Performance Merchant Alliance put me with a new merchant service with out cancelling the old service wich is one they started me on a year prior
I switched to Performance Merchant Alliance july I leased a VX In Aug I wanted to upgrade to a new POS system At that time I found out I was in a 3yr contract At that time I was not willing to buy out my contract so I agreed to stay with Performance Merchant Alliance and be ungraded to there clover system The sales person was very uniformed about the clover but assured me that it would do what I needed a POS system to doI was told what the additional cost to lease the system would be and agreed to a new contract I was told over and over again that what I had agreed to in terms of the credit card processing would stay the same I ws told the colver came with a scanner It did not I paid extra for that I was not told that the clover did not process EBT sales If I was told that in the beginning I would have not

On 4-7-I *** was appr***ed by Jack R*** a sales rep for Performance Merchant AllianceJack made all these great promises about how much cheaper across the board it was gonna be for me to process my credit cards with this companyI t did seem Jack had all the appropriate training but I knew of Jack a friend and trusted he knew what he was talking aboutI also spoke with Miles S*** Jack's sales manager located in Dallas TXHe also promised me a savings of around a month after he seen my current providers ratesSo Jack r*** filled out the contract as instructed by Miles and then had me sign
Once I received my new equipment Jack r*** came out to install and loan behold nothing working properlymy wireless machine would never work or pick up a signal, card chip reader only worked half the time, customer support was horrible

Did not follow through with what was told to us by salesperson Said that we would be saving almost 1/of what we were currently paying another company When statement arrived it said that prices are going up (attached) therefore, we called and attempted to cancel We were told by Jennifer D*** (customer service) we could not
Also, we asked for contract, but did not receive it until after we got our statement

On January 8, 2016, Greg M***, salesman from Performance Merchant Alliance talked to me, ***, ***) about a credit card machine terminal; I told him that I was currently using Square debit/credit system, but if he could get me cheaper rates I would use his company I specifically asked Greg M***, salesman from Performance Merchant Alliance, if their offer was a day trial period; Greg agreed to write it in the contract Greg advised, the monthly fee to rent the terminal would be $ He did not mention any other fees and validated that I would not be charged for debit card usage Greg showed me figures of possible charges; if clients used credit vs debit transactions He validated, I would have my funds the next business day

I have not been happy with all the fees this credit card processing company has been charging and would like to move to a different supplier I understand the fee for the early termination fee, and am willing and aware it is to be paid PMA (Performance Merchant Alliance) is also requiring a liquidation damages fee for the remainder of my contract This I am told is not usual They are also charging me a $a month inactive fee if I do not process a credit card through them Eventually I found this on my contract in small fuzzy print underneath my signature No one ever told me or pointed this fee out to me
