Customer called me, the owner, to complain that the pizza he bought 3 days ago just didn't taste the way he wanted it to and since he didn't have any money left in his account, he wanted a refund.  I explained that company policy is that for a refund, we needed some of the product back so we...

could learn from it what caused the issue.  He said that he no longer had the pizza.  I offered him a replacement pizza but again he stated that since he didn't have any money in his account that he needed a refund.  I apologized for not being able to accommodate his desire for a refund and again offered to replace his pizza.  He was very insistent that he receive a refund and refused to accept that without returning some of the product so we could determine what went wrong with his order, we would not be issuing a refund as per our long standing policy.  Our customers respect our policies as they foster a healthy business relationship and he again refused and once again insisted on a refund.  I terminated the call.

PART - THE FACT THAT THERE HAVE BEEEN THREE RESPONSES IS A TOTAL LIE - NOT ONLY UNTRUE - BUT A COMPLETE AND UNFETTERED LIE. I GOT FORM EMAIL RESPONSE ORIGINALLY. APPARENTLY A RESPONSE FROM A FIRED STORE MANAGER OR REGIONAL MANAGER WHO NEVER RESPONDED TO TWO MORE ATTEMPTS TO GET THE PIZZA THE STORE SCREWED UP. I CONTACTED THE STORE, I CONTACTED THE CORPORATION, BY MAIL AND IMMEDIATELY BY PHONE, AND A CORPORATE COMPLAINT PERSON TALKED WITH ME AND TRIED TO GET IT FIXED UP. I WAS NOT HANDLED APPROPRIATELY AT ANY OF MY PRIOR CONTACTS - WELL, THE AUTO-RESPOND FROM THE FIRED MANAGER OR REGIONAL MANAGER WAS A START, BUT APPEARENTLY THEY WERE FIRED SHORTLY AFTER THEY AUTO-EMAIL RESPONSE WAS SENT OUT. THE RESPONSE TO THIS Revdex.com EMAIL IS ONE OF THE MOST STUPID RESPONSES ANYONE HAS PROBABLY WRITTEN TO THE Revdex.com. TO STATE THAT I GOT A FREE PIZZA IS A LIE. NO, PAPA JOHN'S DID NOT GIVE ME A FREE PIZZA. I PAID FOR THAT PIZZA IN HARD - UNITED STATES CURRENCY. I GOT NOTHING I DIDN'T PAY FOR AS FAR AS A PIZZA GOES. TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE IS A LIE. I INVITE PAPA JOHN, HIS STAFF, MINIONS, FRANCHISEES AND SUBORDINATE EMPLOYEES TO SUE ME FOR CALLING THEM A LIAR. I PUT PEOPLE IN PRISON FOR LYING, STEALING AND DEFRAUDING THE PUBLIC. I WAS 24 HOURS FROM FILING A SUIT IN A TEXAS JUSTICE COURT. I WOULD HAVE EASILY WON - IT WAS A NO BRAINER. IN FACT, IN TEXAS, I CAN FILE MY LAWSUIT AND PROCEED TO COURT, BUT A CORPORATION MUST APPEAR BY A LAWYER. NO EMPLOYEE, MANAGER OR FRANCHISEE CAN LEGALLY APPEAR IN COURT WITHOUT LEGAL COUNSEL. I WOULD HAVE ASKED THE COURT FOR LEAVE TO GET DISCOVERY AS WELL. THERE IS NO QUESTON THAT I WOULD HAVE WON. IT  WOULD HAVE COST THEM $500 TO $1000 FOR THEIR LOCAL COUNSEL FEES, PLUS REPAYMENT OF MY COURT COSTS AND THE $14 PIZZA I WAS OWED. IF THEY DIDN'T PAY ME INSTANTER, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE CONSTABLE TO EXECUTE ON THE PIZZA OVENS, SODA POP BOTTLES AND CASH IN THE STORE SAFE TO SATISFY THE JUDGMENT. FREE PIZZA - THE RESPONSE IS STUPID AND ARROGANT - NOT A GOOD COMBINATION FOR A RESTAURANT, CORPORATE OR FRANCHISE.I WAS GIVEN SOME LOUSY WINGS FOR FREE. IT WAS EVEN SAID THAT I SHOULD BE HAPPY (THEN AND THERE) TO HAVE THE "MANAGER" GET THE ORDER READY FOR ME ON JUST MY SAY-SO. WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP. This is the third time to respond to this complaint. I already talk to the customer and gave him a free pizza of choice and wings, he was graceful that I call him and he could get his mistake pizza.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Papa John's Pizza regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Like I stated last time. The business told me when I order over the phone the soda they failed to deliver to me will be added to my order for free. I have not ordered over the phone yet. When I order over the phone and the soda they failed to deliver to me arrives for free with my order I will mark the problem resolved.

I submitted a very detailed drawing of my roof and purchased the "Turn key" metal roof package for my home from Builders Discount Supply New Bern NC. I was assured repeatedly that everything I needed to complete the job was in the package. The package was short my almost $300.00 worth of materials. Their employee admitted to botching his calculations but Builders Discount refused to pay for the materials.
Bottom line is that the package was misrepresented and I was forced to buy additional materials from them. There are Consumer Protection laws against this type of Bait & Switch policy.

In response to:
1-Pizza were never 'shown' to me. I don't believe any pizza restaurant does not. This response is not true.
2-Well done is well done, not dry and brittle. These pizzas were over done and not edible.
3-I have already stated that free pizzas were offered. But I was not remotely satisfied in having more from Papa Johns, therefore politely declined. I do not have time to assume pizzas will be cooked or not. Nor do I want to have pizzas delivered/picked up just to see they are not done. I did not wish to fail my family again with no dinner to eat.
3- Pizzas were offered yet again, this time more forcibly. Again, I very politely declined asking for a full refund. I cannot believe that a known pizza chain would make a comment that I got a 'huge' discount and should therefore not be offered a full refund for what I paid for. $2 or $200, I paid for an edible meal for my family and did not receive one. The order was NEVER REPLACED by this chain! I order once from their location and once only. Where this restaurant is getting that I received 6 pizzas for $19 is insulting! I ordered 3 pizzas and paid $19 because of online offers. All 3 pizzas were severely overdone and not edible by any member of my family.
What I am asking for is a mere $19 order to be refunded to me. As a large company but owned individually is not fair to a consumer to have to fight for a refund. I do not ever intend to order from Papa John's in any location, ever again. I have stated more than enough times that I will not accept a replacement or coupons good for free pizzas. My money will be spent at a pizza restaurant that never fails to provide very good food. I'm sorry that PJ did not work out for me but I believe as a consumer I have a right to have my money refunded.

I am showing in our system that the customer paid with cash not a card. I spoke to her and told her that when she called here. There is no way to be charged to a card if she did not pay with that card.
