I spoke with this customer yesterday after receiving this complaint and listened to his issuesI then placed him km a conference call with the sales representative that booked his jobHe I asked her with him on the phone if he was told any of this and she explained exactly what was told to himHe said he only needed storage for a month or lessWe gave him a month for free and he was well aware that he would be charged for anytime after that and what the charges would beI asked him if [redacted] was lying to me and he said no! I told him that the best option at this point would be for him to come and get his stuff asap and that I would not charge him for the week that he said it would take him to get the stuff outThat is a fair offer and I have nothing more to add to this issueAnd yes I was nasty and rude because you seemed to be under the impression that you were speaking to a boy or an underling on the phoneUnderstand something you recived a contract spoke to the sales rep, myself and the forman on the day of the move you we took your job under the assumption that you were moving because that is what you told usYou paid your bill last month and now you want to try to say you were not aware of any of thisDo everyone a favor and come get your sfuff and stop wasting my company's valuable timeAs of yesterday you have free storage for days

Justin, let me tell you something, you have been carrying on about this cat box for months and I'm tired of it and youI don't think you would be able to find one sane person that would have given you what you were expecting to get for that junk cat boxYou tried to get me to buy you a new oneWhen that didn't work you wanted me to pay you $for this one and I said noTo make you happy because I could see it meant a lot to you I offered to pay you $Then I started getting phone calls from your fatherDemanding money from me calling me everydayThreatening to come to my office and meet meLet me tell you something I owe you $that's itI had to block your father from calling me and I'm going to do the same to youDon't ever contact me again

I hired Northeastern van lines quite hastily as I needed some movers very urgentlyBut, on contrary to my fears, the movers turned out to be delightfulThe men were all very experienced and it showed in their workThey packed up all our belongings in a very short timeNot only were they fast, they were also very efficientThey took such great care of our furniture while loading them onto the vanSoon they were off to the roadThey made the delivery right on time as wellAll our things traveled quite wellI have no words for how amazingly this crew handled my move

This customer tried to get me to buy him a new cat boxThe cat box cost almost $The Forman was questioned about the cat box and told me it was old and as soon as he picked it up it broke in his handsI spoke with the customer about the cat box and felt bad about it and offered to pay what we were liable for which is cents per pound per articleHe didn't want that so I offered him $Upon further review we feel he only deserves what we are legally obligated to pay for a broken cat box lidSo if he sends me the weight of the item I would be happy to pay him per pound per article Thank youMike

Northeastern Van lines are a great and honest companyThey stated that they will arrive at am and they did and my job was done with in hoursThe workers are firm and caring individualsI'm Grateful they made my move stress free I will recommend this company to anyoneThank you Northeastern Van Lines I will use your services again in the future

First off I do not know where you get your information from but Northeastern Van Lines is a family run business and we are not banned in any state!!! You should check your information again and stick to the facts before you get to meet my lawyersWe are a licensed household goods transportation company licensed to operate in every state in the United States of America! I know the company you are confusing us with and so does the Revdex.com so stop itYou have been threatening me ever since the day we did your job and I do not like it at allMy guys did your job and if you had any issues with the job you should have said something that day before you paid the billI never told you packing material would be free of charge I even told you that if you wanted to keep our blankets you would have to pay for them and you agreedOn the day of the move I told you we did not have enough material to do your job and you agreed to go buy the material with your husband and we would use your material and there would be no charge and I would discount your billWe give some packing for free but you requested boxes! Do you have any idea how much boxes cost? I still let you keep our blankets and did not charge you for themThis customer had members of her family there that were in the way of the guys working and they were all over the placeThe customer was rolling her eyes at the guys and making comments all through the jobShe was sending me text messages and emails the entire time that they were there and I had to keep calling the foreman to talk to herEveryone was upset and wanted to get away from her as soon as possibleThe guys drove three hours to get to her house and she was rude and nasty to everyoneBefore the job started she called me and tried to scream on me in front of the men that she worked as an arbitrator for the governor and that she understood contracts and that my paperwork was not correct.This went on the entire dayShe has been sending me threatening emails and text messages from that day onOne email is titled TELL IT TO THE JUDGE! I can not and will not be bullied or blackmailed by a low life like thisAs you can see this is her motivation because she really does not have an issueAnd if she did we are fully licensed and insured and if there was any damage she could always file a claim with our insurance companyWhich we of course would not have since we are BANDED IN FOUR STATES!!! and operate under fictitious namesAs I stated to you over the phone and through emailIf you have a valid issue I will address it but if you just want to try to slander me because you think you can good luckAs it stands right know you owe me for the blankets that you said you would pay forI do not owe you anything Mike

I have been in constant contact with this customer and what I will tell you is that almost everything he is saying is trueAll but the fact that he told us when we picked up his stuff that he was not in a hurry to get his stuff and that there are hundreds of complaints about my company online and that we are the worst moving company out there and that I have not been in touch with him about his move and that the authorities have been in touch with me about his load! In fact I just called this customer about minutes after this complaint was emailed to me and went in on him for lying about every claim he is making about my company and told him if he wants his stuff and his money back I will be happy to give it to him TODAY!!! We have been doing this a long time and do not rip customers offYou used my company because we were willing to ship your stuff cheaplyI knew you did not have a big load and you said you were not in a hurry so I agreed to take itBut now you want to complain about my serviceLook this is why we avoid people that cant afford a moving company in the first placeI offered to give you a credit for taking so long to make the deliveryYour contract does not have a specific delivery date listed on it and there was no specific delivery date promisedIf you slander me or my company again online I will contact my lawyer and you will be the one with the problems Kyle

I spoke with [redacted] in December and informed him of what his costs for storage would be He agreed to pay and now he is saying he did not agree to the priceI told him in December that he would be posting $a month for storage and I gave him the first month for free He knew what the costs were going to be and he had plenty of time to make other arrangements to store his stuff We are not a storage facility we are a moving company We store our customers items as a service for customers that we move long distance so they do not have to worry about their items [redacted] told us he was moving long distance to get cheap or free storage and three months later it's still sitting in my storage and now he does not want to pay the bill Solution, take your stuff out of my storage asapI will hold it for you until you find someplace else to put itHe said he will get it out in a week If that's the case I won't charge him

First off the box that was missing was shipped and returned to this customer. I have the shipping bill and tracking number if you would like to view it as well as any and all contracts and documents concerning this move. We do many moves and it took some time to find the statue that the... customer lost but we found it and it was shipped. I would just like to point out that this customer had a two part move that had to be done over three days. We sent one 26 foot box truck to Sleepy Hollow New York that was loaded full to the door. The second truck was supposed to go to her apartment and pick up a few boxes and a bed and closet. I called the customer the day before and the day of the move to confirm what we were picking up and she continued to lie to me and tell me a couple of boxes a bed and closet. When you arrived on location we were hit with the surprise. It turned out that she needed full packing of the apartment. About 36 full sized painting and sculptures. The customer complained all through the move and had issues with the time it was taking to pack every one of her dishes and paintings. The loading of her home took two days and she refused to pay for almost all of the packing materials that were used and I have the contracts to prove that they did not pay for almost all of the packing materials. At the last minute [redacted] called me and told me I had an issue with the move in New Hampshire. He informed me that there was a bridge that we had to cross that would not hold the weight of the two 29,000 pound trucks that were holding his items. I informed him that we would need a shuttle to drive over the bridge and bring the items to the house. His words “I don’t care what it costs”. I gave him the price of the shuttle and the labor hours it would take to do the job which was about $850.00. The bottom line here is they did not pay for the packing material they did not pay for the shuttle and ended up getting away with almost $3000.00 in charges that I had every right to collect. If there is anything more I could do to make this customer happy please let me know. P.S. I would like to add that [redacted] would not stop complimenting the foreman [redacted] for the job that he did. He even made me promise to send [redacted] again to deliver his items in New Hampshire. Thank You [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] This business has not easy to work with or honest since telling us we would receive a refund, back in April At no point did we communicate this litter box was $We sent the company the refund paperwork and links to the website where the item was purchased, showing it had a value of $We were also told he needed this paperwork for his insurance company before we could receive a refund, so we completed it in a timely manner The item is not old, it was purchased in December and we can produce a receiptSo his employees lied to him about the condition of the box, that is not our fault.We have emails with the company owner (Michael Boston) being told a check was in the mailAnytime we followed up about the check we were always told a check would be in the mailWe followed up by email with the owner on April **, April [redacted] and May *, each time we were told a check was being sent so we were emailing him to say nothing was receivedIn July we realized our relative live fairly close to their office in NY, so we encourage the owner to meet with them and give them a check/cash, since mailing one was clearly not getting done.This is when the owner started reaching out us by text conversation, and was rude and insulting (also have copies of this) We are not looking to get more than what the item costHowever, when something is broken during a move, by the moving company, we expect a timely refund from them and not to be jerked around, lied to repeatedly, and insulted In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Hello, I am truly sorry that you were not happy with the service that we providedI would like you to know that we take complaints very seriouslyI have investigated your allegations and found that you are confused about the incidents that transpired on the day of your moveOn the day of
the move if an item was broken the proper thing to do would be to call me and tell me an item was brokenThat did not happen so I assume if something was broken it happened when my truck was goneAs far is my employee soliciting alcohol from someone in your family once again if there was an issue a phone call would need to have been made at the time of the incident I did not get a call about that and you did not mention anything about that when you called to threaten me so I assume that really did not happen eitherI questioned the person that you are talking about as well as the foremen and they both said there was no other people on location when they were doing the move so how could this have happened? I asked the foreman about your floors and he said they were scratched before they startedI would like to see a picture of the floors before they moved your items in to see if in fact it was us that damaged your floors. Paying in cash is standard and you were informed of this when your job was booked and in the emails that were sent to youYou pay when the service is rendered meaning when your items arrive at your new home you are required to pay the billOnce the bill is paid we unload the reason for this is obvious. An explanation of the travel time is written at the bottom of your estimate it says Please note that packing materials will be charged only according to what will be used for your moveDiscounted pricing is available for our customersTolls, Fuel, Parking Tickets, are the responsibility of the shipper. Travel Time is calculated from our loading dock to your pickup location back to our loading dock from your final destinationThe distance between your first location and the second location are labor hoursWe do not charge for traffic delays or any other issues that would delay your delivery. A full refund of your deposit is given with hour advance notice of need to cancelWe thank you for considering Northeastern Van Lines for your moveThis was emailed to you on Friday June *** at 12:15pmAs far as the packing is concerned as you can see you were informed of the fact that we do charge for packing material and you did not want to pay for it so we did not use itTips are appreciated but it is not an obligationThis was also explained to you in the company policy which you signed before the guys started the jobYou never told me about any driveway lights if you would have informed me of any of this I would have had the foreman pay for them on the spot! It is not our job to measure YOUR doorway to make sure your couch fits that's your jobMy guys would have hoisted your couch through the window and made sure it went in safely somehow if you would have treated them like human beings and not like animals which it appears is what you think you hiredAnd yes you did call me today and yelled some threats at me and hung up before I could get a word in to talk to you about your move. Once again I am truly sorry that you were not happy with the service that we provided and would like to offer you a 25% discount on your next move and I hope that you have a better experience next time Thank You MB***

I never heard any complaints from this customer when the guys were on locationIf there were any issues with the bill she could have said something before, during, or after the moveI was available all day to speak to her if she had any issuesYou can see the email I sent her about her move
telling her it was going to be more than what she was expecting to pay before I even booked this jobI do not know what else I could have done for herLooks like she knows she's wrong and just wants to complain about it after the fact

We moved so easily only because of Northeastern van linesThese guys were just like well-oiled machinesThey were punctual and responsiveThey listened to all our instructions and requestsAll our furniture was wrapped in shrinking tapes and other belongings were packed and boxed properlyIt sometimes seemed like they were using too much packing materialsBut it only helped safeguarding our valuablesI received the delivery on time and in great conditionI have come to really appreciate what these guys do and how hard they work

If you read the contract that was sent you can see in the bottom left hand corner that the foreman wrote the customer did not pay $She paid only $for a job that should have cost over $We discounted her bill because we only used two men for the jobThe customer was cursing at me all day during this job and hanging up the phone on meI could not help her because the foreman told me she was irate and irrational even banging on the walls at one pointWe did not know what to do or how to deal with the situation so we decided to discount her bill and complete the jobI do not know what else we could have done.

I'm sorry but what exactly is your complaint hereYour job took longer than what was estimated because your lied about what we were moving and the conditions that we were going to be moving inYou were given the option to cancel the job and you agreed to do the job for $I never heard from you once on the day of the move and now your overcome with complaintsYou were emailing me your issues before the move and I was very straight forward with youI don't see what else I could have done to make things clear to youI even told you to find another company if you wanted me to lie to you and tell you this move was going to be cheapWhat else do you want?

I scheduled with Michael B*** of Northeastern Van Lines my moveI was sent email confirmation of the move and filled out an online form with my moving requirements and items to be moved At the time of scheduling the move he said the movers would be at my apartment between noon and 1:pmHe gave me his cell phone number to reach out to him if I had any questions I then spoke with him again the day prior to the move and he said between 1:00-2:but they would definitely be thereThe day of the move I did not hear from Michael and by 2:I started contacting him by phone and via textHe told me that they were "very busy" and would "get to me" or would I like to reschedule the move for the following dayBy 3:I called again and apparently I annoyed him as I was told that it's Saturday and they were busyI asked each time for an estimate and of arrival and each time he said "Antoine would call me back" Needless to say, I never once heard from AntoineAt this point it's 5:and Michael tells me that they'll be there between 8:00-9:pmFrom that point on I texted and called Michael and he did not respond to my texts and stopped answering my calls
I made it very clear from the beginning contact that I needed to leave the apartment I was in or I would have both legal and financial ramification if I didn'tObviously, it wasn't their problem at all to either call and cancel or show up
By not show up they left me in quite a bad situation with my former landlord and my current landlord and at no point did anyone bother to contact me or apologize for thisI am embarrassed that I ever thought to do business with this company and would never, ever recommend them to anyone for anything
I don't know how they're in business and wish that I had called Star Movers from the very start
