This lending company went above and beyond to assist me when I mistakenly overpaid my mortgage payment If you are not in a hurry to resolve an issue then go through the regular agents, but if you need immediate assistance I highly recommend going to the Supervisor You will not be sorry! It is important to consumers like me to find out how a company like this can possibly destroy someone's credit without any direct contactFortunately, I keep a good check on these types of thingsI am hoping to keep this from happening to anyone else

My husband and I recently purchased a modular home through Clayton homesCascade financial services were quick to give us a pre-approval, and then worked personally and diligently with us to see us through to closingWe worked with Cami and Jessica (not sure if I can mention names) but they went absolutely above and beyond for usWe had a couple of hiccups during the process but these ladies really worked hard to get us in our homeI'm happy to say we closed and are now awaiting the arrival of our new home but honestly, I feel like I miss them already :)
We originally had preapproval from Cascade in March We found our dream land and placed a contract with them and was advised closing wold be end of JuneWe placed $with the title company for the landWe were not informed of the closing date to be changed until we had to call Cascade on 6/22/Cascade then informed us it would take longer to close since there was something on my husbands credit that was being disputed and if we paid $they can fix this and close soonerThe sellers of the land didn't want to have an extension of the contractWe ended up losing our dream land and half of our $we put down since Cascade didn't inform us earlier about this problemSo we our out $of the down payment and $we paid to Cascade
I secured an FHA loan for a manufactured home from Cascade recently and the entire process was smooth and I'm very happy with the results I went into the process knowing that securing a year fixed FHA loan on a manufactured home could sometimes be difficult but with Cascade it was no problem at all Jason was a pleasure to work with, he talked to me up front about what to expect and then I was transferred to Megan who processed our loan and who was a joy to work with and was on top of things every step of the way She called and e mailed us with updates and what was needed and how the process was going and when closing should be and everything she told us was spot on There was never a time I had a question and had to wait for her response and she was always careful to take the time to answer any questions we had and how things were moving along, very professional and a pleasure to work with from start to finish My wife and I are very happy we chose Cascade and we are in the home we wanted thanks to their diligence and hard work Nothing but good things to say about the company and Jason and Megan
Really the overall experience was one star, with that said Jocelyn was very pleasant and helpfulThe processor that was assigned however, Kelly B., was a nightmare She was rude, condescending, and unprofessional All of these "qualities", I could have tolerated for a short period if I was given reassurance that she knew what she was talking about, but her conversation within the first five minutes of speaking with her proved absolutely otherwise Kelly advised that the permit and site plan process for my area would take months Naturally we were absolutely discouragedOnly to learn after I call my county that their process times with a completed application is 5-days Then kept asking when we would sell our existing residence inferring it was absolutely required, as I advised her that was not something discussed with other lenders ever; she then corrected herself and said that the underwriting "may" require it Seriously, your not talking about selling a couch, this is a house, a house we presently live in Notwithstanding, our Debt to Income for all others, this was never an issueThen she went one to very rudely demand cancellation letters from the other lenders we were working with to see which is best one for us, or threatened she would not move our file to underwriting We later confirmed that was absolutely not required, it's only required to close which we knew In the end, we ended up going in another direction as in order to close the loan, they required a building permit (or site plan --which for us is concurrent) be approved prior to closing, which translated to we had to pay the school impact fees and all permits before we could even close the loan and get fundingSo essentially, pay the fees and you still put yourself at risk for not being able to close the loan for various other factors that underwriting might later on findI would not even be writing this review, but for the unprofessional behavior of their processor We would have just walked away with the other lender we selected Long story short, the company should really assess the QA of some of their staff as it could very adversely impact people that are just looking for help and their own bottom line

My husband and I were in a process of buying land and a manufacturer home with Cascade FinancialWe had problems with them not having correct information or losing paperworkThis process took over three months, we were told we have been approved from underwritingThen my husband was offered a better job and before we did anything we asked them what would be required to if he switched jobs before we close, they told us at the most days of pay statements, but an employment verification form should workLong story short they completely lied to us and the manufacturer home placeCascade told the manufacturer home place they told us months, and I have every email from them staying days pay statementsEven with solid proof they still denied usIt's bad enough they took months to do paperwork after they told us multiple times we would be able to set a closing date soonAfter all of that they are keeping our deposit for the "land survey"
