I have had my mortgage with Cascade for the past years and I have never been happier with the service of a home loan They are all very professional I streamed lined my house with them for a lower interest rate a few times and the process was very smooth and timely They kept in close contact with me and let me know how things are progressing Their service is like none I have ever experienced in a lender and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mortgage company that is honest, friendly and professional

I am a first time home buyer and was referred to Cascade by a dealer that was looking to get me approved for new homeUnfortunately we were unable to agree on monthly payments, however I contacted loan officer *** about getting another property (home land combo) financedHe assured me that we would be able to get that done and asked for address and information on homeI didn't hear anything from him over 2weeks do I tried calling To touch baseTo this point for over months now I have only spoken to loan officer once (will not return phone calls or emails or is on vacation/ out of office for weeks on end), his 1st assistant which asked me to get her the same information I had previously given *** (which screwed all the information up from beginning), a "assistant mang" Cami whom assured me on April 20th the documentation was going to get updated but I needed to go into the portal and esign release and *** was going to get back on the following Monday for me to call him then

I had the pleasure of working with both cody and Kelly I calied almost every day seems like and Kelly ALWAYS took the time to explain the process even if it was the 10th time I've asked All I can say is that she truly seemed to care and was there to answer anything I had to throw at her!!

Cascade is pleasant to work with! Roscoe S*** is such a delight and very helpful!

Great lender, awesome loan programs and amazing customer service

I attempted to use Cascade Financial for a ** *** on an established modular home on acres of property in Texas Bottom line up front, the experience was horrible and ended out with the sellers requesting a termination from the home sale after Cascade spent more than days processing this loan with no end in sight
The loan spent more than weeks in underwriting I would be asked to provide documentation, and then asked for the same documents a week later The excuse was always that the IT department had blocked emails when multiple requests for information already submitted were received In addition to losing submitted paperwork on a regular basis, Cascade attempted to open a homeowner policy in my name, asked the tax assessment office to remove easements from the property, and other requests that gave myself, the realtor, and the tax office the impression the underwriters had no idea what they were doing Customer representatives in both Texas and Arizona routinely failed to return phone calls and failed to provide an update on the loan the past week until the sellers decided this extended drama was no longer worth the wait It was only AFTER I informed Cascade that I was terminating the mortgage that they got back with me regarding the status of the loan
In summary, this company wasted over days of time, cost the sellers and I approximately $in inspections and fees, and failed to provide a completed ** *** so that we could close on the property days AFTER the contracted closing date I strongly recommend against using Cascade for any ** ***s

HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT USE CASCADE!!
I applied for a loan with Cascade for a construction to perm loan July here I am Sep and not only have I not been able to physically talk to someone until it came to the very end for the 3rd endFirst time around everything was approved and moving only to get to the appraisal and them to come back and say out of a $228,loan $278,financed amount they wanted $100,down payment to make up for the appraisal as they were comparing my new built home to Old Single wide homes on nothing more then an acre of land versus a brand new triple wide on acres of landIt took a cascade rep to actually go into my builders office for the Rep to tell me builder that there is a different loan option that I should doThis loan option was their Portfolio loanThe down payment is a little higher then an FHA and the term is years not All of that was understoodHere we are almost weeks later and I get my 4th approval letter from themLoan amount $228,financed amount $248,interest rate is 9% down payment 5% loan payment $Dropped $30,from the financed amount, paying 1.5% more on the down payment, and dropped PMI but my payment went up $a month So now here I am 1/months later and I have lost the land I had under contract had no option or time as I have to close by 9/24/to try and find a different lenderNot to mention this whole time numerous emails numerous calls and could not get a single return phone callI did get some emails returned but my questions very rarely got answeredIts been nothing but a nightmare and ridiculous surprises, as I had tried to get information many times and never got the information until the end when I was surprised with $100,at close the first time and $more a month on the monthly payment the second timeNot to mention I have been waiting nearly 1/weeks for them to return the $appraisal fee they collect after asking many times without answer
DO NOT USE CASCADE - Only reason I gave star is because I was required

I was nervous about the home buying / building process and this company completely put me at ease They were super professional and were always quick to take my call or call right back The customer service was amazing!!! They always answered all of my questions with professionalism and patience I highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking to buy a home

Cascade is working to resolve the previous reported problems with processing payments in a timely fashionCascade has been in contact with me via email and phone to resolve, which is appreciatedIf this processing issue is resolved, I see no issues with Cascade going forwardMuch improved service with calls and emails

Horrible customer serviceEmily is incredibly rude and just has a very "bill collector" attitude, yet I have never missed a payment nor have I ever been over days late the entire time I have had my mortgageI understand they need to call for various things, but when I pointed out how rude she was being, Emily told me "she was returning the favor" Then proceeded to keep going on and on about how rude I was, as I was talkingWhat professional company has employees like that? I couldn't imagine a more established firm ever tolerating employees that were like that
In customer service there is no reason they should ever argue with anyone, they need to keep a level head and realize they represent the companies interests and not their own
It is nearly impossible to even get anyone on the phone, and their website has links to email, but nothing seems to go throughJust be cautious when dealing with this company, there are much better mortgage companies out thereI am so glad I am going to be selling my home and getting out from under such an incompetent companyI am already working with a new company for my next home and it is like night and day

I have been working with a gentleman at Cascade named Dustin for approximately a month now in trying to secure a re-finance He was very eager to get my information and help me start with the application process Once we hit an unexpected snag in the process I have not been able to reach himI have left several voice mail messages at his extension x*** as well as sent him e-mails I have yet to receive a response and am now questioning the legitimacy of this company and building a relationship with them for 20+ yearsEspecially considering they already have my taxes, SSN, paystubs, etcThis is all very disturbing

Cascade Financial could not have treated us any better in pursuing our dream modular homeThey were very personable and worked hard at getting us the loanChad and Michael were awesome and I could not be happier

Not all lenders are the sameNot by a long shotI've dealt with other lenders and did not have good relationsCascade Financial on the other hand went above and beyond to get my deal approved and closed within a reasonable time periodThey are far more knowledgeable than most lenders I've worked with - or maybe they just care a lot more
While all the people I worked with at Cascade was a pleasure to work with, Jason, Wendy, Marina, Amy, and Jennifer were especially wonderful and made sure to keep me updated as to my loan status - even it if was to let me know there was not update yet
I will definitely use them again and would recommend them whole-heartily
