Review: Nu Choice is a food vender for N,Y, S, Inmates. 3 Months ago my son order food from Nu Choice that he has not received yet. I have called Nu Choice over and over again... most of the time they don't answer.When hey do they lie...I was told they don't have some of the food that my son in stock...I ok that was on a Tuesday I was told a shipments will be coming in Thursday and my son packages will be sent out that Monday... called Nu Choice Monday no answers.I called again on on Tuesday I was told something spilled in the package and the post office was sending it back...I waited for another week now Nu Choice phone is discontinued...I have no way to get in touch with Nu Choice... we spent close to 200.00 The order was made the end of March. On another date in May [redacted] called and states that she was the mother of [redacted] and had been moved to an facility and lost his packages privilege and if we could send the packages to him in June. We explained to her that Our company experience a lost of many information due to a system crash and the information of the original order had to be reentered into the system. The system is now back on line. However, we are experience some delay. We are working day and night to get back on track. [redacted] called and states she wanted a refund and then she called back to say she wanted the packages to be shipped and when she called to get a refund it set back the processing of the order this is why [redacted] had not received his order as yet. The packages was processing and send out on July **,2015 and will be delivered on July **,2015. A credit of $20.00 was sent to [redacted].

Review: I am an inmate at [redacted] in Ossinng, NY I submitted an order form and a check was sent to NU-CHOICE back in May. I received confirmation from facility accounts that my check and order was sent to Nu-Choice back in May. I never received my order of aprx $150.00. My wife has been trying to contact Nu-CHoice by phone, fax & mail...their phone#'s are not in service. I need my order delivered or a refund of my money. There are MANY inmates who have the same problem, it has been said that this company went out of business, and took our money! PLEASE HELP !Desired Settlement: Either immediate deliver of order or a full refund is requested.

Review: I ordered products from Nu Choice on 11/**/2015. I was never issued a confirmation email or contents generally therein (tracking number, etc.). I was, however, billed immediately. After several attempts to contact the business both via email and phone, I have received no response or clear resolution to this matter.Desired Settlement: Establish better communication with customers, or simply resign themselves in that they are not a very competent business, seeing as they have a number of Revdex.com complaints (which I didn't learn of until after the fact of ordering from them, unfortunately).

To Revdex.com:When we noticed the snyder chips was order by a customer and we were out of stock and those items was discontinued because of less demand we notified [redacted] at once by email. that the item which was ordered was not in stock and was discontinued and a full refund would be issued to his form of payment. Although I did not receive any emails from the business (as they claimed to have sent in their response to Revdex.com), I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Review: I placed a order with NU Choice online for $150.00 and over a month later still never received package. I tried calling their contact number several times and never get through to anyone, left messages. No one ever calls back. They don't any customer service and the package was never sent out but my credit card was charged the amount.Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: My husband made an order back in May 2015, he is currently in prison at [redacted]. I called and spoke to a women by the name of Maxine on 5/**/2015 @ 12:20PM and was told that she will be sending out his package on the next business day. Today is 7/**/2015 and my husband still has not received his package or his money back. I have called and left several messages and no return phone calls. I have also send out an email to the business and nothing. I am asking for your help.Desired Settlement: I am asking for my husbands money to be returned to him.

I do not recommend ordering products from this company. I placed a significant large order with them over a month ago to be shipped to an inmate and have not received my items. After several phone calls to the company I've been given the run around and poor excuses. I wasn't aware they are not part of the Revdex.com leading me to believe they are not trustworthy.

Review: On June [redacted] I placed an order for 40 packs of Grace Pepper Pot soups.

A total of $54US ($68.77CAN) was charged to my visa card for the product as well as shipping.

On June [redacted] I received an email from you advising that the product had been discontinued and that you would issue me a full refund.

To date (1 month later) I have not yet received that refund.

Could you please check your records and advise me when my refund will be processed?

Review: I ordered a package for an inmate on September **, **15.

As of October **,**15 The food package was NOT delievered. I contacted this company numerous times via email, and phone. I was promised on numerous occasions that the package would be delieverd on a certain date. I emailed this company and also called week after week about my situation. I stayed very polite and patient for my product. I called on Friday October**, **15 and also Monday October **, **15 and left a message, during normal business hours. My phone call was never returned. The website and employee (Maxine) stated products are sent within two weeks up purchase from them. She even sent me an email telling me when the package would arrive at the prison. I no longer want the package due the fact it took over a month for him to have and would like a refund of my hard earned money. Not one employee reached out to rectify my complaint. I have been competely ignored via phone call or email.Desired Settlement: $114.95

Review: Placed order for an individual in a correctional facility with company on may **, 2015. On June *, 2015 I contacted the company via telephone and was told that the package would be mailed out on that date and would be received in two days. To date the order was not received. Tried to call company numerous times and left voicemail. Called last week and their number was disconnected. Review: My husband is incarcerated and ordered a care package from this company over a month ago. They sent him his package weeks later with the incorrect name/din # on the package so the correctional facility returned the package to NuChoice unopened. My husbands name was clearly printed on the sales slip, check and envelope so there is no excuse for this error. I called NuChoice on 12/**/2014 and was told they received the package back due their error and they would be shipping the package out that same day. I called again today and was told this didn't happen and the package was mailed back to the correctional facility 4 days later on 1/*/2015 not 12/**/2014 as I was told. I've emailed this company asking for a tracking number and have received no response. When I called today I was told they could not give me a tracking number because their computers were down and they would call me back. I still have not received a call back and my husband still has not received his package. At this point in time, all we want is a full refund and to never do business with this company ever again.Desired Settlement: We want a full refund or the package to be delivered asap!! And to never do business with this company ever again.

In the Nu Choice Packages catalog it clearly states that if you are a inmate making an order please place the DIN number next to your name (this number helps the officer to identify you because there are other people with the same names) this number was not clear. We also send out a letter notifying him that a product is out of stock this also took time for a response, Which we got no response. When the packages was returned we then became aware that the information was incorrect. We then research got the right information and send the package out at no extra cost. I am very sorry for the inconvenience but if we had the right information [redacted] would have receive his package sooner. Thank you for giving us this time to respond.
