Run don't walk away from them
Absolutely the worst ordering experience I have had in a long time. There were several warning signs that ignored and I lock myself for that.

I tried to call in an order and was transferred 3 times and eventually ended up in a voice mailbox

I then placed my order online and at checkout I selected my delivery date. When I received my reciept via email it had a large statement about delivery issues. They will try to be on time but it could be delayed etc... Basically telling you the delivery date you selected means nothing and now that they have your money your screwed.

Day of delivery arrives, I wait until 3::15 and email the address on reciept. Reciept dates use this email for fastest response "no response to date". I then call and ask about delivery and was told it would be delivered at 6pm. I state that is unacceptable because that will not givee time to put it away. The response from Ron was if I needed it today I should have ordered it yesterday? He also falls back on the legal verbage on the reciept and claims anything before 12am is the same day. I tell him to cancel the order.

I head off with the dog for walk and when I come back I see a Ohio Mulch truck in the alley. I go back and inquire why he is here when I canceled the order. The driver knows nothing, at this point I just wanted to be done with these guys so I accepted it. I ended up unloading 90% because the driver was complaining about how tired he was from romadon, not eating etc .

The following morning I wake up find another pallet of mulch sitting on the sidewalk blocking access to the apartment building. Wtf. I call Ron again and ask Wtf and he knows nothing. I ask when it will be picked up because it's blocking access. I also ask why the driver would not call, text or walk to the door and ask where to put the pallet, I could have told him it was a duplicate delivery. He no response and says he has to make a call and will call me back. Ron calls back and states they can't come back to pick it up until 4pm. I tell his that's unacceptable as it's blocking access.

I break it off the pallet and stack it out of the way because I have zero faith in anything Ron says at this point. Needless to say 4pm comes and goes with no pickup, call or email.

The following morning I wake up and find the mulch still there and call Ron. He has no idea why the mulch was not picked up yesterday at 4pm and immediately put me on hold.

At this point I hung up and went out back and placed a sign on the pallet

They finally showed up later that afternoon, not sure how much was left for them

Horrible customer service

I was supposed to have a delivery on Saturday, never showed up Called Sunday morning, said they had a truck break down(which is most likely a lie, it appears to be their excuse based on other negative reviews on *** and [redacted] ) and it was on its way and would be there before noon Never showed up again So I tried calling again, btw, its nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone, the phone rings and rings and eventually gets bounced to another location who says they cant help because they aren't the correct location The mulch was finally delivered Monday afternoon, but I received two different types of product when I only ordered one What a mess, I was told "Ron F*" was going to contact me to help resolve my issue, another empty promise

I placed my order on 5/via the Ohio Mulch mobile site I specified a delivery date of 5/ It did not go through to the company so they called to confirm the date I returned their call on 5/ They indicated they could not deliver on 5/25, but could deliver the morning of 5/ I agreed that was OK Mid-morning on 5/Ohio Mulch called to tell me they did not have any product to deliver to me and they would need "a couple days" to make and deliver the mulch I said that was OK On 5/I called after not hearing from them in days to inquire about the delivery They were unsure when the product would be in from a manufacturing plant in [redacted] I then indicated I didn't have time to wait and requested an order cancellation and refund They indicated they would cancel my order and I would receive a refund On 6/9, after not receiving a refund, I called their [redacted] location to inquire I was informed they do not issue refunds at that location, despite that bei

This company recently had a fantastic promotion for a particular kind of mulch - $a bag and $for delivery If it sounds too good to be true - it is We ordered our mulch on April 24, paid and was given a delivery date of May May - no mulch Upon contacting the company the receptionist told us they had "sold out" of whatever mulch we bought and had no idea when we would be receiving the product Left a message with the Director of Retail Sales to please call usRon F [redacted] or [redacted]  as he called himself in the email told us to call him and he would walk us through the delivery process I didn't need walked through the process - it's simple enough I buy the product and you delivery it on said day Apparently not at Ohio MulchI understand a lot of people took advantage of this promotion At what point did Ohio Mulch realize they had more demand than supply? Certainly before my delivery date How about a simple phone call and offer of a refund? No, I had to do it all on my own with little or no help from "Frosty" who has yet to call usWe cancelled the order and are waiting on a refund - so this may turn into a complaint rather than a review Very disappointed at customer service and the entire promotion that is not available

I placed an order online on April the 14th for a delivery of mulchI requested to have the mulch delivered on April 27thI received an email confirmation of my order and it stated that the delivery date is not guaranteed however they would contact me with delivery informationI have not heard from Ohio Mulch concerning my deliveryI contacted Ohio Mulch headquarters who informed me they cannot look at online orders and transferred my call to a person named M***I spoke with M [redacted] and he took my order number and said he would return my call once he tracked down my orderI have not heard back from M***I called the headquarters again and they informed me that they could not help meThey transferred me to M***'s number again which went to a voicemail which was full

This place is ridiculousWe were supposed to have mulch delivered yesterday afternoonIt never showed and we have had zero communication from the company about itNo word on when it may arrive, no apology, nothingWhen you try to call the Riverside location, they hang up on you or transferred to some satellite locationWe requested to speak to the Riverside manager, Ron F [redacted] and were transferred to their Delaware satellite store who then gave a wrong numberWe are disputing this purchase with our credit card company and may need to file a dispute with Revdex.com if we are not reimbursedThey should not have an A+ rating

My experience dealing with Ohio Mulch was very poor I ordered online on May , scheduled my delivery for Saturday, June, was called to reschedule on Thursday, May (reason stated: trucks out of commission for servicing) I rescheduled the delivery to Wednesday, June -- arrived home around 4pm and found the delivery still hadn't been made I called Ohio Mulch, sat on the phone for about minutes as they were unable to find my order Once they did, they said, "it's on the next truck out...might be there kind of late." "When?" I asked "Maybe after-hours" "What does that mean?" I ask "We close at 7," says the voice on the other end By 830pm, still no delivery, so I called and left a voicemail canceling the delivery The next morning, I receive a call that my order had been delivered Moral of the story: don't expect a timely delivery on the day you want it I've heard this problem is common with their scheduling The positive of the whole scenario: they gave me the correct amount of topsoil, so I was content with that

I went to the Roberts Rd location this weekend and after being directed in by an employee and dumping my grass clippings I was told that I had to pay $as I tried to leaveThere are no signs anywhere that let you know this before entering and the employee never said anything about it when telling me I had to scale inI tried to talk to someone about it and was told "I don't know what to tell you, it's been like that for months" and then they walked awayI have been to this location times already this year and was not charged once, so it has not been like that for monthsHad I known it was going to cost me $to dump can of grass clippings I would have turned around and leftI was not given that choice and feel like I was forced to pay in order to leaveI now also regret my multiple purchases ( bulk gravel, bulk top soil, and bagged mulch) that I have made already this season and will not return again

The week of August 12, Montgomery Ohio Mulch (*** *** *** *** ***) delivered a bulk quantity of wood chips (their “Playground Mulch” product) to my home in ***, Ohio The purchase order, as reflected on their Delivery Ticket, was for cubic yards at $29.95/cuyd The total charge, including taxes and delivery charge, was $ The delivery was made using a standard 2-3-axle truck with a dump bed
When the material was being dumped I noticed that the truck was far from full After the material was dumped on my driveway it was clear that it was far short of the cubic yards ordered I asked the driver if they were going to deliver additional material and he replied, “no that’s yards”, handed me the delivery ticket, quickly climbed back into the delivery truck and drove away
A quick and rough measurement of the pile of chips indicted a quantity less than cubic yards At that point I decided to measure the quantity of chips as they were
