I ordered a product on 8-31-18 and was not charged for my product until 9-5-18. This made my account go negative and I had fees from other companies when my money wasn't there. I went to their chat customer service and was told too bad it was a holiday and it takes longer! Then I read the reviews on ***. there is no way this company should be part of the Revdex.com their customer service Reviews and what I experienced for myself are some of the worse I have ever seen. Please look into this company and their customer reviews they are not good and should not be an A+ company.

We appreciate the customer reaching out with their concerns. When the was order placed on Friday 8/31 we requested an credit card authorization for the purchase. The order was shipped and the credit card charged on Tuesday 9/4. We do not charge the credit card until the order ships. This is a typical process for credit card purchases. It can take the bank a day or two to process the payment to the customer's account. Not charging the credit card until the order ships ensures the customer is not over charged should an item not be available when the order is filled and shipped. We are also including a copy of the transcript from the chat for reference as well.

Very frustrated and upset with Oriental Trading. Ordered items for my sons birthday party on August 15, paid extra for shipping to ensure that I received it on time. Never received the package and decided to call them on August 24th where they told me my package was held due to my shipping address which was CORRECTLY written on my sales order. No one emailed me nor called me to let me know my package was on hold. The woman ensured me that I will receive it the next day(Saturday) since my party is on Sunday. I called Oriental Trading 3 times after to verify my package was going to be here on Saturday. They all said yes. Saturday comes and no package. I am finally able to track the package and it states it will be here on Monday. I called and they have nothing to say. They blamed it on ***.. I am very upset and frustrated. I have a birthday party tomorrow with no goodies thanks to Oriental Trading.

I was having issues with their system and decided I no longer wanted to do business with them. I never placed an order with the company and wanted my personal information removed from their system. The correspondence I encountered with the customer service rep. was as follows.

I have made several purchases with Oriental Trading in the last few weeks, including candy, for my son's upcoming wedding. They have shipped out very quickly, items were packaged well and were exactly what I expected. I will definitely do business with them again.

Needed to ask question of customer service prior to completing my order, while awaiting response, $*** promotion changed to $, with no email sent to notify customers and my order had already been processed with the $*** promotion. Returned to complete order after getting customer service response and order had been reprocessed at the $*** promotion, which I did not qualify for. The first promotion, $/free shipping/$*** off was on the top of the order page and sent as an email as ling as you ordered online, which I was doing. They came in and changed their promotion AFTER placing it in the online order page AND sending out emails; no new email was ever sent.

They spam us with catalogs, even though we have asked repeatedly to be taken off their mailing list. They said it is impossible to take us off list!
We were told the way to take ourselves off of the Oriental Trading mailing list is to call them up and give them our "cr." However, we still get multiple catalogs every week, all listing a different cr. We've called approximately 25 times, providing the "cr" listed on each of these catalogs, asking to please take us off of their mailing list(s). Each time, they agree to take our "cr" off of the list, but it makes no difference in terms of how many mailings we receive from this company. When we called and made a formal complaint, threatening to never order from their business again, they said there was nothing they could do for us. They have too many mailing lists, sub-categories of catalogs, and scheduled mailings to manage requests to take customers off of their lists. These catalogs are a nuisance, as waste of paper, and we feel as though Oriental Trading has no interest in helping us to resolve this issue.

We no longer want to receive catalogs from Oriental Trading or any of their related companies.

The catalogs are being mailed to her work/business and employees. *** will be emailing me the list of crs and/or names and addresses the catalogs are mailing to so I can work directly with our Marketing group to have them removed from our mailing list.

We appreciate *** reaching out to us and allowing us the opportunity to help with a resolution. We certainly do not want to send catalogs to anyone that does not wish to have them as it is an inconvenience to the customer as well as an unnecessary expense for us.
