Pacific Debt helped me recover from more than $26k in credit card debt in less than 14 months. The customer account manager [redacted] was intelligent and sincere and devised a workable plan to settle these debts. He patiently answered all my questions and concerns as I was afraid PDI could be a scam. They definitely were not. Everything is laid out clearly and documented in writing. On April 30th, 2014 Mr and Mrs [redacted] enrolled in our debt settlement program to assist them with 9 unsecured debts totaling approximately $10,000. They enrolled due a very tight budget which was making it very difficult for them to remain current on their bills.

April 13th we completed both our Welcome Call and Quality Assurance call with Mrs. [redacted] to confirm the client's complete understanding of the program. At that time we laid out a game plan for the client's program -- our first intention was to settle with Bill Me Later. Additionally we re-reviewed all program aspects in our Quality Assurance call and at that time the client voice no concerns. 
 
In fact two days later on May 15, 2014 the client faxed in all of the creditor statements to add to their file. 
 
On May 21st, the client called in and left a voicemail as well as sent an email requesting to cancel. As is customary the Account Manager [redacted] cancelled all pending drafts and forwarded the request to our customer service manager for follow up, to ensure the request was handled properly. Mr. [redacted] received an email to this effect from [redacted] as well. 
 
On May 22nd our customer service team reached out to Mr. and Mrs [redacted] two times to assist with their request. Mr. [redacted] from PDI left a voice mail at 12:14 pst. Shortly thereafter Mr. [redacted] sent in an another email stating he had filed a complaint with the Revdex.com since he felt he had no choice in the matter. I personally reached out to Mr. [redacted] and reached him on a number that he previously had not provide our company (his work line). At the time we spoke I resolved the matter to the client's satisfaction by closing the account and refunding the money that was contractually due.
 
In reviewing the circumstances of this complaint we do not feel that the consumer gave our Company ample time to resolve this matter before filing the complaint. It is our goal resolve all customer service inquiries within 24-48 business hours. In this case our company did just that.

I am having a hard time getting them to cancel and return the money already taken. I had to insist to a few different managers(?) that the fellow I dealt with I had said no, but that I would be referring to him after discussing this with my mother. She did remind me that I had submitted a refusal only a day or two after joining ... The first manager told me that I could no longer refuse, but he did lower the amount lent to me. I had to reach a 2nd manager yesterday, she told me that they would return all the money and that I would be receiving an email soon. Still waiting for it.
