Review: Order of 23 items & only 1 arrived.The box was in terrible condition.The package was left with someone other than myself.Called party city s/w sue

Once package was opened only one item out of an order of 23 items was within the box, I contacted [redacted] and [redacted] assured me they would forward the investigation to Party City. However party city has not contacted me. I contacted Party City via telephone and S/w Sue she wasn't very concerned, nor attentive. I was not looking to get my money back, all I wanted was the items I ordered for my child's birthday party which is 1 day away. Sue which stated she was a supervisor did not give me any reassurance as to the return of my items or a reimbursement, I kind of felt as if she was insinuating that the lost items were in my possession. Sue did not offer any other assistance towards the missing items, over night shipment ect. During our conversation Sue spoke over me and cut me off in mid conversation several times. I strongly suggest sensitivity training for the management team. I am a very hurt and upset mother who was simply frustrated at what was going on; due to the closeness of the festivities. All I needed was to feel closure and reassurance. Going forward I had to re purchase all the items I had originally ordered on line, double the cost. I plan on sending over that secondary receipt to Party city to show them exactly what I had to do due to their poor judgement and lack of customer service skills. They have permanently lost a very loyal customer.Desired Settlement: I have already re purchased those missing items out of my pocket and even payed higher prices since the second purchase was in store instead online, those prices are higher. I no longer need nor want those items, I have my secondary receipt to show my purchase. I want to be reimbursed.

The package was delivered and signed for at the Business Address that the Customer requested for delivery. According to [redacted] records the package weighed the same amount at delivery as it did at shipment – which implies that when the package was signed for at the Business Address the contents were complete – what happened to it after that is beyond our knowledge. At this time no further action is warranted.

Besides the fact that the package was damaged, I received nothing but negative feed back from their supervisor and very hurtful comments insinuating that I had these items in my possession. so the behavior of their employee is acceptable? I highly doubt that. No discount, no coupon, no apologies. I am a consumer. This was my last purchase.

Review: I called n told them I need a banner for the 21 I ordered it on the 14th customer agent said no problem. I made the order n they said I wouldn't have it until the 22. my party is the 21. I wouldn't need it . they don't want to cancel or refund the money or cancel the orderDesired Settlement: refund

The Customer ordered a Custom item on the afternoon of 11/13. Custom Items, as clearly listed on our site during the Customization Process as well as in RED lettering once the item is completed and added to their basket, can take up-to 5 BUSINESS days to produce prior to shipment. We also advise, via our Shipping Information page, that Custom Items are shipped from the East Coast. The Customer selected the STANDARD shipping method – which to Arizona, even for stock items shipping from our warehouse in Illinois, is listed as taking 3-4 business days. The Customer did not account for the additional production time for the Custom banner and did not select an appropriate shipping method to receive the Custom item. No credit is applicable or due in this instance as the Customer created this error. There were no delays in production (it shipped in less-than 5 business days) not transit (the tracking record shows no delays or issues).

Review: I went into the Party City located at 4410 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM to purchase infant costumes. I was letting my niece look at the birthday hats bent down to tie her shoe. I was approached by [redacted] and asked if she could have the costumes and escorted me to the front of the store and was very irritated when I wanted to purchase the items. The lady at the register was very pleasant. Meanwhile [redacted] had thoroughly checked the costumes original bag and when the lady at the register was about to give me the return by date [redacted] had cut her off and said that I would not be returning to the store. The lady at the Register gave me my change and put the receipt in the bag. [redacted] took the bag and escorted us to the door. I had gotten home and I no longer had a receipt for my purchased items. Nor had I ever been treated this way. I hadn't done anything to be treated this way. My order consisted of 3 6-12 months size bat costumes item number on your website is SKU: [redacted] Order total after tax was $80.22Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my purchase

The Party City location that the customer references is a franchise owned location. The customer needs to contact the owner of the store directly to resolve any issues. Party City Corporation is not able to resolve these kinds of matters for franchise locations. The owner of this location is [redacted] or [redacted] and either can be reached by contacting the store directly.

Review: On November 12th 2014 I placed an order for my son since his birthday is a few days later I needed it ASAP and even paid extra on shipping just so it can be here on time. his birthday passed and long story made short.. I never received the package and even had to go out of my way and buy different balloons and other things. I contacted their customer service regarding my missing order and "NATASHA T[redacted]" said they would contact [redacted] to see what had happened with the package. I also called and emailed. later on I recieved another email saying that [redacted] had said they delivered the package. WHEN?! and HOW?! I was not home since I work full time and no one is home either at school or work. how can they have delivered the package? so party city said. I then contacted [redacted] and they stated I had to contact party city. I then called again and let them know what was going on and they were finally going to just refund the $54.13 I knew it would take sometime but it is now FEBRUARY and I have not yet recieved my refund. I checked my credit card statements and there has not been anything issued to my account.Desired Settlement: All I ask for is a refund that they agreed to months ago. I just want my money back simple as that $54.13

Our records indicate that on 12/11/14 [redacted] closed the case as confirmed delivered – per Driver he was able to confirm the specific delivery location. The Customer was notified via telephone on 12/11 of this resolution from [redacted] and that Party City would not be applying any refund as [redacted] had closed the case confirmed delivered. At this time we would have no further action to take as a claim cannot be filed with [redacted].

It's not my fault the business didn't offer signature delivery. Thanks a lot party city for over 50$ gone to the trash. I will make sure to never order anything again, horrible customer service.
