They were excellent! On time, prompt and very nice! They were very quick with the move. Nothing was damaged. They helped tear down and put together all furniture and even help me decide where it went in the new place.
I've moved twice with Ocean Moving & Storage. Both times they were fast, communicative, and reasonably priced. Everyone I interacted with was kind and hard-working. Definitely recommended!
We had a great experience with Ocean Moving & Storage. We moved out of a 1 story 2 bedroom house to another 2 bedroom house. Both the moving day and a packing day were finished within the estimated time. The movers were quick and had no problem moving our "hard to handle" items - china cabinets, boxes with books and glassware, etc. Nothing was damaged during the move. And the team was very friendly, polite and easy to work with. We will call Ocean Moving & Storage next time we move.

Ocean Moving and Storage moved my belongings from Maine to North Carolina in August of 2015. It was my first experience with a moving company. I used the internet to locate a mover. Perhaps my first mistake. While I thought I was dealing with another company they turned out to be a broker. I have never written a review before but because of my poor experience I feel compelled to do so. In the end I had to submit a claim which included damage to
12 different items. in Addition a 6ft. fiber glass step ladder never made it. Because my wife and I were not arriving to NC until a later time I had a friend greet the truck upon arrival at the storage facility. There was no conversation with me regarding what was to be expected of us when our belongings arrived nor with my friend. They did not use the inventory check list to make sure everything arrived in good condition. They took no care to place delicate items in a safe place. Instead they piled heavy boxes on antiques and jammed things here and there without careful thought. The arm of an antique platform rocker was snapped off. It was not repairable. I put in a claim but was totally unsatisfied with the result. Short of hiring an attorney there was no recourse once they made there decision. I would not recommend using this company. I would recommend that you hire a company either from the town you are leaving or the one you are moving to.
If you need amazing moving experience, Ocean Moving & Storage would be the team to go for. They will not let you down but instead give you real value for your money. When my closest cousin told me so a few months back, I thought it was a joke. After the moving, however, I had renewal of mind because everything was so clear. Professional, fast, and friendly! This is what service is all about. The movers showed up exactly on time, wrapped and loaded my entire apartment . They started unloading before noon time at my new place. Noting got broken or damaged. These guys really know what they are going! Best moving experience I had so far. They were able to get my couch out of my apartment with little trouble when it took us four people to get it into the apartment in the first place! They took amazing care of our belongings. Ocean moving & storage did a phenomenal job with my cross country move. The rates were cheaper than others but quality and service was much better than any other company. They carried down all my belongings from the 3rd floor and again carried it to the 2nd floor. All this carrying, how do they get the energy? Anyways, the move went great. I have no complaints. The sales rep was very communicative and always answered to all my questions. They are a reliable moving company.

I had a great experience with Ocean Moving & Storage. The move was unique as I was moving from 2 locations to one apartment but they gave me correct estimate. The team came exactly on time, did a fantastic job of packing and transporting everything and moving in a new apartment! Very courteous, hard working and trustworthy team indeed. I will hire them again in a heartbeat.
Just moved again using this awesome company. The guys are so friendly and so on top of everything. From disassembling furniture, wrapping everything, packing everything,loading, unloading and putting back together, phenomenal!

Ocean moving & storage did everything right during the pickup but it was the delivery that impressed me more. They were super careful with moving things from the truck to my apartment and very good at listening to where I instructed them to put belongings. I am not looking for a lot in a moving company- just a fair price, good service and safe delivery of my belongings. Compared to the other companies, the price was pretty on point with these guys. Throw in the good service and careful handling of my belongings, and I am a happy camper!
This company is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. I called them months in advance for a quote of 1,099.00 for a move from Florida to Illinois. I had agreed to that quote, paid a deposit and signed the contract. I called them at several points up until the move to make sure I had given them all the information they needed and everything was set up properly. Every time I called and asked they said they had all of the information they needed from me.
The day of the move they showed up at 2130 when I was told they would be there from 1600-1800. When they finally showed up they told me it was going to be 2,014.00 for the move instead of the 1,099.00 I was originally told. They showed up with paperwork I had never seen (they claimed I had filled it out, I did not) and said that there was nothing they could do about the rate increase. I am not sure why they did not give me this paperwork they falsified when I made the initial call or any of the follow up calls.
It took them around 3-4 weeks to deliver my belongings and even that was a nightmare. They only sent one person to unload and move all of my things and it wasn't even a job well done. I watched this man crawl and walk on all of my things while trying to get them out of the truck. Not only that but I watched him slashing open boxes that belonged to other people and tossing their items out into the parking lot. When he finally got all of my items into my new apartment I noticed how badly beaten up all of my boxes/tubs were, not to mention my back desk legs were broken off (He claimed he picked it up that way but I believe it broke when he kept climbing and standing on them). He even cut my fiances desk when he was using a box cutter to remove the moving blankets they had taped to his desk.
Overall this experience was a complete and total nightmare from start to finish. They are a horrible sketchy business who cons people into using them and raises the prices when they have you over a barrel. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They should be put out of business.

This is one of the best moving companies I have ever used. They were efficient from the time that I called to arrange the move, until my last box was unloaded. There were no hidden or surprise cost. I felt like I knew exactly what I was going to have to pay

The guys who actually did all the heavy lifting were awesome! Shout out to those guys, they were machines! They really alleviated a lot of stress that comes with moving.
