We have bent over backwards in trying to assist [redacted] with her membership. As with most companies, for every clientwith a complaint, there are many more that are very happy with their purchase. In 2014 we have had 109 members place their accounts inactive to date another member exclusively, 6 members announce their engagements and 4 members getmarried. I was just informed by a member that he will be proposing on New Year’s Eve and I will be attending a wedding this weekend celebrating the union of two very happy and satisfied members. I am sorry that [redacted] is not happy withher membership, but I feel at this point we have done everything to try make her experience here a positive one. We wish her well.

This business is not professional at all! I asked for the prices over the phone and was told that it is best if I come in to discuss the packages. When I came in I was warmly greeted by the staff. I filled out the paperwork and was taken in by the representative. Once in the area the representative explained the services. I inquired about the pricing. The representative stated the amount would be $7800.00. I must of had a look of surprise because the representative asked me how much did I think it would be. I stated around $3000.00. The representative went out the room stated she spoke with a manger came back in with the price of $2700.00. I told the representative I needed to think about it. She showed me a picture of one of their members and told me he owned a few hotels in the area. The representative walked out and come back in and stated she got the price down to $1100.00. This was for the more economical package. I told her I still needed to think about it. The representative abruptly gather the paperwork and stated let me show you the door. She walked me to the door and closed the door behind me. I called the manager the next day and gave feedback as to the experience. I educated her in the fact that I did not think I would get the same experience because the price was dropped so low. The Manager Donna did not confirm or deny. She stayed silent. To me that is a confirmation. So in short I would have paid these people $1100.00 for a bone every now in then with not promise of any type of return. I will be sharing my experience with all the people that I know! P.S. Some people will not just give you their credit card. Some people will way the pros and cons before making a large commitment as this!

Ms. [redacted] claims she was unaware her credit card information was on file and scheduled to be run on June 30th. Ms. [redacted] signed the voucher granting us permission to run the charge on June 30th 2015 which contained her credit card information. A copy of this voucher was included in my last response. The
balance due was also written on her membership agreement which she also signed and was also attached in my previous response.  Ms. [redacted] received a call from her representative after she joined to answer any questions she might have and they spoke again on the June 30th briefly as Ms. [redacted] stated she was driving and would
return her call.
I encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact the office at (480) 941-0500 at her convenience to schedule a time for her Photo and Video session. We have already had four members announce
their engagements and two members were marries just in the past three weeks.
We are looking forward to assisting Ms. [redacted] in her quest to find love and companionship.

In 2014 Phoenix Singles had 6 members announce their engagements and 8 members were married. Already in 2015 we have had 6 members announce their engagements and 2 members were married. In accordance with Arizona State Law, Phoenix Singles honors 3-day...

cancellations. Ms. [redacted] never made any attempt at cancelling her membership via the proper, state-sanctioned methods (via certified mail or hand-delivered letter) during her cancellation period, which is clearly stated on our contract that Ms. [redacted] signed.  While I can appreciate that Ms. [redacted] is frustrated that the [redacted] men she selected did not choose to meet her, Phoenix Singles works on a “mutual consent” basis and cannot guarantee that someone will respond favorably to them.  We provide opportunities and assist our members in any way we can, but we can’t guarantee specific results.  Currently Ms. [redacted] has a gentleman waiting for her to respond to his request to meet her. On Sunday April 26, 2015 we hosted a cooking class in North Phoenix, Sunday May 31st, 2015 we had cruise on Saguaro Lake, Sunday June 28th, 2015 we had a day trip to Sedona, Thursday July 16th, 2015 we will be hosting a learn to paint class in Mesa and on Friday August 21st we will be hosting a tequila tasting at a restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale. We try to accommodate our members’ schedules. If there is a day she would prefer an event to be held so she may attend, please have her contact [redacted] at ###-###-####. I would like to invite Ms. [redacted] to schedule a complimentary appointment with our member advisor, Mrs. [redacted]. Ms.[redacted] claim that she was unaware of the agreement to run her card is false. This was...

clearly stated on her Membership Agreement which was signed and initialed by Ms. [redacted] as well as the signed
voucher which also has her signature.  Her membership representative called Ms. [redacted] on June 30th and was informed that she was driving and would return her call. No return call was ever received. On September 4th 2015 at 2:40 pm,  our manager called Ms. [redacted] and left a message to discuss  the letter we received and again no return call was received.
As no cancellation request was ever received from Ms. [redacted] within the 3-day cancellation period, I would encourage  Ms.[redacted] to use her membership and allow Phoenix Singles to assist her in finding
someone special.  As of January 1st 2016 to January 14th 2016  six of our members have announced their engagements. I have attached Ms. [redacted] memberships agreement as well as her signed voucher. Since January 2014 to July 28th 2014 we have had 78 members place their accounts inactive to date exclusively, four members announced their engagement and four members that were married. [redacted]’s reply to [redacted] email was in no way intended to insult or offend him. However, with the wording I can appreciate how he felt and I apologize on her behalf.The first few months of his membership, [redacted] was calling and texting [redacted] on her personal cell phone to discuss his membership and how she could assist him.She emailed him after he had been a member for nine months just to touch base because after her last contact with him he said he would call her back and she still had not heard from him. The member she was referring to was contacted on his behalf and forwarded [redacted] profile. Unfortunately she is interested in having children and he is not so she declined to select him.  We host three to four events monthly and find that they are a great way for our members to mingle in a fun and safe environment.  We have many success stories from members that met at one of our events. If [redacted] has no desire to attend our social events we can exclude his email from the list so he will no longer be notified of upcoming events. Please have [redacted]

[redacted] willingly entered into contract with Phoenix Singles and clearly understood his right to cancel as indicated by his signature as well as his initials next to the cancellation policy on the Phoenix Singles membership agreement. As a gesture of goodwill Iwould be willing to restart [redacted] membership and upgrade him to a VIP membership with personal shopper at no additional cost. I never said I was unaware of the 3 day cancellation policy. If I wanted to cancel would have cancelled within the 3 days but that was not my intent. I said I never agreed to have my card number kept by the business. The premise of the reply is completely false. I never received any messages on my phone. If true, the business only tried to contact me long after my initial contact with them and me expressing my displeasure with the way they handled my card. They only tried to contact me, if they did contact, me after I complained to the credit card company for services not received. Furthermore, if they truly left a message that was not returned, they could have emailed or written. It is just unfortunate this business relies on unhappy customers to make maximum profits.

This person is not a member of our organization.

Phoenix Singles caters to the entire valley. While most of our events are located in the [redacted] area, we try to host events valley wide to accommodate members that do not reside near the [redacted] area. I have enclosed a list of ourmember events as well as their locations...

I do not agree with Phoenix Singles response because I paid thousands of dollars for a service and have received very little if any help. I asked for help from [redacted] several times and got nothing. You are not allowed to try their service for any length of time to see if it fits your needs of which it does not fit mine. Since signing up I have done some resesrch and numerous people complaining about this place. I just want people to know what they are getting into before spending money for nothing. Go to [redacted] and there is people on there too. I wish I had someone to tell me how they operate. Also all those events cost money. After spending thousands of dollars they make you pay for the events. So not cool. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Oh and the 3 days they talk about is true but just when I was about to cancel and [redacted] calls me and plays on your insecurities. She tells me that I will be perfect for this and says I have nothing to worry about. I should have guessed right there that I was in trouble.

We are currently in contact with [redacted] and waiting on her response to resolve this complaint. Regarding the profiles that were shown to [redacted] on the day that she signed up with Phoenix Singles; all men were active at the time she joined.  In fact, [redacted] even...

selected three of the four men that she showed interest in during her first visit. The fourth gentleman placed his account inactive from 8/1/2014 to 11/4/2014 and is currently active in our database. [redacted] has selected 16 men that met her criteria of which 5 responded favorably and contact information was exchanged. As with most companies, for every client with a complaint, there are many more that are very happy with their purchase. In 2014 Phoenix Singles had 114 members place their membership inactive to exclusively date another member. I have been a member for a little over 4 months. What a difference between the online dating sites and Phoenix Singles. Between my Membership Rep and Member Services, I have been able to have a much clearer idea of the person who I selected or selected me. They have met and/ or talked with the individual members and have an insight into their personalities and desires. I also know the photos are recent and their profiles are quite factual unlike the online dating services. Realistic expectations are also brought into the conversations by the Membership Rep and Member Services. There are never any guarantees after all how can anyone guarantee love but through them one has much better chance of meeting that “special someone” due to their professionalism and direction.

By far one of the best experiences I have ever had. The staff is so professional and helpful. This service has completely changed my perspective on dating and I'm so happy I followed my gut and just came in and saw how it all worked. Donna has been great and always been there when I needed her. professional I would highly recommend this service to anyone who is serious about meeting that special someone. I just always recommend you ask for help, after all this is what Phoenix Singles is here for!

No I don't not accept the business resolve ,

 In regards to Phoenix Singles response I tried to work this out with them 3 times . I called without getting a call back , till I put in a refund with [redacted] . Phoenix Singles is a  RIP OFF  they under mind you and bait and switch you I went my money back and this to be posted so that maybe I can save one more person from this nightmare. [redacted]

Review: After a 90-minute very high pressure sales pitch from Phoenix Singles, I eventually relented and agreed to put down $750 with the understanding that I would pay the balance at the end of the month. What I did not know was that they had retained my credit card number and on 6/30/2015 run the credit card for $500 without my permission. Everyone knows how vulnerable we have become to credit card fraud and no one just agrees to their credit card number being kept just like that.

I wrote a letter to Phoenix singles on August 31, 2015 and never received any response. This organization has never contacted me to offer any of the services promised. I feel that as a bank you have failed me as your customer and preferring to side with the business.Desired Settlement: Since Phoenix Singles never provided me with any services, I would like a refund of my money. They never contacted me to offer any services or to resolve the dispute. I wrote to them they never responded.

Review: In seeking an online resource for singles over 50, I submitted an interest application based on the format the 50+ singles site offered. They then contacted me regarding my interest form and invited me to meet with them free of charge. I was under the impression that it was a singles agency for my age group primarily. I was offered me a 1 year contract, and stated that if by the end of that year I hadn't gotten married or found a committed relationship, then I would receive another year membership for $1.00. I was given a reduced monthly rate to encourage me to join, without stipulating that the fee would be covering 24 payments, instead of the 12 which were couched in the promise of a one year membership. At no time did Geraldine go over the contract to specify exactly how the payments would be taken, and wanted me to debit it out of my checking account. I was told that most members put it on a credit card, but I did not offer a credit card to them. I agreed to a debit from my checking account. I also put a deposit down of $125.00 that day.

No details were highlighted, including the one specified that new members only 3 days to cancel the membership. This is an unfair practice in that no client can have access to the database of Phoenix Singles in less than a week. Had I seen what was really available within the three days in which the contract could be severed, I would have withdrawn my contract. Once I had signed their contract, they immediately sold the debt to a loan agency called Universal Account Payments. This in effect took the onus off Phoenix Singles in terms of any refund. I did submit a complaint to the Attorney General, to which Phoenix Singles responded with my alleged agreement to all terms, including copies of emails in which I had attempted to accept that they were “on my side, and claims that I had fully agreed and was fully informed of every aspect of their contract. With these dishonest claims, the Attorney General stated that I would need legal assistance to address this issue any further. To date, Universal Account Services has debited my checking account since January 2014 a total of $950.00, while I have withdrawn my profile from Phoenix Singles. my signing of a contract that is designed to secure the consumer’s financial obligation before the actual product is offered. Selling my membership financial agreement to a loan agency is an additional way that Phoenix Singles secures its funding. Initially I had received a phone call from Universal Account payment to verify my status as a potential client for Phoenix Singles, and assuming that it was part of the process, acknowledged my agreement to go ahead with the monthly payment arrangement. This agency did not specify on the phone that they had already paid Phoenix Singles the entire membership fee. This all took place before I was allowed access to the database, which was two weeks after I had signed their contract. Meanwhile they did not grant me access to their database from my home computer until two weeks into this serious fraudulent arrangement. Within a few days, it was evident that very few singles were “available” and in fact revealed itself consistently to have half the members of its alleged prolific database, many profiles expired or shut down. For weeks I begged them to sever my contract even with a severance fee, but they ignored my calls until they said that they would do an exclusive search on my behalf. I tried to trust their offer, but within a month it was clear to me that I had made a terrible mistake and had no option but to pay for a service that had nothing to offer me. The Attorney General's response was to advise me to get legal counsel. At this time I cannot afford legal counsel, and the money that I continue to lose to a loan agency isn’t the kind of loss that a defense attorney would work with. I feel that I would be laughed out of court because I did sign the Phoenix Singles contract. My hands are tied in this respect, but I was told about Revdex.com as a last resort. This organization promises quality people to date. I have been a member for 2 years and have had a total of 2 (unsuccessful) dates. I am a very attractive woman, but I believe that because I joined while in my 60s, the pool of "quality" men was nearly empty, since most men want to date younger women... I was told that there was a high demand for older women and they would do everything they could to help me find a quality man. Well, I assumed that since the membership dues are EXTREMELY high, that there WOULD be some good men.......WRONG! Because you have NO DIRECT ACCESS to members, it is entirely up to the office staff to do the matching. I STRONGLY regret wasting my money on this organization...VERY strong sales pitch and they kept "lowering the fee" to draw me in...what a mistake. I am embarrassed that I spent so much $ with no results. I would be better of going to a bar to find someone!
