Review: Phoenix singles has not provided the service that they promised. They say they are a match making site but all they do is send a picture to you which is exactly the same thing you do on the site. They don't lift a finger to do any kind of matchmaking. Atleast [redacted] matchs you with people.

They charge thousands of dollars and do nothing for it. You can't email ot talk with anyone like on other internet sites which are way more fun. They used high pressure salesmanship even when I said mutiple times I don't think this is a good idea. I have been a member for more than 4 months and not one date or one interested guy. I would like a full refund since I signed up for a service which I have not received. I have talked with them several times and told them I was dissatisfied and not happy. They don't tell you that the men out number the woman and you don't have a chance to try out the service before dropping a whole lot of money. In fact you can't leave and do some research before signing the contract. I should have known that was fishy. Almost all the events are at their office in [redacted] on a Wednesday night between 5 and 7. Which they also did not disclose that. I work all week and live in the east valley so it is very hard to do those. At first they said they do all kinds of events all over the valley but most of them are at their office. Wish I had known that I would not have signed up. Please help me get my money back for a service I have paid dearly for and have received nothing in return.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund since I haven't received any matchingmaking help.

In 2014 Phoenix Singles had 6 members announce their engagements and 8 members were married. Already in 2015 we have had 6 members announce their engagements and 2 members were married. In accordance with Arizona State Law, Phoenix Singles honors 3-day cancellations. Ms. [redacted] never made any attempt at cancelling her membership via the proper, state-sanctioned methods (via certified mail or hand-delivered letter) during her cancellation period, which is clearly stated on our contract that Ms. [redacted] signed. While I can appreciate that Ms. [redacted] is frustrated that the [redacted] men she selected did not choose to meet her, Phoenix Singles works on a “mutual consent” basis and cannot guarantee that someone will respond favorably to them. We provide opportunities and assist our members in any way we can, but we can’t guarantee specific results. Currently Ms. [redacted] has a gentleman waiting for her to respond to his request to meet her. On Sunday April 26, 2015 we hosted a cooking class in North Phoenix, Sunday May 31st, 2015 we had cruise on Saguaro Lake, Sunday June 28th, 2015 we had a day trip to Sedona, Thursday July 16th, 2015 we will be hosting a learn to paint class in Mesa and on Friday August 21st we will be hosting a tequila tasting at a restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale. Since signing up I have done some resesrch and numerous people complaining about this place. I just want people to know what they are getting into before spending money for nothing. After spending thousands of dollars they make you pay for the events. So not cool. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My now boyfriend and I were tired of meeting the wrong kind of people. So when we found Phoenix Singles we both thought we should check it out and see what they were about. We joined with in a week of each other. Since I joined first, when my boyfriend joined, my rep [redacted] told me she has this great guy who just signed up and that she wanted me to meet him. I was nervous to go on that first date, but I knew I had to go for it and give us a shot to see if there was something there. We were excited to meet each other. When we went on a date we went to see a movie. We were both shy at first, but quickly became comfortable with each other and we were talking and laughing the whole time. I wasn't sure how I felt so I wanted to take things slow and be friends first. We communicated here and there for a couple of weeks. Then when my friend's wedding came up I invited him to be my date. That night we had our first kiss. Ever since then we have hardly been apart. After my ex-husband left, and all the jerks that followed, I really was doubting if I'd find the right man. However, I was so surprised and blessed to have found a man who is so loving and caring to my daughter and I. I'm so happy to have found my soul mate.

I have been a client of Phoenix Singles for over a year now and my experience has been very positive. The staff is truly professional and committed to me. I have met quality gentlemen through Phoenix Singles but realize the process takes time to find that special someone.
I have tried online dating sites where the men are dishonest and match makers who take your money and don't deliver.

The quality of service and personal attention provided by Phoenix Singles is well worth the price of joining. Since being a member, I have met a number of very classy and intelligent women. In fact, I met a beautiful lady that is so classy and fun to be with that I am dating her exclusively now.
When I initially signed up, Phoenix Singles did a complete photo shoot for me, helped find me compatible ladies, and was there for the many questions that I had. My last date before my wife recently passed away was in 1975! With the events, speed dating, lock and key parties, and learned a great deal about dating in 2014.
I would highly recommend that you give serious consideration to joining Phoenix Singles. It may be a little pricey to join, but in my opinion, you have access to so many wonderful ladies with outstanding support from the Phoenix Singles staff.

Review: I called because someone called me to join a singles group. I came to their place of business and [redacted] came to talk about their singles agenda. well she told me me they have parties and they will have marriages and guys will pay for everything. She said a girl got her plastic surgery free. She also went on I would get to meet this man on the folder and I said that looks like a model. well she wanted 7000 thousand dollars I said no way she would not take no for an answer she kept leaving to see how much my credit card could hold. Then she said put 3000 on this one and 3000 on the other one and only pay 100 a month that is only 1200 for a full year. She said I could pay this off in 6 months. Well I cancelled I thought on the third day well she said that Friday was included to cancel. She would not let me cancel the contract. I came Friday She made a big sales pitch so I Thought it would start Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday. I talked with her on Monday and I wished I would of cancel then. How can they do this to lonely, poor, people.?Desired Settlement: I want my 6000 dollars back, because I asked people, even that worked their and they couldn't find anyone. One guy had only 3 dates and he has been their a year almost two. I am really angry at this setup and I even asked how much it was over the phone and they said not much at all.

We have two current staff members that got married from our service and one that is in a committed relationship living with a member she met from our service. Currently only one staff member is using the service and she is just out of a seven year relationship and enjoying dating.

We have three to four events a month. In August we had a Happy Hour, Speed Dating, Game night and on the 30th we have a Diamondbacks game. Ms. [redacted] started making selections on 8/16 and has already received two yes responses and is waiting for 4 other men she is interested in to respond. Review: When I joined Phoenix Singles in 9 of 2013 a woman by the name of [redacted] had mentioned of a Blond girl that at the time just signed up and was going to send me her profile.I do remember her saying that at the time and never was sent a profile on her to check out. I think she used that to lure me in. She also said she would send me other profiles and in the beginning she did but then it turned into just meet-n-greet by outings that PS sends out to my email stating Events like cooking,bowling,wine tasting and so on and that I could bring a guest, well that's not what I want, I want to see profiles of clients and meet them. I also made a video to express myself and in turn watching other members videos noticing that the women being interviewed were from another Company called [redacted] which I was not notified of, seems to be False Advertising along with all the other stories. I have talked to some of the girls when they did call and the asked what I wanted in a profile and I had said that [redacted] Knows Exactly what I want and had to ex plane it again. Now I only get fluttered with email outings and have Not Seen A Profile In A While. I sent [redacted] an email explaning {{You had told me a long time ago that you were going to send me members that you thought would interest me and you and your crew or company has not sent me any kind of profiles in a long time. Last month I called Phoenix Area Singles from their online advertising. I asked what it cost and she said no quote over phone as they have different programs and was a great service. I set an appointment per her advice and she called me several times to ensure I'd be there. Met with a very attractive woman who promoted the program, showed me photos of available women, asked a lot of questions and brought in a program cost at $7,000. She left to talk with owner about a discount and came back with a huge drop in price. My red flags went up it was a scam and it was. I fell for it hook, line and sinker...can't believe it now. Came back for what I thought were free photos included with membership but was presented a bill for that. Again photographer left to get lower price approved...figured I was deep in this already so was conned again, my fault for being so trusting. No way to communicate with women on site, all has to go thru their office. And all the photos on site are grainy images, sure not the professional images promised in promotion. No results for meeting anyone yet and I sure feel taken advantage of even though I signed their contract. No chance of refund so just this real negative review so hopefully will prevent someone in a vulnerable position as I was to be taken advantage of.

Review: Phoenix Single's or Phoenix Area Singles, they have changed they name, that's a clue right there, and they also go by a Video Company Name (Scary when they have your Pic's and video) I went there thinking it was a meeting place for people with like interest out side fun stuff , from the get go I was told they had so many people that was Active and looking for likewise companions. All thought the Photo shoot and the Video I was told how sad it was I was still single and all this legal stuff about them not being a matchmaking service . Cause they was the real deal , Then it came the cost 5000 bucks,, yes 5000 for the premier membership and they could have me on the inactive list right away . I looked at her and said your out of your F...ing mind so I got up to leave and by the time I got to my car the cost had gone down to a 1000 for 2 years if I didn't go on the inactive list . So thinking Well I'll get the pic's and the video and maybe meet was good friends lady's and man . And I was paying with my [redacted] so I'll give them I chance . So I paid and was told right after that, that they give NO refunds. I told them You may not but ** will. Then I was told that , the 1000 bucks didn't get me on the web site and I'd had to came back down to them to look at the Dating Site , I also told her that distance was my main concern that I was looking for someone with in 10 miles of me . I know how I should have put that on paper , I did put the year range that they did not comply too. So I started getting E-mail's about their events and noticed most was at bar's and I had to pay a minimum or drink and drive from over 10 miles away nothing was close to me , So I went to one speed dating thing at there place , and found not one person that enjoyed anything I liked and all the man was not even close to what I would go out with , so I looked at their web site and found only 6 man close to me I liked and give her 500 n cash and told her to be happy to get that cause I was very unhappy and would be asking AE for the rest of my money back , she told me again they give NO refunds , over the next 4 months The 6 man I picked 3 was inactive the other 3 I only got one call with NO return call .. Phoenix Singles sent me a few profiles of man not ever close to me or that had no same interest, I also had lose 10 pound now 120 and called to tell them to change my profile and I had other thing's to change but NO one called me back then I called again and told them I was going to call AE and I was told she would ask if I could get on the web site but she had to ask her boss but no one called me back again. Review: Was invited to meet with a saleswoman at Phoenix Singles to hear and learn the services provided on finding professional men who were carefully screened and were eligible to date. Meeting with the sales person she was overly flattering and gracious (understood the sales tactics as like a car salesmen trying to sell you and melon of a car) but understanding this big push for why I should sign up after an hour of her buttering me up...she quoted me an incredible amount of money to sign up. Threw away and forgot the exact amount as it's been over a year since I was there for the "Big Pitch Sell." I know it was between $3,000. to $6,000. with it came a promise of finding professional men who were screened. Shocked by the price I said definitely NO!!! Push push push! Left the room telling me she'd see what she could do about the price to lower it. Thinking I was no fool and had nothing else to do, I'd be on top of this and hear her game. Came back saying, "If you promise not to tell anyone, I'm going to let you sign up for $1,795.. (have to look at my bank statement for exact amount, but it was that and a bit more...). Okay, I didn't say yes..... At the start of her initial sell she of course said how beautiful and vivacious I was and could date most of the men around my age (give or take a few years). She brought in three to four large colored photos of men that ,of course, I'd go out with...tall well dressed and wanted to travel, theater, fine dining excitement as I see myself. These were men she claimed were single and ready to date me. After the huge increase in sign up price and telling me how many dates I have each week, month etc. SHE HAD HOOKED ME LIKE A FISH! I signed up! Little did I know to look at mens profiles I would need to drive from [redacted] to [redacted] and search their computer for prospective men. SHE DID NOT TELL ME THAT! I assumed I would have access on my computer for that price (like [redacted]) to view and communicate with men. No this was an extra fee each month ($35.00??? or so). I had gone into their office about 3 times to view men....1. most of them lived out of town(not committed to a good relationship) 2. many men had their pictures/profiles on their web site, but were temporarily not active, or perhaps like me sick of their lies.

I tried numerous times to meet men that "I" was interested in. In the months that I was active 5 to 6 ??? I had one date (not interested in him). Yes, they were also called numerous times by me looking for them to send me some good matches....I had to be persistant with calls ....they sent a few but the service was poor and nothing to say I was getting over a thousand dollars in service.

I'm a kind respectable person, but about 5 months ago with the needless frustration I called/texted and stated they had deceived/lied/wasted my money and time with their BIG HUSTLE! Calling at first to discuss some of the issues like the 1. extra fee to pay monthly to use my own computer to view mens profiles was not addressed....it may have been on the back or front of the contract, but CLEARLY I was not informed of this 2. showing pictures/profiles of men unavailable, kept in their file to entice prospective clients to buy in 3. Incredibly poor return on phone calls and locating men who I gave frequently what I was looking for 4. Received probably 5 profiles in the amount of time/months I was giving it my best shot and staying positive 4. instead of building me up as the initial interview went, I felt that I had none of the qualities and nothing to choose from.

They are a scam company! I talked to other people mostly men who had said they gave this company thousands just to be ignored and the promises were lies.Desired Settlement: I may not receive a full refund, partial or nothing for that matter as it has been a while since I said "I HUMILIATED AND SADDENED THAT I FELL FOR THIS!" but I am about principles and honesty and ethics....service to me is valued, but they drove me over with their poor service. It's all about the money. Who could charge thousands to one client then reduce it to one or two thousand to another; hat I am asking for as this company has covered all their basis with the Revdex.com and other agencies to look like they're providing a great service. as they show to others they are doing. DECEPTIVE!!!!

My desire is to form a complaint to them TO THE Revdex.com....and hopefully for anyone interested/wanting love/dates/friendship/fun/laughter/dating etc. to not waste your money on this scam. I want Phoenix Singles of [redacted] to know I have a grievance with them and will inform others to STAY AWAY! It's an unethical business and should be investigated with more controls set into place.

On Saturday 9/22/2013, I had an 11:15 appointment for a free interview to evaluate the service offerings of this business.

At the interview, one form I signed was a questionnaire. Item #16 stated a credit inquiry would be done as part of the screening process.

I unfortunately made an assumption that the credit inquiry would only be done if I signed a contract.

I did not sign a contract and expect the credit inquiry to be removed from my Equifax account.

I would also like to report on my experience of their process for selling their services. They began with an Intro Rate of $7795.00 and through my constantly saying no, they came down to $1995.00 and informed me I should not tell any member what I paid should I become a member.

I appreciate anything you can do to remove the credit inquiry from my account.

When I joined Phoenix Single's I was scared to death. I have never been married, and just wanted to live happily ever after. It was nightmare after nightmare with the online dating. Even though Phoenix Singles has a database, it is private and only members can access it. I met my fiance through this service and it was the best decision and investment I have ever made. The staff was amazing from their professionalism to making me feel right at home. I took advantage of attending the events and met a lot of great people and made a lot of new friends. The member services staff along with my membership rep made great suggestions for me which let me to my match. I thank Phoenix Singles every day, because if it wasn't for that initial phone call I decided to take, I wouldn't be living my fairy tale.

I have been a member of Phoenix Singles for over a year now. I found the staff to be professional and courteous. They truly are dedicated to looking out for the client. I have had many positive interactions with the staff and with other clients. Keeping in mind that meeting the right person does not always happen int he first few months. I recommend Phoenix Singles to any busy professional who is tired of the dating scene and not willing to look in a bar for that special someone. This is a safe, positive and professional group.

I went to Phoenix Singles at [redacted]. Because a woman called me to have a consultation with her on 3/27/14. Arriving there I was given a preliminary quest sheet to fill out. A couple questions asked, were they would want to run a background check and run credit. Asked for Social Security #, I told receptionist, that I wasnt going to give that information, until I knew what I was getting into. Went into consultating, found out the price of 8k, immediately I told her that was too much for this. She demonstrated rebuttles, then she understood I was no longer interested she walked me out. This morning as I get to work around 9:30, I get an alert from my credit watcher, that an hard inquiry was ran against my credit. Immediately I called Phoenix Singles, and asked them "why they run my credit if I didnt agree to your services?" Then asked "how did you get my SS#?" They couldnt give me a straight answer. From there I called the Scottsdale Police to see if I could file a report, because I feel my privacy rights were violated. Im scared now that somebody is going to use my credit, why would they run it, if we did not come to terms and I rightfully denied their services. Whoever got my SS# could get my SS# whenever they wanted. I am a victim of identity theft in the past. Im scared this might happen again. Stay tuned to future complaints if this happens.
