This company preys upon the elderlyI purchased a Goodman unit that ALL others sell from $to $The going price $During installation they broke my main water pipe and flooded my garageTrying to stop it they said nothing and shut off neighbors water which is near my water main It was inevitable the way he was pulling out the old AC pipe in the same shroud without removing the cover To be fair they did fix the pipe after taking off the shroudThis was after they had charged me $more than the going priceTo add insult to injury six months later in December I tried to use the heatThe unit would not switch overThey guarantee one year labor and the manufacturer guarantees years parts on the unit Only six months later the tech determined that the thermostat was at fault The thermostat was my own, it has wifi and is expensive, worked fine with the old unit and when I returned it for free repairs with the manufacture they determined it is compatible with the new unit They never said what was wrong with itHowever they sent it back and is now working with the unitI can only guess that One hour either installed it incorrectly or shorted it out when installing the unit The day the tech determined that thermostat was at fault he put in a standard replacementHe tried to bill me $for a thermostat that sells for $under $I told him to give me a lonerThey don't do that he saidI told him I never got a thermostat when they installed itHe said you didn't pay for itI said $doesn't pay for a thermostat? Pulling out the original paperwork I showed him that it says on the purchase order thermostatHe conceded and left me one while mine was being repaired The actual techs seem knowledgeable.I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy unless you have money to throw away

This business received a complaint from me because of their dishonestyThey immediately diagnosed problems that did not exist as shown by the crew that came out from the company that originally installed the systemThey checked EVERYTHINGThey found nothing wrong except a breaker on the interior unit which was off (And for all I know may have ben turned off by AirWise)They charged me $service chargeMy insurance company reimbursed me after I explained the attempted scamI am yrs old recovering from hip surgeryAirWise saw an opportunity to take advantageThey also recommended I get a new systemThey are not honest and have no integrity I have no wish to continue an argument with these type individualsThe problem they caused me was allowing me a heart patient to go three days without air in this heat

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint 1) One Hour heatng & Air was notified of the mess that their technician left in my house on the day it happened within minutes of the tech leaving my home Two phone calls were placedOn the third transfer of the first call, I was disconnected One the second, the call was disconnected on the 2nd transfer Since the problems were explained to multiple people, I assumed it would be handled but never received any responses or call backs 2) One Hour Heating & Air's employees in no way showed good customer service, did not go above & beyond or made any effort to help resolve any problems or issues with the AC They refused to do anything to clear the drain on the unit Mr [redacted] was rude, condescending and did not know what he was doingHe was actually asked to leave my home twice early on in his time on my property but would not do so Instead he wound up doing more harm than good 3) As of yesterday morning and the conversation with ***, no one had offered to replace the PVC drain at One Hour's cost I offered to pay to for the job just to get it done and that was the sum of that conversation This offer was also a complete turnaround from the techs who said they were not going to touch the drain Plumber & AC Update Plumber - The black stack pipe is and has not been clogged at any point in time AC Update - Second opinion revealed that [redacted] should never had attempted to clean any portion of the coils and he did not do anything but clean a small portion The method that he used, wire brush, was incorrect and he compounded any problems that may have been starting to occur and did more harm than good The drain has been cleared for now & did have large chunks of black crud in it from M [redacted] lack of cleaning up the inside of the unitIt was a fairly easy fix that would have taken either one of the techs just a few minutes The unit is old and the coils are too compromised to clean Final Note - I have used this company for many years with my ex-husband and used them last year The prior experiences were all good and there was never any problems I find it inexcusable that this company can not admit that their tech, [redacted] , did only part of what he was paid to do, did it incorrectly and do not think that anything is wrong with his demeanor and how he treated meNone of this is or was acceptable This claim was not filed lightly It was filed because this company made too many veiled and outright remarks that I had done something wrong or was lying about the events I did not ask them for anything or restitution in regards to the messes that I cleaned up or the ongoing problems from that first visit My only request was for them to fix the problem that [redacted] had caused through his ineptitude and lack of knowledge I have now paid AC companies and a plumber only to find out that One Hour Heating & Air's diagnosis of the issue was incorrect And all of this because of a tech who did not know what he was doing, did not do what he was paid for which then compounded issues with the AC unit and does not know what customer service is Regards, [redacted]

This company couldn't make enough money to just check things out charge a service fee and leaveThey supposedly "diagnosed" all these problems which was a joke as clearly shown by the HONEST company that actually got my air conditioner onFacts are very stubborn thingsYou can argue your position but the facts remainI did not need a coil clean and even if I had it could have been done in place saving that $for replacement freon plus the $service feeI paid $and didn't require any other work as previously explainedAlso and here's the real rub - I didn't need a new $(low estimate) system they were suggestingSo I would suggest the next time they come across an old lady with a walking cane they not judge the book by its cover

Technician Antwain [redacted] was very professional and helpful when installing my igniter switch to my heater unitHe explained everything in detail and explained what he was doingHe also suggested with the age of the unit (yrs) he suggested getting it replaced, gave me some suggested prices and recommendationsHe was totally professional from the time he arrived to the time he left

Hello Ms [redacted] I am the VP of Hallmark One Hour Sorry for the misunderstanding If you called us about this error and my people didn't respond correctly I would like to know it We will be contacting you directly So still all the same people that work here and yes we are owned by Direct Energy This happened in so it's been a while since we joined together We started a new maintenance program last year that is centralized and our person must not have understood your requirements or entered it correctly Certainly didn't communicate where you understood what was going to happen so you could change it back then I appreciate you bringing this to my attention We now have one central location that handles our maintenance agreements all across the US and is manage through Direct Energy We will contact you shortly

I can't even verbalize how upset we are with this "company"Every phone call is a sales pitch for their monthly serviceplansWe had them come out in June to do a diagnostic and then paid almost $for a replacement partThe A/C worked for all of 2-weeksThe same things started happening and it stopped workingThey refuse to cooperate with us and actually fix the a/cAll we asked was to pay 1/of the "rescue rate" to come out and actually do a full diagnostic and fix it instead of just looking at the first sign of a problemMy husband has been on the phone with them for about an hour and nothing has been resolvedThe first person we talked to put him on hold for over mintuesWe called right back and explained the situation AGAINThe lady who answered said she knew who we were talking to and proceeded to put us on hold againThe last person we talked to gave us a run around and then HUNG UP on usThis is a very unprofessional companyAll they have done is take our money and leave us with no home to stay in (mind you we have a 9month old baby, I am weeks pregnant and a pup)! Beyond disappointed by One Hour AirI would leave negative stars if I could on the count of they never fixed the issue and want to charge us more money just to look at it againWhy would we pay more money so they can look at it and still have the same problem in a month!!!!!!!!!
