Paul Blanco's Good Car Company Stockton Reviews (72)

We reviewed the above-mentioned complaint submitted by *** *** on October 3, 2016. Ms*** intended to trade in her vehicle. Her vehicle was valued at $4,upside down. Based on the lender’s instruction, Ms***’ loan was contingent upon a co-signer or
down payment. Our finance company requires a credit history report, proof of income, or money down to approve a car loan In addition to our finance policy, we stand by the language stating that most approvals are based on down payment and income, not credit, as displayed in advertizing for potential Paul Blanco’s Good Car Company “Fresh Start” customers to see (attachment enclosed) We have been in touch with Ms*** to discuss her complaint Sincerely, *** *** Director of Operations/CFO

In Response to Revdex.com Complaint Case # 10409304:***,Please take a close look again at the CARFAX showing airbag deploymentRight underneath this reporting it says" CARFAX began reporting this information on 7/25/- AFTER you purchased the vehicleWe did not lie to you about our knowledge of the vehicle history at the time.We also do not discriminate between vehicles or customers when it comes to our safety standards, safety checks and repairsEvery vehicle must be checked and determined safe before we will send it to our lot for saleOur comprehensive safety inspections cover the engine, fluid levels, tires, electrical, and mechanical parts (not cosmetics)We stand by our safety inspections including the full inspection done on your vehicle prior to saleIt is standard procedure for every vehicle and is performed by our technicians in our own service centers - no exceptions. You indicated to us previously that you wanted to be reimbursed for "for what I had to pay out of pocket to keep the car in usable condition (AC labor and part and also 1wheel and installation). Please advise as to the cost amount of these repairs that you wish to be reimbursed for.Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
The DMV representative confirmed my address and it would be put in to today's mail.Thank you Revdex.com for your assistance!!*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: Not acceptable since their was more than what is stated PROMISEDI will decline the stripping since the services for repair should be as a wholeI will continue further action.

Ms.*** bought a car from us AS -IS, we did some repairs that were done as a courtesy, but we are not going to remove every scratch, the car is a Used car She also stated that she has issues with her tires, that was never told to us, by the customer Regarding the strip, we ordered it and have left messages, for the client to come in and have it installed I am attaching the service paper that was signed by the client that never stated anything regarding the tires, and what was promised and done to the car, when the client came in

I am rejecting this response. Most factory warranties expire at around 36,milesThis is not a coincidence as the rate of mechanical failure may begin to increase around this markAlso, a major (and costly) service visit is typically scheduled at approximately 40K, so consider this when buyingFrom there on, major service is usually required every 30,to 40,000Information quoted from carfaxmiles***As suggested it would have been up to the car dealership to service maintenance on the vehicleIf it was done and there is proof I apologize

I am rejecting this response because: I am attaching my credit report from credit karma showing the current status of my WF account, page shows there is a late on current status I need a letter from Paul Blanco stating the events that took place to get late remove as the late was no fault of my own Due to this late being reported my score drop significantly!!!Thanks*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: I was advised by YOUR FINANCE MANAGER to not make my June 20th payment so you can get more down payment from me!!!!

Good day Ms***, Thank you for sharing your experiences with Paul Blanco's Good Car Company StocktonWe are sorry we fell short of your expectationsI was able to research your sale using the information you providedAccording to your sales contract, you purchased an extended warranty
through our service departmentI contacted our service department in Stockton and they informed me they haven't inspected your vehicle since it was detailed at your time of purchaseThe warranty you purchased covers the vehicle for months or 24,milesAccording to ***, the car was purchased with 43,miles in March of The next record indicates that the car had an oil change, battery replaced, and tires balanced in February of The mileage recorded at that time of service was 58,The second and final service record retrieved from *** states the car was inspected on 11/21/The mileage at that time was 76,Note there is no record of any maintenance from March until February Then again there are no records of any maintenance being performed since February of 2017. In the months since your purchase you have put 33,miles on your vehicle with no evidence of routine maintenanceEven with evidence of consistent vehicle maintenance, the 24,mileage has been exhausted and the warranty is no longer activeAs I am sure you're aware, failure to properly maintain your vehicle will cause equipment malfunctionFailure to perform routine oil changes damages the transmissionThis effect is only amplified with excessive use. Thank you for being a valued Paul Blanco's Good Car Company Stockton customerWe appreciate your business. Sincerely, *** ***Escalated Customer Service Representative and Executive Assistant to the CFO Paul Blanco's Good Car Company

Mr. *** submitted a loan application through our website on May 10, Several of our business development center (BDC) agents attempted to contact him and on May 11th, Mr. *** scheduled an appointment with us for May 12thPrior to his appointment, our BDC
advised him by phone what to bring with him to his appointment and also sent him a confirmation email with instructions for his appointmentOne of the items we asked Mr. *** to bring with him was proof of income (in his case, current pay stubs). When Mr. *** signed a contract to purchase a Kia Soul from Paul Blanco's Good Car Company Stockton dealership on June 13, 2016, he did not have his pay stubs with himHowever, we trusted Mr***' word and agreed to move forward with the deal based on his stated income and Mr. ***' promise to bring us his pay stubsWe advised Mr. *** that time was of the essence in remitting his pay stubs for employment verification purposes.Mr. *** did not bring his pay stubs to our finance department until approximately days prior to the 10-day law mark for issuing a rescission letterWe then advised him that at this point we needed to get his pay stubs verified through the lender who agreed to accept his loan application, Americredit.During the stipulated loan document verification process, Americredit learned that Mr. *** had garnishments and an internal loan attached to his job incomeThe garnishments and internal loan effectively reduced Mr. ***' income, making it inconsistent with the stated income on his application for loan approvalSince Mr. ***' applicable income for loan approval did not qualify him for Americredit's loan program, Americredit turned the deal down.Consequently, our desk and finance managers attempted to get Mr. ***' deal bought through another lenderThey found two lenders willing to finance Mr. ***: *** Consumer USA and AL FinancialUnfortunately *** was willing to approve a maximum loan amount of only $7,at 19.92% interest, and AL Financial stipulated unusually high fees with similar termsEither way, this would require a substantially higher down payment from Mr. ***.We regret that we were unable to hold Mr. ***' auto loan deal together after learning of the attachments to his income that negatively impact his credit profileHad Mr. *** brought his pay stubs with him to his appointment as we advised him to by phone and email prior to his appointment, he could have avoided these circumstances that ultimately resulted in a loan retraction

I never stated you needed to have your car serviced at our locationYour warranty also does not include maintenance, which is why there is no documentation stating you would receive maintenance for your vehicleThe fact that you have apparently failed to maintain your vehicle is extremely germane to the matterFailure to keep your engine properly lubricated with motor oil and failure to change your oil filter will result in damage to your car's transmissionRunning a certain amount of miles will not cause a transmission to go out - in fact, vehicles can exceed one million miles with proper maintenance and careYour vehicle does have low mileage; however, with the significant use sustained by your vehicle without proper maintenance would most likely be the cause of the transmission failure. The vehicle was sold AS IS, and passed a full safety inspection prior to saleYou received months of heavy use from your vehicle without minimal upkeepAside from oil changes, there is critical maintenance that must be performed when a vehicle hits 60,milesYour vehicle passed the 60,mile mark while is was in your possessionThere is no evidence that your car's issues are in any way related to your original purchase from Paul Blanco's Good Car Company Stockton. Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:I'm not just upset with the fact that I had to invest into a vehicle that it should of been in "great conditions" but also the fact that I trusted the Integrity Dealership. Has been mentioned repeatedly about the standard inspection for all cars however until now no documentation was been providedI just want to clarify the fact that how is that since I took the car with the 1st technician ( only about a month after the purchase) they were able to know right away the car had hit something really hardThis was soon confirmed by the Technicians at Ford when I took the car for a routine service but the dealership was not capable to find any signs of it.At first there was no justification since I was told the car hadn't been in any accidents (If this was not a sure fact this information shouldn't been disclosed)Now I have prove and all the damages make perfect sense. I'm asking to provide the documentation of the inspection performed and the actions taken. As I mentioned before now I'm stock with this car at a very high interest and because of the accident I'm unable to refinance or probably sell. I want to get to the bottom of this problem and resolve it

Attached is the Vehicle Service Contract that Ms*** purchased with her vehicleThe information contained in section "Covered Vehicle" confirms that the warranty was purchased with 43,milesUnder section "Coverages Purchased" sub-section titled "Used Vehicle Coverage," Ms***'s vehicle was covered for months or miles. Do not hesitate to let me know if there is anything else I can do to clarify this matter or to be of assistance. Thank you, *** ***Escalated Customer Service Manager and Executive Assistant to the CFO

I am rejecting this response because: the contract is voidable by me due to the fact that I was coerced and under duress to sign the contract by my mother I need $1,back

Please provide proof that:1) You were advised by a Finance Manager employed by Paul Blanco's Good Car Company PRIOR to June 20th not to make your June paymentAccording to the evidence you presented, you didn't arrive at the dealership until your payment was already past due.2) Please provide a credit report from *** verifying the status of your closed Wells Fargo car loan as overdue by 30-daysThe information provided by Creditkarma.com is conflicting - listing late payments, worst payment status as "on-time." This credit report must be dated within the past days to ensure that all payments have been posted and the credit report has been updated thoroughly. 3) Verification from Wells Fargo that the late payment reported to your credit report was the additional second payment of $Any payments due prior to Paul Blanco's Good Car Company receiving the vehicle are the sole responsibility of the consumer as outlined in the contract held with Wells Fargo.

Dear Ms*** Thank you for bringing this information to our attentionPer our conversations, we have reversed your car loanFurther, as we are a used car dealership - we never made any claims that your car was "new." Since the contract has been cancelled, there is no other matter
at this timeIf you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact my officeSincerely, *** ***, Escalate Customer Service Manager

Revdex.com# ***Paul Blanco's Good Car Company was established in We now not only run CARFAX but also AUTOCHECK and MVTIS reportsThese three vehicle checking systems help us to make sure that we are giving our customers information that is as accurate as possible and accessible to us. CARFAX does not always update its vehicle reports at the same time the customer purchases the vehicleIn other words, CARFAX may run behind on updating its reports as it receives new information from other sources. All of our vehicles (past and present) are purchased from auctions throughout CaliforniaNone of the vehicles come with previous information as to wear and tearFor this reason and for the safety of our customers, every one of our vehicles undergoes an industry-wide, multi-point safety inspection after we purchase the vehicle from auctionIf we see anything wrong at the time of our safety check, we either fix it, or if we find the vehicle unsafe, we return it to the auctionIn most cases, we have the vehicles less than two weeks on our lots before a customer takes delivery of a vehicle. We understand you are attempting to obtain better financing on your vehicle, but have been unable to because of the air bag deployment record on your vehicle that now shows on CARFAX as having occurred on 7/25/When you purchased your vehicle on 4/23/12, we disclosed all the information we had at the time of sale, at which time the air bag deployment record did not exist. We would like to help you with your financingWe invite you to make an appointment to come to Paul Blanco's Good Car Company in Stockton and sit down with one of our specialists and see if we can help you obtain financing that meets your needs and budget
