished with production and my order would ship third week in August. The last I heard from the company was my last email was received and being reviewed by the support staff. On 9/10/16 I sent an email inquiring once again, asking if the product is available if so then I expected a definitive ship date, if not then please refund my purchase price. I have yet to hear from the company. The product "College Town/Knoxville Rocks Glasses" are available on their website, not flagged temporarily out of stock, they fail to say anything about delayed delivery. People understand delay with product, what they fail to tolerate is poor customer service and failure to be kept in the loop on product they spent money on and have yet to see any value out of it. If and when the product becomes available then the company should in the best interest of customer service, number one offer an apology and two, expedite shipping! They have wonderful items on their website and I had a list of items to purchase as Christmas gifts but I will not take that risk of ordering from them again. I have kept all communication to and from this company as record. Thank you....

I ordered a Christmas gift on December 12. The gift was paid for at that time. As of this date 1/4/2017, I hear nothing from the Bourbon and Boots. No responses to email or my phone calls. Their customer service is non existent. Don't do business with these people. They have taken my $70 and returned nothing.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased anything from Bourbon and Boots. I placed an order on June 28 for an item that was shown to be available on their website (still shows as available....) a few days later I get a notification that the item is on backorder "to to unusually high demand". After repeated emails over the next few weeks all I got was, "sorry we will update you once it ships", "oh sorry the inventory arrived damaged, it will be another few weeks". It's now August 24.... still no item and I am out $140. The customer service agent never once offered ANYTHING for the inconvenience (this was supposed to be a house warming gift.... at this rate it will be a house warming gift for their next home). I get it, things happen, IF they are in fact telling the truth. No sincere I am sorry, no coupon, no gift card. Now they won't even return my emails and their phone line goes no where. I really wanted this item, but now all I want is a refund. Is it really too much to ask for honesty and good customer service these days?! It's not rocket science folks, take care of your customers and they will happily buy more things from you! I highly recommend you shop elsewhere, worst online purchasing experience ever.

My husband ordered some Christmas gifts for friends and family from Bourbon and Boots. One, a pen, in October and the other, a cooler.

The item, as of 1/7/17, have YET to arrive. My husband has contacted customer service, who have told him the items are "in back order." A quick review of negative reviews on this site and the company's response seem to indicate that the entire stock of the website is on back order. If you are selling items that you do not actually have, without letting the customer know that you do not have them, that is a scam. When I'm told an item will arrive on a certain day, then never receive any update from the company on the shipping date or anything else (without jumping through hoops and STILL not getting an honest answer), that is a scam. I've since seen the cooler we ordered being sold at grocery stores, so this is not some rare, handmade item.
My husband is willing to be patient, but I am fed up with this company, especially after seeing the many reviews on this same issue. People do not have money to waste around the holidays, and screwing up expensive Christmas gifts for people without even a shred of notification as to why is pretty low. I will never be doing business with this company again, and I will warn others against doing so as well. There are plenty of Southern business people to support who won't rip you off.

I wish I had seen this before I placed an order.

I am going through the same thing the other consumers have complained about -- charging my credit card and then claiming the item is back ordered etc.

In my case, I ordered 3 items, only one of which was allegedly backordered. Of course, the company failed to mail out the other 2 despite repeated requests.

I still have not received ANY of the items I ordered, even the ones that were supposedly in stock.

I ordered a product on 8/12/16, and they billed my credit card immediately on 8/12/16. **A business should never bill your credit card until your order has been fulfilled; especially if they don't even have the product available.** I checked the status of my order on 8/17/16, and their website said it was being processed. I emailed Bourbon & Boots to see when my item would be shipped/received. I was informed they were receiving a stock of my items the following week, and that it would ship to me the same day. I emailed them again, 13 days later, on 8/30/16 with no response from them as of yesterday. I emailed them again yesterday, 9/1/16, to request a refund to my credit card. I received an email this morning to my second inquiry about when my item would be shipped/received. Their response was the same -- that a shipment would arrive next week. They have not responded to my request for a refund. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I'm not interested in buying from a company that does not even have the items in stock yet they take my money.

I have similar negative experience wirh Bourbon and Boots as others have noted. Totally unresponsive to any communication email or phone. I ordered an item and was notfied it was back ordered. I emailed to ask how long til they expected it to ship. NO RESPONSE. I phoned and left voicemail. NO RESPONSE. I emailed and phoned to request cancellation. I ordered the item from their supplier which I found on Etsy. Bourbon and boots subsequently shipped me item. I contacted their return site and was advised I was outside of their return policy. I have contacted them via email and phone and received only a system generated response that.their support staff is reviewing...that was 4 days ago. Completely disatisfied with something that should be relatively standard process for a retailer!
