We have communicated with the selling agentOn September 3rd, they sent the customer a check in the amount of $As of September 4th, they have been waiting for the customer to send in proof of the late fees (so that they can issue a refund for the rest of the money she is requesting)

Mr***' contract has been cancelled as he requested and the refund has been processedEverything was done according to procedure by our claims departmentThe customer's shop first called in on 9-26-16, and we asked for tear down authorizationAn inspection was ordered 10-7-16, once the shop completed the tear downThe inspection was back to us on 10-11-As we indicated in our previous response, Mr***' claim on his transfer case was denied for long-term failure which caused a lack of lubrication. Gelling of the transfer case fluid lead to failureBasically, it was ran low on fluid and the residual fluid hardened and destroyed the transfer caseOur claims department spoke to the customer and advised him that the pictures from the inspection report clearly show the long term leak that caused this failureHis policy has been canceled and his refund has been processed

DO NOT do business with this companyThey call you out of the blue with all your information and car's informationThey tell you they can get you a low rate for extended car warrantyThey tell you that they only require a 30day waiting period no car inspections neededThey also charge you $down payment for a coverage that doesn't start right awayThey make you wait days but don't tell you to drive miles before claims or repairs are considered preexistingIf you do business with them make sure you are past the day mark and have driven the car milesThis is a warning to all out there with expensive older cars that are past all manufacturers warrantiesMy coverage has still not kicked in and I have already paid them the down payment of $and the first payment of $The total coverage for years is over $4,I took my car in to get it looked at because the light came onThe dealer tacked on so many charges that now I have $9,worth of charges that are considered preexisting according to OmegaI frankly cannot afford to continue to pay for this coverage and simultaneously pay for the repairs on my vehicle out of pocketI am now considering getting rid of my vehicle by either selling or trading it inThey also only give you days to cancel for a full refund after that, you get a prorated amount less $cancellation feeBUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Called this company to cancel the agreement because I had chosen another company that had a less expensive monthly payment, I cancelled it before the warranty kicked in (1000miles/30days) . Its not easy to do so, a what I though was gonna be 5 minute call turned out to be a 30 minute talk, they wont let you cancel easily , they would talk and talk and talk so good about a company who's only reviews only talk about how hard it's to cancel their policy. I wish I would had look more deep into this company before I made my initial call. To everyone out there reading this review please not that my complaint its only about cancellation issue NOT about their services. The representative told me he was going to cancel my policy, I hope he does so and also hope to get my half portion of the downpayment paid back.
When I called for the first time which by the way I felt very pushed, it was insane how many times the guy mentioned the types of payments they receive, he mentioned it like 5 times during the call after he would make up a random point, I should had know better to just hangup on that second. Terrible, horrifying experienced, if would had just not pay it monthly I could had save me the time it took me to call them and cancel it but they had my debit card information so I was not going to risk it, im sure they would had charged me every penny from it if I was to just let it go.

We are cancelling your policy as of December 30th, 2014 (which is when you said that you first sent in the cancellation paperwork).  Your pro-rated refund check will be sent out this Friday (11/20/2015) in the amount of $1,111.19.
We cannot issue a full refund because you had your policy since 4/17/2013 and did not send cancellation paperwork until 12/30/2014.
We apologize that you have to wait this long to receive your refund, but that was because you had sent the paperwork to the incorrect company and we did not receive it until just recently.
Also, if you did not receive the policy book/ID card for some reason, you should have notified us or Auto Protection Department, and we would have immediately resent that information to you. However, our records show that this information was sent and delivered to you twice - once on 4/25/2013 and again on 4/29/2013.
We hope that you will be satisfied with this refund, as it seems to us to be the most fair resolution of your complaint.  As I stated before, if you would like to discuss this over the phone with a representative, we can be reached at ###-###-####.

This contract has been canceled and the refund is being processed. The customer will be receiving a pro-rated refund soon.  She originally sent the cancel request to the incorrect administrator, EFG Companies, and that is why we did not receive her cancellation...

request until very recently.
We apologize that she had to wait this long, but we were not aware of her cancellation request.  Her policy will be canceled as of December 30th, 2014.

I apologize for the customer’s frustration, the broker’s office hadn’t heard from Ms. [redacted] since she set up the policy originally, so when we received the payment agreement back without an accompanying letter, we thought there was an error....

The policy has already been cancelled with the billing company, so no additional funds will be coming out of her account.
A refund is currently being processed and will be mailed to Ms. [redacted] as soon as possible. The check number is 2023. The amount of the check is $485.78, and should be sent out this afternoon.

  We are very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience using your Omega Auto Care policy. We have reviewed your claim and have found that it was denied correctly. This was determined to be a preexisting condition by the inspection report that was completed on...

1/5/2017. The inspector reported that there was CONVERTER CLUTCH FAILURE WITH SUB DAMAGE TO THE CLUTCH PACKS DUE TO DEBRIS CONTAMINATION IN THE VALVE BODY CAUSING A PSI LOSS. This was determined to be preexisting since this kind of damage only happens over a long period of time. Since the failure was reported only 15 days out of the validation period, it would have started occurring before the policy was purchased. We cannot offer a full refund of this policy, since you had it longer than the allowed 30 days (the time window for receiving a full refund). However, we will make sure that your pro-rated refund is sent to you as quickly as possible and we are in contact with the company that sold you the policy to make sure that they get you this refund in a timely manner. We are sincerely sorry that this policy did not work out for you, but we always strive to treat all of our customers fairly and according to the terms of the agreement.
