Review: I ordered Teriyaki Medallion Skewers. The picture was of steak, peppers, and onions of a wood stick, like a skewer. My mother went to pick it up and when I opened the box at home it was just the steak and peppers sloppily in the container and with holes like someone had taken the sticks out. I ended up throwing out the meal, and it was late so I didn't bother calling. My mother went back to ask for a refund for the skewers but they said they couldn't do it and offered a $20 gift card and she accepted. I don't want a gift card back to their bad restaurant so as soon as that arrives I will gladly give it back to them.Desired Settlement: I would like the 14.29 (with tax would make it at $15) refunded in cash. I do not want a gift card back to their bad restaurant, as I probably won't be returning ever again.

Review: On March [redacted],2015 I was in NYC for my mother's funeral. Several family members and myself had lunch at Outbacks Steakhouse. I Gave my credit card to the server and signed off on a charge of $173.25.(tip was given separately). I reviewed my credit card statement and found that I had been charged $209.00. I contacted the restaurant and spoke to the Manager [redacted], gave him the necessary information (Card number, expiration, server, etc) and asked that my card be credited for the difference. He stated he would take care of it within 48 hours. Nothing happened, I called him again on 3/**/15 and gave him the information again. To date this issue has not been resolved. The restaurant received $209.00 from my credit company for a charge of $173.25.I need to have this issue resolved immediately. I have my receipt issued by them and the charge appears on my credit card statement.Desired Settlement: I wish to have this particular Outback Restaurant either issue to me the refund or creditmy Visa Credit Card account immediately. I have been very patient after contacting the Manager twice.Thank you so much

Review: I went to the Christiansburg Outback with two others. After waiting a long time to be seated our experience got worse. The waitress was rude. She got annoyed when we asked for time to figure out what we wanted. She asked us if we wanted bread before we even ordered food but did not bring it out until we finished our salads. When my friend was ordering her food and hadn't picked her side yet the waitress sighed and rolled her eyes. My friend was trying to find the sides in the menu and I was telling her the choices from my menu (which should be the waitress's job and not mine). The waitress snapped at my friend "it comes with mixed veggies, okay?" My friend also wanted a baked potato for another side and got baked potato soup instead. My friend asked for a refill on his wildberry tea. The waitress said "you do know I have to charge you for another drink." We were not aware and all had wild berry teas. My other friend and I didn't order any refills. It wasn't mentioned beforehand and we had been there 2 months prior and got free refills. We did not get to eat our entrees at the restaurant. A table that came in 10 minutes after us and ordered after us was served their food long before we got ours and they had more people. We had to take the food home to eat our meals. We had not even eaten anything but bread and salads in the time we were there. The waitress never apologized for the poor service, taking over 45 minutes to bring out our entrees and then we had to request boxes because it took so long. This seemed to irritate her more. She was very short with us. It seems our food sat out for awhile after it was made. That would explain why it took so long to get to us. My friend told me her food was cold and chewy when it brought out. She had salmon. We did try one bite of our entrees. My other friend and my food was overcooked. We each had porterhouses. They were orderd as medium well and they were dry and severely well done. I only tipped the waitress because they did get us our 1st drinks and salads and eventually (after our salads) the bread. I shouldn't have tipped her anything, but I did 10%. My standard is 20%. Really 1 cent would have sufficed for her. The waitress's name was [redacted] The manager, [redacted], came over and gave my two friends and myself gift cards. The manager gave each of us a gift card for the problems. I couldn't ask my friends for the gift cards so my friends got a free meal and then a gift card on top. She did not ask about the waitress. The waitress was extremely rude to us. I paid $108 for everyone in my group. I honestly feel the manager should have done more than give everyone a small gift card. I basically paid $108 for overcooked food, horrible service and long waits. I did submit a complaint online but never was contacted regarding it. I also submitted my complaint online and asked to be contacted but I never was. I haven't gone back to Outback since and I don't know if/when I will, at least not the Christiansbug location. I normally go to Outback one to two times a month. We got there around 8:20 and by the time we left it was 9:55.Desired Settlement: It was horrible service, extremely long waits and the rudest server I have ever met. To pay $108 for food and not be able to eat most of it and then be treated horribly was awful. I do not know why Outback will not contact me about my complaints. I have contacted them twice and heard nothing back. I normally spend quite a lot of money at Outback. In the past I have spent $120 or more on just myself and another. It's sad that I have not been back to any Outback since because of the experience. I believe a refund should be given.

Review: We ordered curb service on 3-8-2014 at Outback Steakhouse in Roanoke Va. The bill total was 46.61. My wife left a 1.00 tip because of the wait was so long and the waitress said she failed to see our car in the parking lot in the designated parking area. There was a 1 added to the tip by the amount, by the waitress making it look like it was a 11.00 tip.Desired Settlement: We want the waitress repromanded, We want the total credit card transaction refunded back to our account.

Response:

On March 11th, while on the phone with the [redacted] they stated they were filing a complaint against Outback with the Revdex.com due to a discrepancy on their credit card. Their bill was $46.61, and they were charged $57.61. They stated they had only left a $1 tip, not $11 and wanted to be refunded the money, it was stated they felt the Outback representative had forged a higher tip and demanded for the representative to be reprimanded. Upon hearing this information, Mrs. [redacted] was ask to please hold while we pulled out the credit card slip that she had signed. Once the slip was retrieved, Mrs. [redacted] was informed the entire check would be refunded, and that she would receive a call from the managing partner to help further resolve the issue. The credit card slip stated $46.61 was their check amount; however, the total amount signed off on was $57.61. The tip line originally did say $1; however, it appeared as if she had accidentally left off the additional 1 due to the total she had written. The representative got a manager involved on what was the right thing to do, and the manager agreed it seem there was an error in what Mrs. [redacted] had written in the tip line since the total was drastically different. Upon discovering that Mrs. [redacted] did intend only to leave $47.61, we refunded her entire check on March 11th at 8:45pm. The managing partner spoke with the [redacted]’s, sincerely apologized and let her know what we saw on the receipt. We sent the [redacted]’s a copy of the receipt, as well as a $20 compensation card for a future visit. We hope to see the [redacted]’s again soon. Review: I took my family (5) to this Outback branch on Monday, September 9, 2013, and we waited over 15 MINUTES to be served before we got up and walked out. On our way out, I requested a manager and one never appeared. We eat at this particular Outback at least twice a month and sometimes more. We were appalled at the customer service that night. I had a similar situation happen a few years back and I vowed to never go back to this location. I gave the location a second chance and to no avail, bummer! I believe in customer service and it was not received by my family on this day. I am requesting compensation to take my family to a different location to make up for the lost time waiting at the [redacted] location a few days ago.Desired Settlement: And gift card for dinner (5) at the Outback Steakhouse of my choice~!

My experience at the Aspen Hill location was horrible. I purchased a $50 gift card that was never activated and when I tried to use the gift card in which I purchased the same night, I was accused of switching out the gift card with another gift card that had no money on it. The crazy thing about it, is the fact that the gift card purchase was done with a manager. It was very embarrassing for me and I think it was unprofessional for the manager to tell me that they are losing money because I can probably have the gift card in my back pocket. From that incident, I realized that management at that location is both unpleasant and not properly trained.
