Please give us a call should you have any issues orcomcerns in the future. We will get you taken care of.

After seeing [redacted] response about not receiving her check for the referral I went and checked our records and mailed her out one immediately. We are very sorry it took us this long to get the $200.00 referral check. She should have received the payment by now. [redacted] will be getting into contact with her to check in and see if there are any further issues she may have with her roof and come out to do an inspection should there be any issues. He checked on it before and didn't notice anything but with our warranty program he can come out again if [redacted] needs him to so he can check on the roof and fix any issues she may have at this time. Again [redacted] we are sorry about the referral payment and hope you have received it by now and are fully taken care of.

The person responding to these are the owner of the company, Mr. [redacted] is only 50% owner. I own the other 50%.  Therefore, as I stated before, we will not issue a refund, but we will come and do a re-roof of the property and make sure it passes the city inspection. Due to this matter we also fired the crew that originally did the work since they didn't do it to our standards or city standards. We are trying to work with the homeowner to get this fixed and make sure they are happy with the work once it is re roofed. [redacted] was never involved and was extremely rude when he did contact me and speak with me directly. I never had a problem during the times I spoke with Mrs. [redacted] and have tried to reach out to see about when we can meet up and get this issues resolved with no feedback.  Wr we are wanting to get this matter resolved quickly and have her re roofed and pass insecption. Again we won't issue any refunds for this matter since we are wanting to do what's right and get her roof re done.

Our roofer will be out next week to take a look at the leak.

[redacted] has received and cashed her check for the $200.00 referral fee she hadn't received yet. I'll be in contact with her today to set up a time for my roofer to go out to her property and check on her concerns and fix the issues.

All the work completed was and paid for was agreed upon before the work was scheduled to start. We stared to the customer that since we are covering their deductible that we would use funds from minor work that didn't need to be repaired to ensure that all the roof was completed with a 10 year...

warranty. We made sure we were all agreed about the price and work being completed before all work started. Since the roof has been completed, we haven't heard anything back from the customer about any issues pertaining to the roof.

We need to reopen this complaint.  Had plans to address but the work has not been done yet. [redacted]

As stated in my 8/9/17 communication, I await NuRoofing's contact and I trust resolution...otherwise, on September 1, 2017, I will pursue other options.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Response rejected. The continued failure to understand, acknowledge or even address any of the real issues does not change the facts. There was no call received by NuRoofing to ###-###-#### or any conversations stating they would be coming out on 3/30/17 to install rather than 3/31/17 per the contract. Phone records show that no calls were received from NuRoofing to ###-###-#### at all between 3/24/17 and 4/28/17. There is nothing else that can be said about that subject.Interesting to note that if the purpose of this phantom phone call was to make sure the gate was unlocked and the animals were secured, why did they not call when they arrived at the house to find those things had not happened? Why did they instead break in to the gate and block the animals inside the house all day with no access to water and cause damage? The only purpose of the contact made by NuRoofing on 4/28/17 and the 7 minute call that was carefully documented was no more than finally the first act of compliance for submitting an itemized invoice that had been repeatedly requested from [redacted] by [redacted] beginning 4/7/17 as to aide in expediting the issues being looked into as requested by my mortgage and insurance companies. During this call, three different dollar amounts were verbally given. The remaining conversation that day was via email. I requested that an itemized invoice be sent showing the work they claimed to have done. I questioned the first invoice and they submitted a second. I questioned the second invoice and did not get a response.I did not agree to pay $4900. I agreed to review the invoice. I did not agree to call Katherine on Saturday or set up a time to meet. There was no discussion about warranty.Regarding the deductible, first of all, that was accounted for right off the top in the adjustment from the insurance company. Secondly, NuRoofing’s offer on 3/24/17 to cover the deductible was in exchange for leaving the NuRoofing sign in the front yard for 10 days. It was in the yard for 12 days, from 3/24/17 – 4/5/17. Between verbal statements, documents submitted to myself as well as my insurance company, there has now been five different totals or amounts due given from NuRoofing….IN ADDRESSING THE REAL ISSUES OF THIS COMPLAINT During the decision making process and contract signing on 3/24/17 including a complete visual walk through inspection with [redacted] and [redacted] on re-roof work to be performed were straight forward, acknowledged and agreed. Roof system was to be completed as allowed by insurance adjustment. Roof system to be completed following normal standard practices and requirements of city codes including retaining permit, these standards and the materials to be used were stressed by [redacted] dba NuRoofing that this is the way he performed all his work.Special arrangements made, known and agreed upon by myself, [redacted] and [redacted] during contract signing 3/24/17 for [redacted] to be present for the start date of re-roof to begin at 7am 3/31/17 for the specific purpose of securing two dogs, unlocking gate and doing a visual inspection of the materials to be used.Any and all issues have been fully known and aware of since the unauthorized start date without any notification on 3/30/17 when I came home from work to find workers at my home with roof 90% completed, my side gate lock popped, my two dogs forced inside the house and concrete blocks pulled up and stuffed thru dog door trapping them inside my home for the day with no access to water. On 3/31/17 with only the workers on my property, [redacted] refused to come to my home to direct his confused workers and give an explanation as promised.Again all issues are known when [redacted] met with roofing company owner [redacted] at the house on 4/5/17 for the purpose of an explanation of his actions, and his excuse for not performing the work as contracted or using even the minimum materials required for a re-roof for which he was claiming he did until proven different. The other damages discussed as well. [redacted] apologetically fully acknowledged his wrongdoing, and admittance with the deliberate intention of his misrepresentations, AND THE FAILURE OF NOTIFICATION WAS HIS MEANS TO DO SO. It was at this time and under these circumstances that [redacted] contacted the Grand Prairie Police Department for the purpose of discussing and issuing a CTW. Under the conditions and the deceitful intentions by [redacted], he accepted willfully [redacted]'s verbal warning that [redacted] or any affiliate of NuRoofing are not to be on property unless summoned, granted special permission and not without property owner supervision. All is agreed, and no officer was dispatched.Again all is known and aware of when roofing company owner [redacted]'s failure to appear at property on 4/20/17, but that did not stop the City of Grand Prairie's field inspector while looking into this matter, cited and failed re-roof job not meeting city code requirements, and roof job marked as "incomplete" upon final inspection. Also noting the re-roof permit wasn't pulled until 4/10/17, an interesting note made by the city and me as well considering the repeated requests that began on 4/7/17 for a copy of re-roof permit along with the itemized invoice to once again expedite these issues being looked into by all concerned parties. Shingle manufacturer has stated that no material warranty can be guaranteed for improper installation and not following standard installation recommendations. Conclusion of multiple inspections based on cost alone not to mention no warranty implied, that in order to restore workmanship and material warranty and meet the requirements per codes for the City of Grand Prairie, my roof must be completely torn off and re-roofed.I find it a concern for a "professional" business to even mention, discuss or any request of payment whether it be as to previous offers to reimburse money for work not performed as contracted, "ONLY after payment made in full before any issues can be addressed", or as is now being stated in this roofing company’s response to this issue as it now stands, of placing a lien if payment not made, for work that is "incomplete" and "re-work required" started over, seriously?[redacted] has repeatedly offered that once final payment has been made, the job can be closed as completed. Only at that time will they address problems and begin the process of reimbursement. NuRoofing should reimburse money paid up to this point by the insurance company. We do not accept paying additional money in order to be reimbursed. That’s absurd. Everything they have said up to this point has been a lie. Why would we believe now that we would ever see that money?Contact made with [redacted] on 5/5/17 made clear he has no intention to address or resolve. Supporting documentation to this complaint, and more detailed information if needed, including affidavit that has been filed is available to the Revdex.com. The Revdex.com is welcome to bring any qualified roofing contractor not affiliated with NuRoofing to my home to inspect the work performed by NuRoofing and the work they claim they did. Permission will be granted to [redacted] to be present during such inspection.
Regards,
[redacted]  [redacted]

We have read the response from [redacted] and we reject it due to the following,We did make a phone call to let the homeowner know about the roof installation coming a day earlier than originally agreed upon. We did have contact or try to contact [redacted] between the dates of 3/24-4/28/17. We have called them and had no answer and left numerous messages with unreturned responses. Once this claim was filed with the Revdex.com we were told of the items they were having problems with and we have tried to reach out and explain that we will re-roof her house and fix the lock on the back gate for her as she is under warranty with NU Roofing. We were never told of the dogs being shoved back into the house and baracaided in all day long while our workers were completing the repairs on her property. If that is in fact true, we are sorry about that particular situation.  When [redacted] and I spoke on the 28th of April, we discusses all the work that was NOT completed compared to the work that WAS completed and agreed upon the price where she then emailed me asking for a copy of the estimate and I sent to her per her request. She also stated before hanging up the phone that she would be in contact with me sometime on Saturday 4/29/17. I had her on speaker phone at the time where another associate was present during that conversation as a witness because of all the back and forth that was already going on with [redacted]. On Saturday 4/29/17, I received a call from an unknown number stating to be [redacted], whom I have never heard of, spoke to or was on any of the contracts or insurance claim information. During that call he was being aggressive and throwing insults before we were able to discuss any matter in regards to this issue. As we were speaking and he would get loud and yell over the phone, I would kindly ask him to lower his voice and allow me a minute to explain what's going on and figure out his relationship to this property, since he is not on the signed contract or the insurance paperwork. Since I was able to get him to calm down and allow me to speak about being aggressive, I told him since he is not on the contract or insurance paperwork we are not at liberty to discuss any of this private information with him since he isn't on our agreement. A few days later the same number called my sales associate being overly aggressive demanding a refund and my associate stated that we will not issue a refund, but we will fix your roof, the man hung up the phone at that time. As for the deductible being covered, yes it would have been covered if the sign would have stayed in the yard for 10 business days, however, the sign was only in the yard from 3/24-3/31. Once she became angry about us starting a day early, the sign was removed from the property, which resulted in voiding the agreement about covering the deducible since the sign was only in the yard for 8 days. During the signing of the agreement and setting up installation, [redacted] was no present nor did he sign any of the documents because [redacted] is the only signed name we have on file as well as with the insurance company. We were never aware of any calls to the GPD for a CTW on NU Roofing. We take the safety and well being of our employees and would never put them in a situation for that to occur or risk going to jail over a house that is not worth it. We have been in contact with the City of GP in regards to this issue and let them know we are waiting to hear back from [redacted] about coming out to fix the roof to be in city code standards and that we also wanted to be present during that inspection after the work was repaired. This way we can all be on the same page and get the same information at the same time. No going back and forth.  We want to resolve this issue buy setting up a time to re-roof the property and get it set to code so we can get this job behind us and everything is fixed to [redacted]s liking and meets all the standards for the city.  As for payment, we will have them sign an agreement that once we reroof the property and the city inspects it and passes inspection that we will then collect the final payment, where we will also give [redacted] a copy of the warranty for her roof.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because [redacted] has continuously provided untruthful responses. Although we are in receipt of the $500 and COPIES of the original paperwork because some original paperwork was kept in our possession and there are obvious reasons to know that what he sent in the mail is not the original paperwork. He also is not in a position to deduct anything that is due to us because he has failed to perform everything that was agreed upon in the contract and definitely should not state anything about a remaining balance as he wasn't supposed to get all of what he did take. His employees failed to clean up and [redacted] failed to go in the back and look at how they left things as well as he refused that date when he came to pick up materials to inspect the roof at that time. [redacted] is not an honest person at all. When he first came to our home to get the business we discussed the shed. He informed us that he could do the shed as it is confirmed and included on the contract. If we had discussed Home Depot or Lowes, there would not have been a reason for him to include building the shed on his contract! He obviously has forgotten the proof on the contract as well as when my daughter saw that he was dishonest, all her conversations became in track mode via texts and emails. There are text messages indicating where his shed person must be stuck in traffic as he is coming from Plano, etc.. When he finally came to pick up the materials he was asked again about the person and that's when he said he was ill. After he started conversations with my son and at another time with me, at that time he discussed Home Depot and Lowes because he obviously had run out of excuses for a person to come and build the shed. There was another bid prior to him coming where we would have been better to have selected the other company if we were going to build the shed via Lowes or Home Depot. As I mentioned in my original complaint, [redacted] saying that he would include the shed is the ONLY reason he won the bid.[redacted] did not perform any inspection at all. We can definitely confirm this as well through video from our home security cameras of each time that he arrived. [redacted] nor anyone else from his company performed an inspection. Also, he is not in compliance with the City of Dallas where he was supposed to have gotten a permit and he knows this is a requirement. As you see, he never mentioned anything about a permit in his response. [redacted] is also fraudulently advertising the Revdex.com logo on his truck and he is not accredited. I have read this in some of the other complaints and reviews as well. I hate that we did not check him before using him as there are tons of complaints on various sites including him not calling back.  Many of the complaints included their roof is leaking and he will not call back. This is why we are demanding the roof be inspected even if its other resources. In regards to his personal information which has been confirmed true, as consumers, we are entitled to know the background of who is coming to our home to perform services as well as it is public data! Just as any person makes a complaint, the purpose is to let people know what that individual or that company's background is and what they have failed to do. My daughter, son and I have all tried to work with [redacted] and his words were "do what you have to do" so we did what we had to do and we will continue to do what we have to do until this issue is resolved. His wife, Katherine called immediately to discuss the situation after that. It's a shame that he has no business sense and has one goal and that is to rip people off. We are 80 and 88 years old and this has become quite stressful to us as we should not be having to reach out to other organizations to get this man to do what he was hired to do. With my daughter and son's assistance who are professional and certified people, we will get this resolved even if it is deemed necessary to become a legal matter!
Regards,
