I am rejecting this response because:

I have emailed [redacted] back in dec when he told me to and he would return my money. orbit is the co. I paid not some vendor. he told me he was the manger and if I wanted a refund to email him and I did. now that I thought I was getting a refund it is to late to book the flights and rooms so I feel [redacted] is fully responsible and should return my fee. If they are at all a honest and trustworthy company or are they the type to hide behind behind small print and steal money.

Review: On December 15, 2013 my wife and I attended a travel membership presentation by Orbital Promotions in [redacted] Virginia. After the three hour presentation, we were not interested in their lifetime membership fee. As we left the presentation at [redacted] College in [redacted] MA, they gave us two vouchers to my wife and I. These 2 vouchers were for 2 airline tickets and a 2 nights/ 3 day stay at a hotel. When I got home, I filled in the vouchers which cost $120 to activate these 2 vouchers for the airline tickets and hotel stay. I wrote two checks to Orbital Promotions, $70 for the airline tickets to activate them and $50 to activate the 2 nights/ 3 day hotel stay of our choice. The two checks were cashed right away from my checking account. After a week, I received another letter asking for more money ($495) to upgrade the original agreement. I have NOT given them anymore money, but I have tried many times to leave them voice messages and emails to answer my questions. When I called, you immediately go to a voice message and no one answers the phone. After waiting several weeks of not receiving a single returned phone call, I have written to both the Virginia's Attorneys office and Massachusetts Attorneys office with this complaint. This company has victimized many other people as I saw on multiple SCAM reports.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund check for $120 and a complaint report filed against this company to stop victimizing people like myself.

Review: I received an offer in the mail for a free cruise with [redacted] Cruise lines if I attended a time share presentation at a local hotel. The presentation was by [redacted] Travel. I attended the presentation but did not buy the product. I was given a voucher to mail to Orbital Promotions. I was told to mail the voucher to them along with a check for $98 to pay for processing and in 15 days I would receive my documentation for two free cruises and round trip air fare for two. My check was cashed; however, I never received anything in the mail. I attended the presentation on March 15. My check was cashed on April 1.Desired Settlement: If this is a legitimate business and this was simply a mistake, I would like my free cruise and airfare for two. If this is a scam, I expect full reimbursement of my $98.

Review: Orbital Promotions/ Jetstream Promotions is running a scam by mailing free travel offer in exchange for sitting through their presentation. They mail a postcard offering 2 free airline tickets and a 3 day vacation ect. They then invited us to the [redacted], [redacted] NY for a 90 minutes pitch. Strong arm tactics and multiple closers for a 8995.00 scam membership to their travel club. We declined and they handed us 2 worthless vouchers. Frankly the FBI should be called as they are committing mail fraud.Desired Settlement: Provide the airline tickets promised without any other terms.

Review: I was seeking information online about timeshares, and was sent information from Orbital promotions. The company promised Free airline tickets to anywhere in the US as well as Free Hotel accommodations for a period of time if we sat through a presentation, as we did.

The company then requested that I send a check for a handling fee for each, $50.00 for Hotel and $70.00 for Airline tickets.

After sending the checks, nothing was received in the mail nor any notice provided that I was receiving what was promised.

The company began to ask for more money, before I was able to receive anything from them.

I attempted to contact the company by phone and fax and have received no answer back from the company.Desired Settlement: Receive a refund from the company for the $120.00 that I sent them for "fees".

Review: We attended a presentation for travel club & were promised 2 round trip tickets on Jet Blue for attending. Required to pay $35 each (2 people) for activation fee. We paid $70 by check on 12/12/13. Have been calling since December for ticket certificate & get no response - either "mailbox full" or "will have a supervisor call you back." Called another # (Validation Center) 4/11 & was told that they cannot do anything until Orbital Promotions/[redacted] generates a certificate. After leaving numerous messages, my wife told them that we would file a complaint if they did not call, & they did not. We would like the 2 tickets we were promised, but at the very least, want our $70 back, which we paid in good faith.Desired Settlement: Want the 2 RT tickets, as we fulfilled our part of the transaction. Both my wife and I have invested time (sat through the presentation) and effort (calling numerous times and faxing), and are frustrated by the lack of response. We would at the very least appreciate a refund of the $70 we paid.

Review: The promotion was for free airfare & hotel but the charges & fees are excessive. Now, they won't refund the $120 we sent them.Desired Settlement: Refund of the $120 we sent for free trip.

Review: My wife and I attended a 90 minute presentation involving a Vacation product. We were told that we would receive a special gift for attending the presentation. The gifts were a 3 day hotel stay and 2 round trip airfares. We send Orbital Promotions two separate checks, $70.00 for the airfare and $50.00 for the hotel stay. Orbital sent us back further instruction to now send in more money to another company in order to receive the actual vouchers. When we sent in the first two checks, this company clearly indicated that our documents would be mailed to us within 15 days. Our understanding was that these documents would be our vouchers. I strongly feel this is a clear example of product misrepresentation. There was no indication that there would be additional fees involved in obtaining the actual vouchers for the hotel stay and airfare. We are requesting a refund of our $120.00 because we were led to believe that was the total amount needed to obtain the vouchers.Desired Settlement: Refund of our original payments.

This letter is in response to your complaint dated 11/24/14. Please

make note that all vacations, discount and restaurant cards are

promotional. Restrictions and fees are always associated with

promotional material. Fees are based on availability, ports of call and

travel dates requested. Unfortunately, we are caught in the middle

between Marketing companies, clients and fulfillment companies. We

simply provide the certificate incentives to other companies to market

their products or services. We don't have anything to do with fees,

restrictions, marketing or fulfillment. They are set by fulfillment

companies. We do not promise FREE vacations. You will not find the

word FREE on any of our certificates. All of our certificates carry the

following disclaimer that no one seems to take time to read:

Review: received a card in the mail offering 2 round airfares and 2 nights 3 day hotel stay plus coupons off dining and entertainment and shopping, in exchange for sitting through a 90 minute presentation offering a vacation club with"[redacted]".

We received the certificates for the airfares and for the hotels.

However the certificates require the we send $70.00 plus either 50.00 dollars or 65.00 dollars (to be decided when and by Whom we do not know) in order to receive the free airfares 2 vouchers, and the certificate want us to send and additional $50.00 AND an additional $50.00 for a "refundable" deposit which is required for setting the reservations in addition to all this we must have a "Major Credit Card" also we may incur additional surcharges.Desired Settlement: We feel that this situations constitutes a scam as the initial contact enticed us to attend this presentation that does not (anywhere on the card) require that I pay these people money. We attended this presentation believing that we were receiving airfare for 2 to anywhere in the continental US and 2 nights and 3 days and hotel. We believe that these people should be investigated and possibly charged with fraud.

Review: Orbital Promotions mislead me into believing that if I attended a 90 minute session February 23, 2014 at [redacted], Georgia listening to a vacation club promotion I would receive 2 round trip airfare tickets at the end of the presentation. Instead we received a card with a request for $120 to be sent to their company. I did so only to receive more documents, as it turns out, of "nothing" and a request for more money. At that point I knew this was a scam and tried calling to request a refund. I was told to hold for a supervisor at which point a voicemail came on, after which I tried calling again several times; all were unanswered.I called from a different number and was given an email to make my refund request. I have not heard from the company as of April 17, 2014. I am requesting my entire $120 be refunded to me.Desired Settlement: I would like my entire $120.00 be refunded to me. I also want all of my personal information destroyed with a letter of confirmation from Orbital Promotions.

Review: I attended a seminar in which free airfare was offered even if I did not purchase the product. I send off money to Oribital Promotions. I received a voucher on April 27th that had an issue date of "April 27". I then had to send in $100 to another company but did so believing that this was still a good deal for round trip airfare. The company then returned my $100 stating that the voucher EXPIRED on April 27. There is no way I could have gotten it to them as I did not receive it until that day. I had already filed a complaint with the Revdex.com previously due to it taking so long for Orbital Promotions to respond to my first payment. They finally responded but with an EXPIRED voucher which I cannot use. I WANT THE MONEY I GAVE TO ORBITAL PROMOTIONS RETURNED TO ME OR A NEW VOUCHER WITH A NEW ISSUE DATE.Desired Settlement: I WANT THE MONEY I GAVE TO ORBITAL PROMOTIONS RETURNED TO ME OR A NEW VOUCHER WITH A NEW ISSUE DATE.
