Good morning, I have looked over this complaint and have a few concerns about some misleading information. When we completed the roof on the property, we call ###-###-#### and disclosed that we would be out there to complete the roof and to make sure the gate is accessible for our roofers and...

any animals be put up for the day while we complete the roof. It was acknowledged and we began work the next day as agreed upon.  We did the work that we agreed upon and the items were did not complete, 30lb felt, gutters and the ice and water shield, were deducted from the original remaining balance of $5,885.00 to the new total of $4,900.00 which Mrs. [redacted] agreed to on our phone conversation on 4/28/17 @10:01am. During that phone conversation that lasted 7 minutes, we discussed how she was waiting to hear back from her mortgage company about the payment and the new balance due for the work completed on her property which we deducted the work that wasn't completed on the phone with Mrs. [redacted] and she agreed to the amount and she said she would print off the invoice requested and said she would bring it home and call me on Saturday to set up a time to pick up the remaining balance and give her the warranty on her roof.  Today I am reading her complaint and seeing issues that have never been brought up to us once. We will not issue ANY REFUNDS on this property since they have a warranty with NU Roofing, therefor any problems with the roof, lock on the gate, solar panel floodlight and the dog door we will take care of for them since they are under warranty and contract with our company. We have tried to call them on numerous occasions about getting payment, have had no call back or anything regarding all these issues she is disclosing. If Mrs. [redacted] would have informed us about the items listed, we would have already been out to get the replaced for her. We were going to initially cover her deducible for this job which was a total of $1,406.00 as long as the final payment was paid within 30 days, that time has came and gone. We are requesting to come out take a look at the damages listed, repair them and collect the final payment of $4900.00 by 5/5/2017. If we do not get a call back about this issue and resolve it then we will be placing a lien on the property for $6,306.00 which is the final balance plus deductible.  Please reach back out to us so we can fix the problems at hand and resolve this issue before needing to take further actions.

I am rejecting this response because:We reject company's response.Failure to show any proof that Nu Roofing has paid in full the subcontractors hired and directed by [redacted] owner of Nu Roofing used to perform work on my home 3/30/17 subjects homeowner to risk of lien for work performed not paid in full.

Our roofer will be reaching out to her to set up a time to come get the repair fixed this week for her.
Revdex.comMESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:On Wednesday, February 24, 2016 the business returned to the consumer's home and performed repairs to the roof; replaced shingles, added caulking around the vents.

I wasn't aware of any phone calls or messages. I will contact my sales team and get someone out there asap to address this issue.

I am rejecting this response because:  Not due  to the contractors fault, but on Friday the 2nd, there were extreme storms in the area and he could not come out.  I let him know of the storms at the house and we agreed to set up something for this week.  Corresponding with them right now to set up a new date to address the issue.  Just rejecting so that the complaint stays open until resolved.Regards,

Sorry about the delay. We are going to have someone come out Friday 6/2 @ 3pm and take a look and get you taken care of.

Yes I did get the referral fee but no call or visit to check the roof yet. So it is partially resolved.

I will contact a crew to come out and fix the shingles that have lifted up. I will be in contact with you by Wednesday to get this taken care of for you. Should you have any questions please contact me at [redacted] Office Manager at NU Roofing.

[redacted] Yes they did come out and repair the roof and secure other loose shingles. But no shingles were replaced. I am satisfied that they did come out and make the necessary repairs. They said they could not find any leaks at this time. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: For these issues to be resolved, the owner of the company needs to talk to me and then follow up. I would call him but he has a history of not responding for weeks or when he did respond and set a time(s) to meet... he fails to show up or call.

I am rejecting this response because:NuRoofing's response is self-serving and not correct.  They have had many opportunities over many months to...

respond to our calls, faxes, emails, and (refused) certified letters.  If he wants to contact me and resolve this matter, I stand ready to accept his initiative.  Otherwise, on September 1, 2017, I will pursue other options.
