Northeast Power Dry, Inc. Reviews (48)

Our basement got flooded last week and NorthEast Power Dry, Inc. came to our rescue. They took pictures, drained the water out, cleaned the place up, set up a humidifier and put in large fans in the basement to dry it out. They also helped me talk to our insurance company to file a claim. Great job and a big thank you to Anthony, Bill and Carlos!

We have been trying to get a hold of you to discuss final payment.  [redacted] from [redacted] has informed me that you are aware of the final amount of $1,699.91 Is owed to Northeast Power Dry.

I accidentally left my garden hose on over a 24 hour period and found water had seeped in under the concrete floor of my finished basement. That was Sunday night, on Monday afternoon, after many attempts to soak up the water with towels I called my insurance agent. They gave me two companies to call. The first one I called a girl came out and said they'd have to cut the sheet rock and remove the carpet and padding. She cut a sample of my carpet to take with her. On Tue morning I called NE Power Dry. I had an account manager, Mark L, here within an hour. He said there was no need to cut my walls, AND if she hadn't cut my carpet, he could have dried and saved my carpet as well!! He assured me that most likely my homeowners policy would cover the damages. After a very thorough explaination of what he thinks happened and how he would correct the situation he called my insurance company and helped process a claim! Then Martin the specialist that comes in with the drying equipment showed up. He totally took over cleaning up the situation, removing the wet carpet and padding. He left the area totally cleaned up and explained to me what the various machines were doing.

Mark and Julio of Northeast Power Dry did an outstanding job in dealing with our water leak and resultant damage. Mark arrived shortly after we called and assessed the situation. He had Julio and Jeno at our house by mid day. Julio and Jeno worked hard all afternoon and did not leave until all the equipment was properly installed and running=about 8 P.M. or later.

Excellent service and people to Work with

I am very pleased with the work of this company.

Northeast Power Dry send me a project manager name Brendan within 45 minutes after I called, he very professional, patient and call home insurance to get claim number then explain to me the process will get my basement dry quick so I can have a peace of mind. I was empressed, the whole team work so hard, professional, and organized. This is the first time my water heater broke. My home in a good hand with Northeast Power Dry. Thank you Brendan

Very efficient company to do business with. I called Northeast Power Dry, Inc. with a water problem. Within two hours a representative arrived and evaluated the situation. After a discussion and information given a crew arrived to begin the drying process.

Great job. Cleaned up water in basement after plumber did not connect furnace pipes. They were expedient, professional, and very thorough. Would recommend them again. No idea of cost, as plumbing company is paying due to their negligence, so I can't comment on that.

IT WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE TO SEE HOW EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS THE WHOLE CREW WAS.
THEY KNEW WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE - AND THEY DID IT FAST AND EFFICIENTLY.

Review: NE PD incorrectly billed the homeowner for the balance due on a water damage job. The amount should have been

$1,461.22, as per [redacted] coverage for this claim, not ~$1,669.

The company was informed in writing that $4,667.14 would be paid directly to NEPD by [redacted] while the remaining balance of $1,461.22 would be paid by the homeowner,

However, the homeowner was given the full bill for ~$6,600.

Please also note that the homeowner did not receive the invoice on 5/24, it had been sent to the Association.

Please send the corrected balance due, in addition to a copy of the paid invoice to the homeowner.

The documentation of the billing was inaccurate (overcharge of $200 to homeowner) and disorganized (bill was to be paid by two parties, RCP Management and the homeowner; each entity should have been billed their determined amount).

Also, the homeowner had difficulty receiving a COI from NE PD. [redacted] had hired NE PD to do the water damage work, but the homeowner was also responsible for payment or for any injuries/damages onsite. Please comply with homeowners' request for COI.Desired Settlement: Please have NE PD vacuum the debris leftover from the premises.

Please send a certificate of insurance with homeowners' names and address listed as additional insured.

Please breakdown the bill to reflect the separate payments owed/paid by RCP/Griggs Farm and the homeowner.

Please send a paid invoice showing payment by the two parties.

Please also note that the homeowner did not receive the invoice on 5/24, it had been sent to the Association.

Hi, [redacted], good to meet you.

I know [redacted] has been cc'ing you in our correspondence.

I appreciate the work your company has done to address my concerns but I will not remove the Revdex.com complaint nor pay for the cleaning services, please.

I believe the billing process could have been handled better, especially since the invoice was to be handled by two different insurance companies.

Thank you very much for addressing my concerns.

[redacted] Please excuse any typographical errors in this e-mail -- thank you.

Hello [redacted], My name is [redacted] and I am the Office Manager here at Northeast Power Dry. I am reaching out to you because I am aware that you had some concerns regarding your claim. I am aware that you placed a complaint on the Revdex.com website. I wanted to inform you that I have issued the certificate of insurance to the Revdex.com and we have submitted a paid in full invoice to you. I realized that one of your concerns with the work performed was that you wanted Northeast Power Dry to vacuum up some left over debris. Unfortunately we are not a cleaning service and we don’t provide these services. I have reviewed this with my boss and we are willing to pay for a cleaning service to come to your property and vacuum the debris, if you are willing to remove the complaint since we have addressed all of your concerns. Thank you, [redacted]Office Manager Northeast Power Dry[redacted]

My Rep from Northeast Power Dry [redacted] was prompt, courteously, friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. He made himself available for my needs and was very helpful.

I HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE PROFESSIONALISM, PROMPTNESS, AND CARING WITH WHICH I HAVE BEEN TREATED TO DATE IN WORKING WITH NORTHEAST POWER DRY AFTER A RUPTURED WATER LINE IN MY HOME DID EXTENSIVE FLOODING IN A FEW HOURS TIME. TWO DAYS LATER, I PASSED ALONG THEIR NAME TO MY SERVER IN RESTAURANT WHERE I WAS EATING WHEN SHE WALKED OVER TO SAY NO MORE HOT FOOD ORDERS. THEY HAD JUST EXPERIENCED FLOODING FROM A FROZEN PIPE. I WOULDN'T HAVE DONE SO IF I HADN'T BEEN VERY, VERY PLEASED WITH MY OWN EXPERIENCES IN SUCH TRYING CIRCUMSTANCES.

Fast, professional, courteous, and expedient

Review: About 6 weeks before my wife and I purchased a condominium the water heater broke and flooded much of the unit. Northeast Power Dry was contracted by the owner's insurance company to dry the unit and replace the wood laminate floor. We then concluded the purchase, moved in, and noticed 2 places where the floor had lifted up. Upon calling the installer he promised to talk to the owners and let me know what they will do. He never returned my call and even after I called and spoke to him 3 additional times, always promising to call me back, he never did. In our final conversation he said the owners refused to repair the problem because the unit because the original owner no longer owned the property. They never even offered to have someone look at the problem or make a service call.

I believe they should stand behind their installation as it was only a few weeks between the installation and the problem.Desired Settlement: fix the problem.

Response:

The previous homeowner did have water damage at her condo from the water heater. The laminate floor was replaced and the previous homeowner signed a certificate of satisfaction that they were satisfied with the installation of the new laminate flooring. Our agreement was with the previous homeowner and is not transferrable. The previous homeowner was satisfied with our mitigation of the water damage and the installation of the laminate flooring.

The team at Northeast Power Dry were very knowledgeable, answering all our questions. They were friendly and accommodating and provided thorough and professional services.

Excellent Service, very professional and helpful. Having never been through a water emergency before, it was very overwhelming. [redacted] was very helpful, walked me through the whole process and helped with contacting the insurance company.
The guys who came to set up the machinery were very efficient and pleasant.
