[redacted] applied with us on June 20, 2016.  We funded her on June 27, 2016 for $525.  [redacted] requested an additional $2,000 less than 2 weeks later.  We declined her for addition funding due to the fact we did not want to overfund her case.  MS [redacted] called Oasis many...

times and she was upset that we were unable to provide her with additional funds.  We have reviewed her case since then and unfortunately we are not able to provide her with any additional funds at this time.

I have called this company numerous amounts of times regarding my current personal injury case and have yet to hear back from them. I think it is very unprofessional that nobody can return my emails, calls, or online chat request. Sad....I do not recommend this company being their customer service is garbage.

I submitted an application online for a small advance; called to follow up a week later, they said they never received it. I made another application over the phone.

Called again another week or so to follow up, this time I was told I was denied. Asked why, was told it was the underwriter's decision. Of course I, or the customer service rep, could not speak to underwriting. Asked why I wasn't notified by email, phone or mail, rep just repeated that application was denied.

Spoke to my attorney's office, was told Oasis never requested any info from them. I tried emailing and calling both their Director of Servicing and Chief Operations Officer to get some straight answers; was told they don't speak to clients. I then tried one last time to explain issue to this CSR, but it appeared she was using canned answers and talking in circles.

Very disappointing as I have used them before, but apparently things have changed and Oasis now values secrecy and sloppiness above all else.

Do NOT use this Oasis.

We have attempted several times to resolve the situation with MS [redacted] but...

unfortunately we are unable to assist her at this time. At no time was she unaware of the situation along the way. We have sent a certified letter explaining the situation to her.

We are sorry that MS [redacted] is not satisfied with the additional funds we provided her. The additional funds we provided her are based upon our conservative assessment of her legal claim as a protection measure for her. If the circumstances should change in her claim in the coming months she is welcome to reapply at that time

We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] had an issue but Oasis Financial does not do Auto...

Warranty coverage and we do not show him as a consumer of Oasis.

receipt of the funds.

My attorney told them to approve the funding I had requested. He told them I had requested additional funding numerous times 
I am rejecting this response because: My attorney told them to approve it. He told then I had requested additional funding numerous times over the past year and theye were all denied when they should've been approved. He told them I had, had numerous surgeries which makes my case go up in value with each additional surgery. So there was no reason the additional funding should have been denied. Also they were rude to me over the phone and said it's their decision not my attorneys

First off my first funding in May 2016 was faster and easier than my second time. I applied again per my Lawyer due to the fact I had to file for chapter 13 bankruptcy on my property , while out of work since December 2015 injured on duty. I've applied for the funding 1 week prior to end up getting the run around all the way to the point of the court date which my case manager Kassie would never answered or return calls. They stated I was approved pending my lawyer signing the paperwork he did and I never received funding. Only way I found out I was denied was calling them standing in court with an approved application from Oasis. Never people depend on a company like this when you are in dying need

I am surprised to read the negative reviews regarding response time, ect. I have had no choice but to borrow money from Oasis due to my inability to work after a serious car accident, subsequent major back surgery, and a lengthy nursing home/rehabilitation stay to learn to walk and function again. No one wants to have to borrow while waiting to settle and I was very apprehensive, but my back was against the wall due to a daughter starting college and I was looking for housing. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Oasis and have borrowed from them more than once. I have been able to contact them via phone and email and have never not been able to reach a live person or get the answers I was looking for, even if they weren't what I wanted to hear. I agree the interest rates are steep, but they don't try to hide that. If you are broke and waiting for a settlement, you and they are taking a risk so they need to protect themselves as well. I am and will be eternally grateful to them because I was literally penniless when I got my funding from them and I will never forget that they are the only ones during this entire nightmare that have come through for me. them almost the same thing I did. That I had, had numerous surgeries and applied numerous times over the last year and they keep denying me. He said I shouldn't have been denied funding bc each additional surgery raises the value of the case, so there is no reason why my funding should've been denied. Also they were kind of rude and told me over the phone that they make the decisions not my attorney.

I would like to take this opportunity to respond to the complaint that was brought forward by [redacted] regarding the advertising of Oasis Financial in Colorado.

Oasis Financial advertises nationally, that is why we have disclaimers in our ads and on our website where we do not offer our product. This point was made in [redacted] complaint (This company is advertising in Colorado and it specifically says on the bottom of the advertisement that this company does no fund Colorado and a few other state). We fully disclose what state we do not offer our product in so that consumers can know upfront and are not confused.
