I had my A/C and furnace replaced by One Source in 2019 and as part of the bundle included a maintenance service plan, warranty and a lot more. They have always been quick to respond, friendly and knowledgeable about everything that I need to keep my system running smoothly. Ridge, Brandon and the Sales team did a great job helping me to get exactly what I needed to stay cool or warm throughout the year. They go above and beyond in every aspect and the appreciation of good work deserves commendation.

Layla, thank you so much for allowing our company to provide services for you and your family. Please keep us in mind for any future HVAC, plumbing, electrical and drain needs. We proudly provide 24/7 service 365 days out of the year. We are here for all your home needs

Ridge is the first individual that came to our home to service our AC. He discovered problems with out 17 year old system. He proceeded to give us 3 estimates. The estimates provided convinced us that we needed a whole new system: AC and Furnace pus other items. Dustin the manager dropped the price, from the original estimate, after talking to him. the installs were done today by Tyler and Chris, they arrived on time and were completed within the time they said it would take for completion. I have nothing but Kudos for all the individuals that came to our house. Ridge, Tyler, Chris, Red were very professional and courteous making sure I understood everything that had been done. I would recommend this company 100+%. great company with great employees!!!!

We purchased furnace & installation from *** Colo Springs on 11/30/2015. On a followup checkup on 3/19/2019 Heat Depot/One Source talked us into purchasing a maintenance contract for $1,000. This was 10 years transferable and included our furnace and air conditioner. Invoice # ***. One Source address is *** Colo Springs.
We have seen One Source one time. Upon calling One Source, we were informed they sold out to *** in the Denver area.
On 6/16/2020 Brandon from *** returned our call and informed us that *** purchased the assets but not the liabilities. He also stated that One Source still owns all warranties. *** was not even given any customer phone numbers or customer contracts.
As One Source only showed up once and our contract was for 10 years ($100/year), we feel One Source owes us a minimum of $900.

Hired One Source to come out and fix a problem with the toilet. They scheduled a 4 hour window to come and do the work but did not show up till an hour after the four hour window had past. They found that there were roots in our sewer line. They gave us two options to hydro jet the line with a 2 year warranty or replace the line. We did not have the funds to replace the line so we decided to hydro jet it. This was done at the end of February of 2020, we had an inspector check the the line at the end of June of the same year and found some roots.
At this point we called One Source and asked them to come and clean out the sewer again. They agreed, but when they came out to clean the sewer again and told us that they would clean the pipes that day but after that they would not honor the two year warranty they gave us 4 months earlier.
I would never use this company again.

Good afternoon Heather. I greatly appreciate the feedback pertaining to our services. It has been a pleasure working with you and your family and do apologize we were not able to satisfy your needs at this time. Sewer lines are a necessity for the health of our home and our families and with the materials used tend to degrade over time. By performing the hydro jet the life may be extended. Annual preventative maintenance is also suggested if the line is deemed in good health. If the line has already been compromised, unfortunately the only other solution would be replacement to ensure the overall health and continued functionality of the sewer line.

I am having problems with my swamp cooler. One Source Home Service was hired to fix it. They did not fix it and charged me $90. I was a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the United States Navy. I know more about pumps and heating and cooling than the guys that they sent here to fix it. I was pretty sure that it was electrical problem since the pump was tripping the breaker. They assured me that it was a pump problem which I replaced. It did not fix the problem when I asked for a refund, they outright refused.

Called for a free inspection of sewer line. During inspection, was told that camera would not extend beyond a damaged part of line beneath concrete driveway. Recommended excavating a small hole in driveway to hopefully make repair and clean roots out of system at a minimal cost of over $6000, If more damage revealed after initial excavation, a further excavation of the entire driveway might be needed at a total cost of about $10,000.
Decided to call for a second opinion from *** On initial inspection, they stated that it appeared very possible that merely "HydroScrubbing" the sewer line would be sufficient and that, should a repair require excavation, they would only charge a little over $4000. As it turned out, the scrubbing removed 98% of the roots clogging the system and revealed only minor damage in the line which will eventually require excavation/replacement but should be fine for quite a while. Their cost for the service plus inspection of all house plumbing system and membership in their on-going service plan came to less than $500 saving us at least $5,500.
I highly recommend getting a second opinion for any service these folks try to sell you and suggest that *** would be hard to beat.

Had One Source service our a/c. Tech said we needed 2 motors+ + + for a total of over $2000. The a/c is less than 10 years old. Just had another company look at the system and he said there is nothing wrong with the system and that it was blowing 53 degree air. He said to change filter in the furnance and we are good to go. I do not recommend One Source

Hi Brenda, thank you for your feedback. We are happy that you were able to find a company that meet your family and home needs, and advised their opinion about your system that match your needs, and we understand that we are not the right company for everyone. This is why our clients have 85% fewer breakdowns during the peak seasons…due to the fact that our service experts will recommend replacing a single part before it has completely “gone bad”, or caused further damage to other components. Thank you so much for the opportunity to serve you. Best Wishes, One Source Home Service

Receivers a flier from this business. Called and scheduled visit for estimate and possible repair. Was sent a text confirming agreed upon window of arrival. Not only did they not show, I never even received a call explaining the reason why. I had to contact them to voice my frustration. Their solution: RESCHEDULE! Wow!

Thank you so much for providing the opportunity, and a member on our management team will be reaching out. Best Wishes, One Source Home Service

Great service. Decided to replace my 18 yr old HVAC system. Was able to get a quick install date scheduled. The install took about 6 hours and the inspections went without any issues. Price is around the same as some other estimates but One Source had a crew clean my ducts as well and gave me a 3 year service membership with install. Not too shabby.

Thank you so much for your review, Wayson! Great that we were able to get a new HVAC system in your home and clean your ducts to give you better air quality. Our experts love to provide a smooth process along with great customer service. Thank you for choosing us to be your home service provider, and welcome to One Source Home Service!

Scheduled a Furnace/AC checkup. Within 5 minutes, I was asked when was the last time I had the air quality in our home checked. Fast forward 3 hrs….A list of about 6 items we should consider (nothing really broken) fixing to extend the life of our 12 year old systems.… to the tune of thousands of dollars. Technician seemed knowledgeable, but just seemed like his main purpose was getting us to spend $$$ that we really didn't need.
Would not recommend.

We have a full maintenance program. Twice a year One Source will schedule appointments to inspect the plumbing, heating, A/C and electrical systems. They are very punctual and courteous and respectful of our home during each visit. We are very pleased with the services that they provide.

Been getting Bi-annual furnace/AC inspections and tune ups for about a year and a half from OneSource after they acquired ***. Technicians are friendly and the reports are pretty thorough. Satisfied with company

It's a pity that I can't give this company 0 stars.
Recently, a technician from One Source came to perform a quarterly check-up on my AC. I did not follow the tech around while he was checking things out; I don’t feel like a professional would want someone who knows nothing (me) hanging off their shoulder. After about twenty minutes, the tech came to me and said the following:
1. My AC was leaking.
2. My ‘antiquated’ AC was using an older fluid that could no longer be purchased.
3. The evaluation could not continue because of that fluid leak.
4. I could not simply have one part replaced because the system used the old fluid; the entire system would have to be replaced immediately.
5. The tech. tentatively quoted a $5k - $6k price tag for that replacement.
Needless to say, I was alarmed. Five or six times, I told the tech that I needed time to communicate with all involved parties (I am not the only person living in my house) and that I wasn’t prepared to invest that much money in something that I consider to be a luxury. Despite that, the tech kept pushing, repeatedly telling me that I, “Had to get [the system] out of there immediately.” I felt a great deal of pressure, as if the tech was attempting to make a ‘hard sell’ or was simply interested in money. However, I did finally get the tech to leave.
Two days later, I got a second opinion. I called my real-estate agent, whom I trust, and he recommended an AC tech that he has used hundreds of times in the past. The new tech came by and told me:
1. There was no leak.
2. If there had been a leak, he could simply replace the part because –
3. My system does not run on the fluid One Source said it ran on, and he pointed out the bright pink sticker on the side of the unit that spells out exactly what is used. In fact, I could not have purchased the house if the old fluid had been present in my system!
4. He would not have to replace the entire system, and probably wouldn’t even need to replace a part, but should that have been necessary, it wouldn’t have cost more than $3k for a full system, or a few hundred for a part and installation.
My primary concern is that the tech from One Source identified the wrong fluid in my system. I take that to mean that their technician was either incompetent or trying to con me. He also lied about there being a leak, and was ham-fistedly pushy with his sales technique. In fact, I now feel that they sign people up for check-ups solely for the purpose of fabricating problems that they can charge to fix. I am happy that I was able to dodge One Source’s con, but I am angry that the attempt was made. It makes me wonder if they gouged me when they replaced the blower and ignitor on my system. Regardless, I will not be using their services again, and I would encourage everyone else to avoid them as well.

Thank you for your feedback, Tyler. Our Customer Service and HVAC manager would love to speak to you about your experience. We do see that it was offered to have a manager speak with you when we called on March 26, 2020 to see how the appointment went, and you declined. From the call it seems this was not the feedback you provided us during the follow up, so we would love to have a chance to speak with you about your experience, there's always an opportunity for our experts to grow and learn through customer communication and feedback.
Thank you so much, and best wishes, One Source Home Service Team

On 11/1/19, our furnace stopped working. My then-manager contacted One Source to have it evaluated and repaired. We had a bit of trouble communicating that day, as the technician was quite late, and when she called the home base to find out if he was coming, the staff member she reached told her that the company does not service furnaces, and didn't know what she was talking about when she referenced an appointment. That was the first sign that something was off. Right after this phone call, however, the technician called, apologized for running late, and said he'd be right there, so we let him come. He went down and looked at the furnace, I think turned part of it off and on again, and pronounced it mostly fixed, but said he'd be back with his boss later to look at it, as he was unsure about what to do. He said we'd receive an invoice for the visit later that afternoon. The invoice never came, he never returned, and several days later, the furnace went out again. This time, we called a different company ***), whose technician said the problem was just inadequate filter changes and too much debris in the ducts (I run a vet clinic; apparently the dog hair was accumulating too much. ;) ). We changed the filter and hired someone to clean the ducts (I have receipts from both services), and the furnace has been running fine ever since. Now, nearly five months after this interaction, One Source just sent us a bill for over $600, claiming that they replaced a gas valve on 11/1. They did no such thing, and some of the signatures on the documents they sent us appear to be fraudulent attempts to mimic my former manager's handwriting.

One Source Home Service Response • Mar 26, 2020

Good Morning Jennifer,

Spoke with Ilissa on Monday who is still the manager.

The invoice is still due- attached is the invoice, SIGNED job completion form of the valve, and phone call.

After playing the phone call for your manager, Illissa, who incorrectly said, in writing, that the manager was listening to calls (2 other division managers were in the room listening to the call as well), the manager ONLY played her call for her and stated multiple times that she is trying to find the call so she can assist her and when she did and stated what Ilissa was saying on the call – Ilissa got upset and stated to the manager “I don’t care about the call, figure out a resolution and call me back” and rudely hung up on the manager. A mistake was made on HPAS managers end, and there’s proof that it was, and unfortunately, it is not One Source responsibility to waive the bill for the customers mistake

-Illisa stated on the phone she called a number that is NOT connected to our company and has never been - she called the wrong company and unfortunately, that is not One Source fault.

-Ilissa stated on the call a receptionist name Amanda - One Source has never had an employee in our CALL CENTER name Amanda

-Ilissa stated on the call that Amanda told her she has the wrong company and they are a cleaning company, and can’t find an account.

-Our technician (who you can hear is confused about what she is saying) advised her of our number 719-532-9000 - We are not sure why she didn't note the correct number and continuously called the wrong number -

We even called that number Monday that she stated on the call and the lady said she is a bridal company and she use to get a lot of wrong calls from someone and wasn't sure why.

Unfortunately Jennifer, this is not a mistake that the One Source team caused, are not making exceptions to waiving the bill due to us NOT having knowledge of the furnace not working still per your manager, Ilissa’s email. We weren't notified of this information until we reached out about the invoice and Ilissa emailed a message on our website advising the furnace didn't work and they had another company come out. There are over 1500 reviews about One Source on various platforms with 1100+ on Google which it has never been stated that we as a company would intentionally lie and say "you have the wrong number, we are cleaning company, and we do not work on furnaces." Our company has had the same auto greeting for well over 3years now and have not change which Illissa heard when she called Monday after I left a voicemail advising the same number our technician did last November. We are very quick to go back to a customer and fix a problem without hesitation, and we pride ourselves on that. We were not giving a chance to look at our work to see what went wrong, if anything, and fix it.

Best Wishes,

One Source Home Service

Make it a great day!

Hi Jennifer,

My apologies, I misread; Wednesdays and Thursdays are the best days so, lets shoot for Thursday, 21st 10am

Best

Customer Response • May 14, 2020

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I can agree to Thursday, May 21st at 10 am if that works for Revdex.com. My understanding, from the last email I received from them, was that they need this to be a Thursday in June rather than a Thursday seven days from now. However, I am available to meet any Thursday morning at 10 am, so just let me know a definite date, ideally with at least a few days' heads-up, and I can make it happen.

Sincerely,

Jennifer

When I came home from a six day vacation from Arizona, I come to discover that my home was the same temperature outside, in the 30's, I have an old system in my home, the original from 1973, still working, but it could go at anytime, my thermostat just needed a new battery, but I decided to call a company to give me a quote on a new system, the next day I had someone come out and looked at all my HVAC equipment and said yeah its about time... he said it was passed its life span, amazed it was still working. after going over everything and what he recommend for my size home, they came out the very next day for installation, wow that's fast service. after that I decided to get me a new hot water heater and water softener and a revers osmosis, I also got brand new toilets, these guys are great, they updated my water pipping to code with a pressure regulator, that my house had none at all. my house has like a new heart and lungs..lol. now I don't have to worry of a sudden break down, they are nice enough to register the warranty your Furnace and AC online for you, and they have a dry wall repair guy if the guys had to get into your dry wall which they did by my breaker box, they cover everything. I plan on having them do some electrical work like new light switches and three ways, these guys are my go to guys from now one, thank you One Source Home Service you get an A+ from me.

Great company! They came all the way down to Fowler Colorado to put a new AC unit in my house. They sent guys to clean and check my vents. Sent someone to inspect my electrical throughout my whole house. They also send a guy to check all plumbing. My protection plan that came with the cost of my unit also got me three year service plan to check my furnace and AC for three years. They are veteran owned so you know you won’t go wrong there. I recommend them to everyone. Thank you One Source for the hard work and great customer experience.

Well they use to be heat depot. 2 yrs ago we bought a whole system ac/heat. Not once did they do a check up which our contract states two service checks per yr for 5 years. But now they are one source. And completely took us out of they're system. But when we call they said they sold our contract to Wire Nut. Which wire nut has no idea wat one source is talking about. So now we are screwed out of any warranty and services. 10k we spend to get screwed over. So wat ever financial issues or scam the owners got going on is wrong and they need to be investigated. We have all paper work. And Dez they're secretary wont even let us leave message for owner. Very rude

Honesty Integrity they need to change their saying in their service there's nothing honest about any of this Integrity whatever veteran-owned yeah I think the veteran-owned I think the veteran play doesn't know what's going on because if he does then he's the most crooked veteran out he doesnt give a damn about what his employees are doing I left a message for Terry the same day the inspector came to my house and said that my expansion tank on my brand new water heater was leaking and that the furnace on my brand new furnace was set way too far forward and there was no way to get a doorbell to cover that it took over a month for someone to respond to me over a month of water dripping down and my furnace being too far forward all that hot metal and everything exposed to my grandson or he could easily burn himself but who cares right you got my $6,000 + why would we answer you anymore we got your money go to hell is that what they think don't use this company there's plenty of other companies out there that are honest and actually do what they say they're going to do

Hi Mark, Thank you for your feedback. We have reached out multiple times, unfortunately, we missed you every time and left voicemails. R I P O F F !!!!!!!!!!! avoid at all costs, In My Humble Opinion (IMHO)
I bought AC/Heat HVAC maintenance service many years ago. Being disabled from 7 back fusions and 21 related surgeries, I just cant do what I used to. I have to depend on hiring services, and need to be able to "TRUST" that the company has my best interest at heart. For years this company transformed from *** to *** and now One Source home services. I like the combined services at one business and the bundling makes sense. We have used them and have had no issues until now. What happened? I scheduled our annual clean the furnace filters check everything out to ensure all is well. Sadly my last 3 appointments were the nightmares that people try to avoid at all costs.
For the last 7 years every appt has said, everything is good, thanks for letting us service you. However this year was exactly opposite.
Carol and trainee showed up for first visit. I left them alone and they were in equipment room for quite a long time.
Suddenly, the report indicated that I HAVE to REPLACE my 2 furnaces, my AC unit, and that all my gas main connections were leaking gas!
If this company has been servicing us for 7 years and on the last visit of our contract, suddenly turns into replace all your equipment and fix gas main leaks.
I requested & scheduled a 2nd appointment to come out and explain to me why our furnaces and A/C need replacing and we have main leaks (they don't develop overnight).

When Aron showed up we had discussions about the findings and the fact I was taken back when told we had to replace and fix leaks, when for 7 years everything was reported as "ok".
We had a rather terse discussion about this and why we suddenly- "INSTANTLY" have gas main leaks and replacing the 2 furnaces, and HVAC unit etc. I then questioned the fact that we have gas main leaks-and they do not happen overnight (7 years) however, when I requested Aron to check the gas leaks-he could not, because he did not bring his equipment to check the gas leak. Jeez-that is one of the serious components of this reported problem, he shows up w/o the equipment to show me the proof. So another visit was scheduled the next day.
Aron shows for 3rd appointment, we do some small chat, about the replacement of furnaces a/c. I again state that up to last visit-everything was great-now it is all gone to *** in a hand basket-why? He admitted to me after looking at his reports, that it was the age of the system-no real problems. Maybe efficiency has degraded over time. So the units do not need to be replaced as nothing is defective, maybe just not as effective as "new".
So our contract ended, and this was a way to get more money out of our pockets. If you don't need to replace equipment, and this company says you need too replace it all, and then an employee admits that the equipment is working within parameters-it is just old...I call this abuse of position/trust/honesty etc. We are talking a lot of $$$$$$$ for one furnace-we have 2 with AC integrated into the system. This scenario now has called into question just what is going on with respect to telling customers they need to replace equipment.
Now for the rest of the story. Aron and I after rather " I don't trust you any more" conversation, then starts addressing the gas main leaks issue. He showed me leaks-brought his "one device does all tester". He then sniffed all the joints, and amazingly the device would light up at almost every joint/union/fitting etc. I hear that the tester beeping & he says it detects leaking gas.
After he sniffed all possible areas, I asked him what I think an important question is-and he refused to answer. I asked him how many parts per million of gas was detected. PPM metrics determine if you have a leak, and what the volume of gas is leaking. While normally one says there are no leaks-there will be small releases of gas in low ppm, no matter how new and tight the connection is. When I asked how many parts per million were detected, Aron says " A LEAK IS A LEAK" when I told him I wanted to know the PPM-he steadfastly told me it did not matter. I told him it did matter and wanted to know the PPM for each leak. He became hostile, refused to tell me the PPM readings and then I asked him to leave. I called One Source today to speak with Jason *** the owner, asked for him and after 5 minutes of waiting-guess who answers the call-Aron. He asks me what do you want and I told him he knew what I wanted (told the person whom answered the phone).
Well, it's no surprise that the employee I have a complaint about-and prior services-tells me you got leaks, and the fire Dept. is going to come test and shut down your service. Had to repeatedly ask that the owner answer my complaint, finally he said he would have him call me. Nothing like threats to make a customer love your business.
Ok...so that is where we stand. a 7 year contract, that when it ends-SUDDENLY my A/C, 2 Furnaces, and the gas mains need replacing. There was not complete honesty here and I feel that elderly, disabled are being abused systematically, and their pockets being drained.
Mr. Jason ***, does deserve the professional courtesy to respond to this, and I am awaiting a call from him today.

I am wondering if the money I spent on all the years of service was just a scheme to collect big bucks at end of service contract. This makes one think Good for 7 years-now its trashed. It appears that the service contract was a huge waste of money.
I am going to see if they really serviced the furnaces, filters etc. Which means I have to open and work when I am disabled, this will be one hell of a chore for me to do.
HERE IS THE BIG BIG BIG ELEPHANT in the room that is not being discussed-gas leaks suddenly appear after the last inspection..
I own a Freon sniffer. I also own a combustible gasses sniffer. Sophisticated enough to detect as little as 30 ppm. If I had a leak at 30 ppm, it would be so little that just a 64th inch away from the leak-it disappears into the air-no possible way to ignite such a small quantity, smell it. However an accurate gas sniffer will tell you of the presence and concentration in PPM. When his detector beeped at every joint-I was very surprised. he tested every joint/connection/valve/adapter and possible point of a leak.
The lower explosive limit of natural gas is 4%, which converts to 40,000 ppm. 30ppm as I stated is not dangerous, or explosive. It takes a 4% concentration to become explosive. However since my sniffer found "0" leaks-it tell me that possibly I am getting ripped off, for thousands of dollars, and the money I paid for the service contract was wasted as they never discussed-we found leaks. My system may be old, but it works great. May not be as efficient, but we keep cool and keep warm as needed.
After Aron left I tested the same connections-and came up with "0" ppm at any place. I also checked the meter by allowing unignited gas to leak from stove burner -at a distance of 12 inches it detected the leak, and went to total saturation when I moved the gooseneck closer to the burner.MY DETECTOR can up "0" ppm for every area, they said leaked. If possible I am going to make and post a video so prospective clients can form ideas of what to expect from this company.

Aron never demonstrated that his detector was properly calibrated, warmed up and that the sniffer results were indeed accurate. All of this has created great distrust of the tech's, reports, and "service".

and we head to mechanical room to test for gas leaks. His detector showed a gas leak at almost every pipe union, joint, coupling etc. So when I asked him just what the PPM was he said it did not matter, a leak was a leak. I told him it does matter to me-yet he again said it did not. There was no effort to build trust, rapport oer establish a relationship in which matters could be discussed.
So it appears that having paid big bucks for this maintenance contract-was just a rip-off in my opinion as everything was fine until last days of contract-then WHAM you need to spend thousands, fix your gas main leaks. The lower explosive limit of natural gas is 4%, which converts to 40,000 ppm. This kind of leak does not happen overnight-so I FEEL THAT I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF, LIED TO AND THEN COMPANY ATTEMPTED EXTORTION OF "FACTS" TO CUSTOMER--- REPLACE IT ALL Repair Gas main leaks.
While I believe that when you put your entire TRUST and FAITH that the company will be honest and give you the service you paid for, for me this has destructed in a matter of minutes when the last tech was rather insulting, would not disclose facts, and then became hostile. So where does that leave us?
I think we should get a 100% refund of the contract, and that the owner should engage us and discuss this matter. Mr. Jason *** needs to take a hard look at how employees are doing work, interacting with customers. Is he aware of the "big balloon payment"(replace all equipment &fix leaks) at the end of the contract? 2 furnaces 12 grand+, one AC unit 3 grand plus install costs permits etc. We are talking $15 grand-plus fixing main gas line leaks. So maybe a total $17 grand is what they are expecting to be spent. That is quite a chunk of cash.
Are employees doing performing in this manner, without his k knowledge-or does he know, and endorse this kind of treatment and abuse of clients.
IMHO you should avoid this company like they have the black death. You will be led down a primrose path, but at the end is a black hole, that will siphon every Penney out of your pocket it can. The contract I have failed me as 3 HVAC units and gas mains don't fail overnight. My visits (2 a year) never found anything that leads to the conclusion-replace/fix etc. I am very saddened that elderly disabled are victimized by these tactics. My gas detector works great-why does Araons beep on almost every connection? Could it be reacting to the pipe dope used(he even alluded to that).
Looking for a service maintenance contract for HVAC, plumbing or electricity? I strongly recommend you avoid this company because of hidden agenda, acquiring $$$ when you don't need to spend it.
Mr . Jason ***. Please prove me wrong about all this. I am reasonable-but threats from a tech, and the false leaks everything are just way too much.
Aron has my phone # and said he would have you call me.
Please do call as I feel pretty ripped off right now. Bob
