I made this mistake ONE time, then corrected my mistake IMMEDIATELYI am not, and was not for any extended period of time, under the impression that the part was meant to be "refurbished." Therefore, "refurbished" or "not refurbished" is NOT the issue here(2) I do not care what the item looks likeLet me repeat myself, because these scammers continue to use this argument: I DO NOT CARE what the item looks likeRUST is not a color, RUST is not "what an item looks like." RUST is an IRON OXIDE that is physically CORROSIVE to machine partsIt is shocking that this distinction has to be explained to someone who is supposed to be delivering quality, low mileage auto parts as their primary business(3) Furthermore, the part was represented on their website as being CLEAN and NOT covered in rust(4) ADDITIONALLY, they advertise "LOW MILEAGE" auto partsThis part was used for over 150,miles! Does that sound like "LOW MILEAGE" to you? (5) And even further, THE BALL BEARINGS on the part are SO LOOSE that they can be heard shaking around(6) My mechanic did not even advise me putting the part in my vehicle, but instead advised me to return it immediately(7) In addition, I am a working professionalI have already needed my car to be fixed for many days nowI have rented a car in the meantimeThe fact that this company, after delivering me a faulty part for ALL of the reasons I have shared above, thinks they have the right to tell me to take time out of my day to call around and look for a place to perform a test on this part, and to pay for it, and to see if it merely works one time, during the test, and to IGNORE the RUST, the BEARINGS, the 150,MILES, and the deception practices of the company, ALL IF THE PART happens to pass a simple test, is RIDICULOUSI hope you can see that(8) And finallyCurse laden? Give me a breakThis is a lie alsoIn ONE email only, in ONE sentence only, using ONE WORD only, I called the rust-covered, loose-ball-bearing, 150,000+ miles, old junkyard salvaged alternator that they charged me for, a "piece of st." Why did I do this? Because, quite simply, they sent me a rust-covered, loose-bearings, 150,miles, junkyard-salvaged piece of stThat's whyTHEY KNOW IT, I know it, and now YOU know itTheir customers DEFINITELY know it, because they have a FAIL rating on your website, and the Internet is FILLED with stories of how they rip people offThank you very much Revdex.com for doing what you doI can provide images and can speak over the phone if necessaryI just don't want other people having to go through this same frustrating, time consuming processHave a wonderful dayRegards, [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

We offer a time replacement over a year periodThe customer placed an order for a transmission in December of 2017, the unit failed and was replaced under warranty in March of 2018, the customer has now filed this claim and reached out after several months of owning and driving the second unit We have supplied working transmissions which the customer had installed and now claims the second unit is now failing as well although unfortunate and not common our supplier does not replace a unit after days on the warranty claim replacement

Our warranty explicitly states that a licensed mechanic at a licensed repair facility must perform the installationOur warranty terms can be found here : [redacted] What are the Warranty Terms?If any part should fail within the year warranty period due to defect in material, we will, at our option replace the part or refund your moneyYou will be responsible to return the part with the original invoice to us properly packed and secured for shippingOnce we receive the part we will check it for our original markings, and proceed with approval of your warranty claimAll parts must be installed by a certified mechanic at licensed repair facilityAll warranty claims must be initiated via email with precise explanation of an issueAdditional documentation may be required.( A copy of the original installation invoice as well as an estimate to repair the part.)

This information is systematically falseThe order was shipped in days on 10/ Secondly suggesting that we have somehow blocked his number and changed our email address is paranoia at bestThis complaint was received on the very email address that is "non valid"We are glad to issue a refund once the part is received back

I have now seen the picturesI do see a crack, which we would gladly accept a return forSince the customer has disputed the charge, we require them to return the engineAll return shipping is covered by the customer, and we have at this point not gotten paid on this order

The customer will not provide pictures of the engine showing this damageIt was run tested prior to shipmentI'm also not sure why the customer keeps pointing out the the person who signed for the engine was not authorized to, as he clearly received itThey have been informed that since they have stopped payment that per our terms of service they are required to return the engine

We have a hour period to cancel an order, this customer was trying to cancel an order which had already shippedThe tape of the phone conversation was recorded and reviewed it can be provided to the Revdex.com if necessaryThe representative she had spoken to is the floor manager and called her from his private desk, he explained the situation that since the part had already shipped once it arrives the customer may return it for a partial refundAs stated on our website we provide free shipping to a commercial addressWe do not however cover return shippingAs quoted on our website "You may return all unchanged and original items purchased at LowMileageParts.com within days of the original delivery subject to a 20% restocking and handling fee." The customer states she attempted to call and received no responseWe have reason to believe this is untrue, we checked our phone log data base which shows all incoming, on going, and dropped calls, no such number called us, in fact no other number with the same area code rang in that dayOnce our rep saw the customer stated they could not reach us by phone he reached out to her via phoneThe customer was very irate and was not willing to cooperate or even listen to the rep explaining protocolWe explained that she attempted to cancel the order after it has shippedThe tracking number was not uploaded to the system but did infact leave our facility once we have the part back we will be issuing a refund less the shipping back as well as less the 20% restocking fee

This customer is falsely accusing us of selling an incomplete product because he did not follow the installation requirementsWe have recorded calls with this customer where he called and stated the transmission is not shifting properly when asked if he followed the installation procedures and if he installed a new filter as stated here [redacted] The customer also should notice what is included with transmission, notice it does not mention filter or wiring harness or shifter or hoses or sensors, the customer had no problem with the other items not being there but the fact that we told him he voided his warranty by not installing properly and not changing filter sparked his rage and he began this Revdex.com complaintThis is an attempt to soil our good name because he did not do his due diligenceIt is not our fault that the customer chose not to follow the terms What's Included and What to Expect:All of our Transmissions are Shipped as Complete Assemblies.They all include:TransmissionTorque Converter (Automatic Transmissions Only)Oil PanFor the record here is a list of what needs to be done to the transmission during installationThis list was emailed to the customer and also is readily available on the side of the websiteCheck the flex plate for cracks or excessive wear on the starter teeth.Replace oil pan gasket, front and axle seals and replace filter (if applicable).Flush & inspect transmission cooling linesFollow manufacturer's recommendations.Properly align torque converter (Automatic Transmission Only).Finish installation of the transmissionWhen finished, add transmission fluid to manufacturer's specificationsStart the engine and add more TF immediatelyAdditional fluid can now be added until the transmission reads ’sfull’s on the dipstick.Reset control module codes.Adjust throttle position sensor cable

The motor carries a year warranty on partsThe customer got this engine had it installed and was running flawlesslyShe states she drove the vehicle for miles or so and it failedWe covered the cost of the repair less the labor as stated in our warrantyThis customer also agreed to this, we even have emails mentioning that we could not cover the labor and she responded to the email agreeing she just wanted the $for parts

I am rejecting this response because: I was between a rock and a hard place I never said I agreed to them not paying for the labor when you spend 3000+ on a motor plus all the cost it took to put it in you expect it to run for more that miles (was actually less than miles) I was without a vehicle had no money left to pay for more parts couldn't afford another for a car rental They can say it was a working engine but reality is it was broken or it would of run for another 100k miles not less than I will not accept their excuses and will pursue this every way legally till they do what is rightI do have all the emails also never in one of them did I say it was ok for them not to pay for labor EVER !!!

I know this issue has been sent on to the company and waiting for a response from them but we need to make a decision on our daughter's car and have ordered another engine and will now being paying around $for engine and labor because she needs her car for work and my wife and I are unable
to continue to adjust our work schedules. The engine was ordered Monday and arrived today, ***'s should have it installed by Tuesday. Four days against five weeks with a warrantyVery dissatisfied

Your associate who contacted me initially about this said that A self install was coveredUnder his instruction I was to send invoices to which I complied, and Then the new motor would be shippedThen, I get an email back from a rude associate who showed no respect to someone who has paid the company for a defective product, This issue will not go awayAll I request is a new motor sent to meI do not need labor covered or any of that junkSimply a new motor sent to the same place as the first one.

We show you had the first transmission ordered in December, that one went bad after a few months and a replacement was sent in March, now emailing again in May stating the second went badWe only offer a time replacement, the second transmission carried a day warranty on itWe do not resupply a 3rd transmission

The customer decided that they did not like the look of the product and claimed that they had purchased a refurbished partThey were simply asked to have the part tested to show that it was not functioning, and EMAIL us the print outI am more than happy to share all of the threatening, curse
laden emails from this customerI personally attempted to work with the customer, but they were insistent on going this route

We are unable to issue a refund on an order this oldWe are fully willing to replace the part

The part was tested before it was shippedWe simply asked for the customer to have it tested, any parts store will do this for free and provide a printoutThe customer was informed that we could then have it picked up and issue a refundHe chose instead to dispute the charge with his credit card
