We explained to her that Our company experience a lost of many information due to a system crash and the information of the original order had to be reentered into the system. The system is now back on line. However, we are experience some delay.  We are working day and night to get back on track.  [redacted] called and states she wanted a refund and then she called back to say she wanted the packages to be shipped and when she called to get a refund it set back the processing of the order this is why [redacted] had  not received his order as yet.  The packages was processing and send out on July **,2015 and will be delivered on July **,2015.  A credit of $20.00 was sent to [redacted].
We understand that apologize for the lost of time and that the credit can not make up for him not receiving his packages.  Thank you for you time and patience in this matter.

The system is now back on line. However, we are experience some delay.  We are working day and night to get back on track [redacted] refund is in the processing stage  she should receive her refund in 2 weeks after her bank process it.

difficulties our company was facing and if he was willing to wait for the order or should we issue a refund and we received no response.  We then later receive a call from a family member about his order and we explained to her about the problem and that it was now fixed she then in turned told us to send the package and we did so.  The Package was delivered and we received no further calls so we assumed the order was received. We do business with the New York State inmate Community which is third party.  There are times when the orders do not reach us until much later after the inmates give their order forms and request for approval by the facility and they assumed that we received those orders much soon than we do. In the package we have sent [redacted] a letter again apologizing for the situation and a credit for the delay.  Thank you for your time in this matter.     Sincerely, [redacted]

I do not recommend ordering products from this company. I placed a significant large order with them over a month ago to be shipped to an inmate and have not received my items. After several phone calls to the company I've been given the run around and poor excuses. I wasn't aware they are not part of the Revdex.com leading me to believe they are not trustworthy.

Revdex.com:Although I did not receive any emails from the business (as they claimed to have sent in their response to Revdex.com), I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

In the Nu Choice Packages catalog it clearly states that if you are a inmate making an order please place the DIN number next to your name (this number helps the officer to identify you because there are other people with the same names) this number was not clear. We also send out a letter notifying him that a product is out of stock this also took time for a response, Which we got no response. When the packages was returned we then became aware that the information was incorrect. We then research got the right information and send the package out at no extra cost. I am very sorry for the inconvenience but if we had the right information [redacted] would have receive his package sooner. Thank you for giving us this time to respond. Review: I submitted an order form along with payment via mail May **, 2015 for items(food package items) from company totaling $140.00 for a family member who is incarcerated in the Auburn Correctional Facility ([redacted] Din# [redacted]).Money order was made out to Nu Choice Packages with [redacted]'s info listed as the purchaser. The total for order being placed was for $150.00 due to a $10 credit owed by Nu Choice from a previous order that was placed and received in April 2015.On June [redacted] 2015 [redacted] called via a 3way call to company inquiring about order status.He spoke with a representative who stated they had some items that were out of stock such as Graham crackers(item ordered)but that they had received a shipmnt of goods and his package was being mailed out the following day June ** 2015.On June [redacted] 2015 I ([redacted]) called the company multiple times without a representative ever answering so I left a voice mail message at 1pm with my call back information as well as [redacted]'s inmate info inquiring about order status. On June [redacted] 2015 exactly 24hrs later I called again multiple times without a representative answering so I left another detailed message inquiring about order status.I never received a return call from company. June [redacted] 2015 I called and there was a disconnected phone number auto message. The phone number I have for the company is ###-###-####.To date [redacted] has not received his order or refund of monies submitted for items ordered as well as I haven't received any return call.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund to [redacted](as the money order was written out) of $140.00 along with the $10 credit in which he s due

Review: I ordered food for my husband who is incarcerated, where they advertise that they will send to inmates after you put in an order.She told me it would take two days which is now going on a month. I haven't placed an order yet, because I had some questions. I e-mailed and placed several calls to Nuchoice and still haven't heard back from them, although the recording states to leave your info and someone will get back to you....Never happened and neither will my order.

Review: My incarcerated father placed an order with this company back in July after weeks of not receiving the package, I contacted them via telephone. In our fist conversation, I was told that the reason the package wasn't delivered was because part of what was ordered, the company no longer carries. I requested that they sent what they did have of the package and issue a refund for the remainder. I was informed that this would be done. Weeks go by, still no package. I call them again, this time they told me the package was sent out for delivery but returned because they had the wrong ID number. I give them the correct number and they assure me that the package will be sent out as soon as possible. A week later, still no package so I drive to their location, I speak with a woman named Maxine and she tells me that she is on her way to their warehouse where she will be able to get a tracking number for the package and can see where exactly the package; she said that she would call me once she gets this information. The next day comes and she never contacted me to say anything. So, I drove over again. This time she's telling me that the system has been down and she was unable to retrieve a tracking number but she tells me that she is "certain" that the package went out for delivery. Five days later, I spoke to my dad and he still hadn't received a package. So I drive over to speak with Maxine again! She tells me that she has a tracking number and gives me this tracking number for a package that had been delivered on October [redacted], 2015 and it was November [redacted], 2015; when I tracked this package with the tracking number that she gave me, it said that this package was delivered in an entirely different city. Which I couldn't understand because if a package was delivered to a wrong address, why hadn't it been returned almost a month later and why would it take four months to receive a package that is being shipped from within one state?Desired Settlement: At this point, we would like a refund in full. Their customer service has been terrible and they are running this business from what seems as a shack with a store front that is never "open"telephones that are never answered, and the inconsistencies in their reasoning for why they aren't carrying business as they should just sucks.

Review: I placed an order with NuChoice packaging for my father incarcerated at upstate correctional facility [redacted] on July [redacted] 2015 it is now September [redacted]. I have made several attempts to check the status of my order and no response from this company. I spent 100.04$ and requested for my items to be delivered or a refund. I need this company to be contacted to find out why this package has not been delivered, my father is hungry and this is improper business etiquette.Desired Settlement: I would like confirmed delivery or refund.
