I have looked into the customers account and have found the followingThe customer did email us her bank statement and did say that we did not cause an over draftAlso, I have included an attachment of our ACH form which states that we are authorized to charge any card associated with the customers account

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!! DO NOT purchase or lease a car from this sneaky, deceitful company!! Their sales people will lie to your face and they have absolutely no professionalism so if you say something they don't like - prepare to get hung up on like you're in high school! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! It's the worst decision I've EVER made and I will regret it forever! They over charged me $for a "damage waiver" that the representative Jasmine insisted I have EVEN THOUGH I have full coverage on the piece of trash car they leased meI called them out on it, Steve in the payment department advised me that he sees I had the full coverage and I was owed $that he'd have applied to my balance because he "didn't want to alert management," so that we could have this resolved fasterHe then emails me minutes after we spoke on the phone and he said they can't refund the money to me because I signed the contract requesting the waiverI SPECIFICALLY ASKED THE SALE REP, JASMINE, IF IT WAS NECESSARY FOR ME TO HAVE THIS COVERAGE ON TOP OF MY FULL COVERAGE CAR INSURANCE AND SHE SAID "IT WAS MANDATORY." She LIED! Not only do I NOT need the waiver if I have full coverage, but I could've also opted NOT to get full coverage insurance?! She made a bigger commission off of my $higher contract due to that stupid waiver that I don't even have on my contract any longer?! The amount of money being reported that I was paying to the credit bureau was incorrect and when I asked transunion/equifax to validate the balance, the company REMOVED the entire account from my credit report! SHADY!!!!!! Don't make the same mistake I did! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!!!

March 26,[redacted] ,This is in response to a complaint submitted by [redacted] As a threshold matterI am the individual who spoke with [redacted] My name is Stephanie P [redacted] and I am the attorney for Peoples CommerceI am not a sales person and did not lease [redacted] her vehicleIn fact, the company does not sell vehicles as a matter of coursePeoples Commerce is a leasing companyThe company leased a vehicle to [redacted] and that is the basis of her complaint.I have looked into this matter at [redacted] s requestAs [redacted] is aware from our numerous conversations and other correspondence, I did locate her accountShe is further aware, that I have sent a copy of her lease, including a photo identification matching her passport to her attention for her review, in hopes that we could resolve this matter without further effort on her part.I note, that in addition to a signed lease, with identification, [redacted] took out insurance and has a license to drive, all with her current address as she has most recently provided to meThis means, that from the time of the lease to the present, all information, insurance documents, delinquency notices, renewals etcwere sent to the address where [redacted] says she lives and which address was previously verified as well as verified by me within days of her complaint in February of It appears that I have been copied on an identity theft affidavitInstead of alerting us to any alleged fraud, [redacted] complained about collection calls, even though we allowed her to make payment plans and take deferments without paying late fees during her lease.With her latest complaint, within three days of her correspondence dated February 17, 2017,was in communication with [redacted] Since that time, I have been diligent with regard to determining the status of this matterI personally undertook an investigation of her allegations, which included an interview with her on the telephone, a review of her account, a review of her contract and her prior complaintsI requested a copy of the police report relating to her allegation of theft, a photo ID with a her signature and any other documents which she thinks might corroborate her assertionsNone of these items were forth coming and in spite of my representations that we take this seriously and that she could communicate directly with me by telephone, in person and by email, she declined to provide any of the documentation requested and to which we are entitledShe did provide a copy of her passport which confirmed the information we had in the file.We were able to conclude as follows:• [redacted] did not produce a report, call in to the company regarding fraud nor provideany documentation contemporary with this contract where she alleges fraud.•Our request for a police report was ignored in spite of the fact that I explained to [redacted] , that this company and others may conclude that if the complainant went to the police near the time of the fraud that can be sufficient to establish identity theftThis is to help consumers in a very difficult situationIt is helpful in that many individuals are aware that there can be criminal and/or civil penalties for filing a police report and so reporting an incident that did not happen would be quite a risk.•Since she signed the lease, she has gotten mail, information and documents as a result of this transactionWe have reported her to the credit reporting agencies and up until recently there were no allegations of fraud even though [redacted] was well aware of how to complain about the company since she did so prior to this issueIn fact, while under contract with us she filed a complaintThis complaint does not allege fraud but instead complains about our collection calls.Rather than making a phone call or inquiry regarding this transaction, [redacted] paid on the car on numerous occasions, had payment plans and deferrals all the while living at the address she lives at today [redacted] never asserted any allegations of identity theft or fraudIn spite of the overwhelming evidence that there is no fraud in this matter as it relates to making this contract, I have expressed a willingness to listen and receive any information which might tend to corroborate [redacted] 's positionPlease do not hesitate to reach out to me for information or if you have any questions.Best Regards, Stephanie PEsq.Peoples Commerce, General Counsel

We closed this account as paid as satisfied on 3-7-We did not report any negative mark on customers credit The customer was released from the contract

We had not responded to this complaint right away because the customers car was almost finished from having the work done.I personal have been dealing with this customer since she made me aware of the problemWe have replaced the transmissionand motor mounts and have had two mechanics and a manager drive the vehicle before returning to the customerAll said that the vehicle is fineThe customer got her vehicle back from service on 7/14/The customer said they were pleased with my service and getting the problem resolvedHowever, the day after getting her vehicle back the customer said that something was still not rightAs I stated earlier, we had two mechanics and the service manager drive the vehicle before returning it to the customerand everything checked out ok

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]I am rejecting this response because: I have email confirmations that show your company stating that per a phone conversation, you were charging my card an amount we agreed uponThese phone conversations never happened and are fraudulentI also went in there and asked to have my card removed from the accountI was told my card was removed and again the company tried to withdraw money from my account which was unauthorizedLuckily, I changed my card numberAlso, do you realize that you charge 3-times the amount that the cars are actually worth except at the end of your terms, the customer does not get to keep the vehicleThis is preying on people with bad credit in which many businesses have had a class action lawsuit filed against themI am going to review other cases and see how to begin the process of a class action lawsuit Complaint: [redacted] Regards, [redacted] ***

Issue resolved! Complainants' credit card was permanently removed from her sister's account and a credit in the amount of was returned to her [redacted] on 8/17/

The customer had a lease contract that states after the last payment, that she must either make the final payment(residual) immediately, sign a six month extension, or return the vehicle since the lease is upIf the customer still has the vehicle they are expected to continue to payShe was made aware of this fact but expected to not have to pay and wanted a free extensionAgain, her contract stated that that shemust choose one of the above mentioned optionsAs for her unauthorized payment
