Customer [redacted] started bringing her Jeep into our service department on August 17th, with over 130,miles on it She continued to bring her vehicle in for oil changes and regular maintenance items On four different times in our shop we noted that there were oil leaks underneath her Jeep We noted on 9/6/and 1/24/that the leaks were in a status of “yellow” meaning that it will require attention in the futureOn 7/2/and 10/10/the leaks were in a status of “red” meaning we recommend that action be taking immediately to prevent any future concerns Our Service department noted that there are oil leaks four different times and recommended that we diagnose the leaksWe need to pay our technicians time to diagnose the leaksIt is up to the customer to decide whether or not they want to proceed in fixing the items we recommend to them Northwest Jeep Chrysler Dodge is not responsible for engine replacement

The vehicle went through a thorough inspection and our dealership’s policy is to inspect every pre-owned vehicle prior to having the vehicle available for saleThere are no exceptions to this ruleBased on the vehicle’s miles and year, we recommended a warranty as we don’t know what may come up in the futureThe customer declined to purchase a warranty, even though our finance manager was able to work with the financial institution to allow one within the structure of the car dealThe customer purchased the vehicle as-isWhen the customer brought these concerns up, his sales associate asked him to come in so that we could perform a no-charge inspection and provide him with a loaner vehicle rather than taking his vehicle to multiple stores and being charged for an inspectionOur certified techs were never able to duplicate the radio/CD problemThe other items the customer was concerned about didn’t come up during the original inspection and these concerns can develop over timeWe can provide you with the original inspection to show what our techs foundOne of the reasons why we offered and recommended a warranty on the vehicle is based on the mileage and year of the vehicleIn a customer good will gesture, we offered to take several hundred dollars off the estimated shop bill to help assist the customer, because it was a month after they purchased the vehicleOur dealership has been working with the customer since the end of October to help find a vehicle that fits their needsWith his credit history, the transaction took time and care and we were able to get him back on track in re-establishing his credit with a car loanThe customer previously complained about the shortness of his test drive, we do not put a limit to the length of a test drive prior to purchasing a vehicle because we want all of our customers to feel comfortable prior to buyingOur dealership has been in business for over years and we wouldn’t be in business if we took advantage of our customersWe are attempted to assist the customer in lowering the shop billThe customer declined our offer

I should have come to Yelp before heading out to this dealershipMy dealer told me the usual shpiel about being "different than the other guys in this line of work" since used car salesmen get a bad rapI get it, every dealer needs to make a profit from a used car and every dealer has skills in the "game" that you have to play to get a negotiable dealSome are more aggressive than others and you have to walk in with a strong backbone, especially walking in alone and a woman (yes, that matters)I get thatI was ready to play the game, it can even be fun if you know what you're doing...I knew the dealer would call me back an hour after I left the lot and he didI knew the dealer would take another few hours to "talk with his manager" after I gave him my offerI did NOT expect several hours of silenceI did not expect him to go down by a measly $100, but I did expect him to throw in financing as another way to get money out of meNo deal...so he told me the usual response that he will "check with a secondary manager." The usual back and forthI will say this now: If you read these reviews and still choose to bring your money to this undeserving dealership, you absolutely MUST GET EVERYTHING IN WRITINGDo not negotiate a deal verbally over the phone, unless perhaps you have the foresight to record itThat's how this place playsOr maybe that's just John RaptorThere are skills in the game and then there is gaslighting (look it up)I held firm on my offer, and John came back with more offers that I had to turn down because I have a budgetI then received a verbal agreement to my firm offer and a "You have a deal, my friendI will call you back." Despite the radio silence after this conversation, I had to call and confirm that I would be showing up the next day to confirm the saleThere was an agreement to meet the next morning (days after initial contact) to sign off on the paperworkI arrivedonly to be handed the first outrageous offer John came up with on the first day (not even the second, or third, or the one we finally agreed to)He then proceeded to gaslight me by telling me that I had agreed to the initial offerNo sir...I spend my dayjob dealing with incarcerated individuals who use gaslighting and coercive tactics to get their way, I anticipate it and expect itWhat I DON'T expect or accept is being gaslighted by an non-incarcerated professional who represents the name of this dealershipI expect the strategies of "the game" but when you tell me that I do not recall something that I know in fact happened, you are now outright insulting meI even pointed out the two prices we had discussed which he had written on the paper right in front of me, and he proceeded to tell me that we never discussed those pricesAfter some poorly feigned confusion from John, I proceeded to get up and leave because I do not have time to be blatantly insultedNot an hour later, the listed online price was increased, ready to hook another suckerBuyer bewareOther reviewers on yelp seem to have received a similar experience of having agreed to one price then being surprised with an increased price later onThis appears to be commonplace and not an exceptionNote: Although the owner appears to respond to your poor yelp review via yelp, he apparently does not follfurther than thatI was called by Jim D [redacted] to follon what happened and was told I would receive a call backI have not

We spoke to the customer explained the inspection process We wanted to retain him as a customer and we offered to split the costs of tires with the customer

Revdex.com, The customer purchased a vehicle from our dealershipThere is a Chrysler dealership in [redacted] where she lives She had the option to drive her vehicle there for any warranty work She decided to take her vehicle to our dealership to look at her concerns and passed several dealerships along the wayWhen the problems of her vehicle persisted, we worked with the manufacturer to get her into a new vehicle, which she purchased at the dealership where she lives Northwest Jeep Chrysler Dodge did not promise her any refunds for gas or money for a detail during the period in which we were assisting getting her vehicle bought back

The email correspondence we had was to reach out to the manufacturer and see if they would reimburse her for gas FCA declined reimbursement Our dealership will always invite our customers to come back and service their vehicles at our store and she has stated that she doesn't feel comfortable bringing her vehicle to her local Chrysler store for service We didn't state that she has to bring her vehicle back to the store she purchased it from in order to receive service or assistance in exchanging the vehicle

The customer purchased a vehicle with over 92,miles on it We recommended that they purchase a warranty as it is hard to determine with that amount of miles what, if anything will need fixing or replacing in the future Our Service department continues to work with the customer and any concerns that come up with his vehicle we are working towards addressing and fixingWe have an off site repair facility to where we work on pre-owned vehicles The customer does not have a service technician background and has diagnosed his vehicle prior to bringing the vehicle into our service department He has declined having us perform a diagnosis and has asked us to only install parts based on what he found to be wrong with the vehicle We have asked him to allow us to diagnose his vehicle in order to properly fix his vehicle His vehicle is currently at our dealership and we are working towards fixing his vehicle We never lied or concealed information regarding his vehicle and when he dropped off his vehicle we discussed the option of trading him out of his vehicle into something newer if he continues to be unhappy with the performance and reliability of his vehicle

The customer purchased a pre-owned truck with over 125,miles on it on March 2nd, They bought the vehicle "AS-IS" with no future work promised or implied The customer initially brought their concern to our attention over 3,miles later after their purchaseAs a business we cannot recondition every vehicle to a like new condition, especially a vehicle that has over 125,miles on it In addition to, for the past three months we don't know how they have treated or driven the vehicle That being said, in good faith we would like to help We have researched through Les Schwab for a quote on the work the customers have performed since owning their vehicle Les Schwab quoted us $ We are willing to send a check to the customers for $to help off set their time and money spent on this concernAfter speaking with [redacted] s co - signer, [redacted] he acknowledges that they bought the vehicle "AS-IS" and reimbursing the customer for items that may happen in the future doesn't make sense

Two weeks ago I called and requested GAP INSURANCE and ETENDED VEHICLE WARRANTY TO BE CANCELEDNow we’re in the third week nothing was doneLuckily I talked with Doug [redacted]  once and he promised that he will figure it out and let me know how to do it, so they can track mileageAfter couple days passed nobody called me, then I start calling them with explanation to every operator to redirect my call to someone who can helpAfter dozens voicemails I sent to multiple people, had no results I decided to file this complaint to solve this

NW Jeep has done repairs that were active factory recalls. The Jeep Grand Cherokee was dropped off on Monday 9-22 -18 and told us it would be done in 1 day. I got a message on Thursday that said it was ready to be picked up but that I owe $169. They also gave me a quote for other things they found. Told me that the steering was bad and leaking fluid. I had the jeep at another shop just before it went to Nw Jeep and they did not find anything wrong with the steering. It leads me to believe that they made a false clam or damaged the steering while doing the recall work. I gave no permission to perform any other work or was not notified of any costs that would be involved by doing the recall work. I have called, sent messages and emails. The General manager, Robert M [redacted] left a message to call him back and he would investigate. He said that he would be the point of contact. I have called him several times but he has checked me off his list as he keeps my jeep. They still have the jeep

The worst place to have vehicle serviced, if allowed to give negative stars I wouldOvercharged for a repair and purposely unplugged a connection to create another error code Pand we’re going to charge me another $dollars to fix it, all I did was plug it back in and the error went awayStay far away from this place, go to any other Jeep dealership but this one!

I took my car in for routine maintenance in November and the Dealership said that my tires were in trouble and I need to purchase new tires soonI never purchased new tires and when I took my car in for maintenance in July 2016, the dealership said my tires were green health-wise and are in good shapeThere is a major contradiction to their inspection of my tires Next, less than a week after having the July service my check engine light came onThe business refused to look at my car unless I paid $for diagnostics serviceLastly, during the July visit, the business said that they topped off all my car fluidsWithin a week, I had to add more coolant without there being any discovered leak

I've been trying to reach them with a concern about my car and schedule an apptI started calling at and its Left at least voicemail messages No respons

This has all happened within the first year I bought my truck from these guys
I have been in to this dealership to get my truck fixed on separate occasionsThe first time I went there it was for an exhaust leakI told them that I need my truck back in a week since I am going on vacation and need it to haul my boatdays passed by and I never heard from them, so I called to ask how the work is goingThey stated that the exhaust specialist was out and so they had to send it to another shopDay four rolls around and I called again to check on the status, again they said it was still getting looked atDay five now, I am still being told it was getting looked atSo I decided to drive down to speak with someone because I was not getting help from the guy I was speaking to on the phoneWhen I drove up I saw my truck sitting in the side lot, but I didnt say anything yetI went in and asked how my truck is coming alongThe service adviser told me that they are currently working on it right now and should be done shortlyI then stated that no, my truck is not getting worked on it is sitting out side in your other lotThen he states that it is in the process of getting moved to the exhaust specialistDay - I need my truck now to start packing for my vacationI called and they said it was doneSo I drove down there and waited till they brought my truck to meThey brought the wrong truckThey had no idea where my truck wasSo I started walking around to find it and I found it sitting in the back lot so I told them that I am going to take the truck now
Second trip: told them about the same exhaust leakthey stated that the bolts holding the muffler were stripped and so the exhaust was loose and that is why I am getting a rattle and exhaust smellThey did not replace the bolts, they just tightened them moreJust enough to hold temporarilyI drove my truck for a week and then the exact same rattling and exhaust smell came back
Third Trip: Went back to fix the same problemThis time they welded it together and the rattling went awayI still have an exhaust leak because I can still smell it in my cabAnd I can hear it when I start my truckMy brother is a mechanic and he is the one who brought it up to me
Fourth Trip: went back to have them fix the same exhaust leak and a new ticking sound that is happeningGot a call from the service adviser saying that I need a new Evap Sensor randomly and wanted $to install itI said no, I will do it since it is a $piece that only took me minutes to replaceI got another call back stating that the ticking sound is from a worn out belt tensionerThey replaced it since it was covered under my warrantyThey stated that they fixed my ticking soundI am over the exhaust leak at this point and I am planning on going somewhere else to get this fixedI went and grabbed my truck and immediately I get the same ticking soundI am tired of dealing with this dealership so I was looking for somewhere else to take my truck inAs I am doing that I have noticed that my truck isnt running right (same week after they said they "fixed" my issue)Seems like my timing is offIt was driving just fine before I brought my truck in the last timeI was able to scan my truck to get the codeIt came up as a cylinder misfire
Fifth Trip: Take it back in to get this fixed since I can barely drive my truck nowA day goes by and I get a call saying that they cannot get my truck to misfire, but now cannot get my truck startedThey told me that my starter went bad and that could be the cause of the misfireIt is not covered under my warranty so it will cost $to fixI told them that I did not have any problems with starting my truck before I brought it in to you guys and that my truck is barely years old and the starter should not be going out nowI told them to take my truck out of the bay and stick it somewhere I can get a tow truck to pick it upI drove down to the dealership and grabbed my keysBefore I wanted to call the tow company I wanted to make sure that my starter was actually bad since I cannot trust a word from anyone thereNope, my truck started right up with no problemDrove my truck off the lot and immediately my truck misfired
I really don't think these guys actually did anything to my truck other than just finding random things that they think is brokenIf I didnt know anything about cars I could have spent $so far for parts that have no relationship to what my actual problems areI would never recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle or use their shop for any reasonThey did not stand by their word and they will sell you stuff that you do not needLucky for me my brother is a mechanic so he was able to save me from spending my money for items that the dealership thought was broken

Unfortunately there is more than one complaint type against this dealershipNot only is it a customer service issue, but also a guarantee issue and product problemAbout months ago we went to this dealership to look at a Dodge Ram 4xThe salesmen we dealt with not only was very rude, but could of cared less about our businessAfter we walked out the sales manager called us to try and make a dealLuckily for us it worked out...so we thoughtHere we are months later and in a weeks time have dropped a grand in repairs and the bill keeps growingWe have put a little over miles on the truck since we bought it and not a single mile has involved the truck towing or being put to work related useWhen we bought the truck nothing was ever disclosed to us in regards to things that needed repaired now or soonWe were told everything was in good working order and there were no known problemsThe issue being at mph or less when the breaks are applied there is a serio
