First and foremost, Pittsburgh Singles takes every member complaint very seriously, and it concerns us that Ms [redacted] was so unhappy However, Pittsburgh Singles has a firm ''no refund policy'' (See paragraph 4aof the contract, which states: ''EXCEPT WHAT IS OTHERWISE PROVIDED HEREIN, THERE IS NO RIGHT TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT Pittsburgh Singles does not grant refunds or accept cancellations of any kind, unless otherwise stated in this agreement.'') Once a person enrolls in our membership and pays for our service the sale is final No right exists for that person to obtain a refund any time thereafter simply because that person changed their mind Ms [redacted] became a member of Pittsburgh Singles on August 23, 2015, purchasing nine (9) introductions To date, Ms [redacted] has personally received one (1) introduction Ms [redacted] has refused all service from Pittsburgh Singles, immediately requesting a refund Pittsburgh Singles has tried on numerous occasions to speak with Ms [redacted] about her dissatisfaction, but Ms [redacted] will not return the telephone callAs stated in paragraph 3bof the contract (which Ms [redacted] initialed), ''An introduction is made when Pittsburgh Singles provides you with a name and a phone number of another member.'' Additionally, paragraph 3b (''PREFERENCES'') of the contract states, ''Preferences are used as a guideline for Membership services when seeking potential introductions As introductions are based on an AS-AVAILABLE basis, introductions will be made that are as nearly compatible to a member's preferences at any given time.'' Further, the same clause states: ''Pittsburgh Singles, its agents and assigns, do not represent the characteristics, availability, quantity or demographic maof its membership base at any time You, the Member, acknowledge that the membership base changes on a daily basis due to changes in membership status, including, but not limited to: new enrollments, expired membership, members becoming involved in relationships, members traveling, and members temporarily suspending their memberships.'' Further, an Addendum to the contract, signed by Ms [redacted] states the following: ''...I understand that my preferences are 'preferences' and not 'requirements' If at any time Pittsburgh Singles is unable to select an introduction who fulfills all of my preferences, Pittsburgh Singles will select an introduction who is compatible with my preferences but who may not meet all of the preferences I indicated in my profile.'' Having said that, Pittsburgh Singles is generous about replacing the introductions that do not result in meetings or result in very disappointing meetings Ms [redacted] is no exception to this generosityBecause Pittsburgh Singles aims to please, Pittsburgh Singles will work hard to find the right introductions for Ms***Based upon an analysis of Ms ***'s membership file thusfar, it appears that Pittsburgh Singles is providing service to Ms [redacted] precisely in the manner he contracted for Pittsburgh Singles is performing according to the stated contract terms and services are most definitely being rendered as agreed At Pittsburgh Singles we understand that when people become members of such a personal service they may second-guess their decision Customer satisfaction is important to Pittsburgh Singles, and our staff looks forward to continuing to work with Ms [redacted] in the process of finding that right matchPittsburgh Singles has kept its side of the agreement and has remained within the parameters of the contractMs [redacted] is not entitled to a refund

Worst dating service ever! They said they would do all this stuff & said they listen to what their clients say but they pay no real attention to anything initial netting discussion or any feedback that is given on your profileI want a refund from all of this & just try to move on with my life in a more positive way

They tell you they have a many singles that they can match you with when in fact they don't! They make you pay the full amount upfront and then you are literally up the creek without a paddle They are a big rip off and should be shut down!

Pittsburgh Singles is willing to give her an additional four complimentary introductions with the express understanding that Ms*** needs to be more flexible with her height requirement for the gentlemen she is introduced to. We understand that height is very important to Ms***, but Pittsburgh Singles believes her preference of gentlemen being over feet tall has made it difficult for the program to succeed. Pittsburgh Singles recommends that Ms*** be willing to accept gentlemen who are 5'9" and taller, with the company's understanding that she prefers taller.If this is acceptable to Ms***, Pittsburgh Singles will reach out to her and work on providing the next introduction

My rebuttal against Pittsburgh Singles in that they clearly did not follow my preferences as stated. They would send me 5'6" height men. I'm 5'8" tall. I didn't want to date anyone over years of age. They sent me a referral who was 67. He looked 76. They sent me a man who claimed to be divorced but in fact was a widow of only months at the time I met him. He was the first referral they sent me. He had a 40+ adult son living in his home who was a paraplegic.
This company is nothing more than a scam and should be shut down. I would appreciate a response to this email and want it posted on the Revdex.com website so others will read what this company has done. Once they get your money that's itThank you,

I am writing in reference to Pittsburgh Singles response to my complaintIn meeting with the representative, as I reviewed the contract, and asked questions, they explained their terms verbally in such a way to convince me that $3,was a fair price for their service
For instance, they told me the introductions didn’t mean contacts, but successful matches that I had met with face to face
The matches were people who were good matches, and they had me detail the things most important to me in that other personFor instance, educational backround, religious orientation, and interestsIn addition, they told me they did criminal history checks and credit checks to make sure these were safe as well as persons who are who they say they are
They told me they would be honest with me, and that if they did not have good matches with me, they would refund my moneyIt took a long time before they had a match, which they sent minimal information on the personThinking this was a good possibility, when this person asked me to send a photo of myself and asked where I lived, I gave him the information right awayThen, as I spoke with him, he had no indication of any personalityI asked him for a pictureWhat he sent was a man in the distance with sunglasses and a hatI couldn’t see who he was at allMy gut made me concerned as to who this person was, but I just did not pursue it, and he said he was going away and to tell the Pittsburgh Singles I would like a new referral
The second person, I again waited and thought it was going to be a good matchMet with twice, at 12noon and then in the late morningHe had been drinking alcoholAt the second meeting, he showed me his gunHe had both serious cognitive problems and health-asked to ride bikes but he was so impaired that I was concerned he was going to have a heart attackAnd he proceeded to tell me of a heart problem
I attempted to question how they were determining these matches, and they were extremely defensive, and asserting I should trust them and give these other members a chanceThe next guy was very nice, but had continuous emergencies and tragedies, and kept putting off meetingI wanted to take my time before judgingWe met a few times, he insisted on meeting near my house, and evasive about his family and community-but to make a long story short, I found he was lying to meHe said he had to work and I found him driving by my house when I came outside to go in the carI realized he was driving an older car he owned, and had his hat down lowI tried calling him and he didn’t answer at first, then left me a message very nervous and said he was just leaving workIt was very creepy-I wondered how many times he had been doing this-and if he was doing this to othersAlso, if he didn’t want to meet me in other areas because he had gotten in trouble for stalkingI reported this to Pittsburgh SinglesI asked them to contact him and tell him if he comes around at all I would call the policeThey did not call him, he had continued to call meThen I called them again asking them to call (they admitted they did not)I now realized they did not regard my safety, and that it was likely they are not doing criminal checksThe next two people that called (referrals) it only confirmed that they were not screening anyone, nor really looking for any kind of reasonable match. The next person started the conversation about guns and was only looking for someone to shoot guns with himI believe he was unemployedThe next person was unemployed, uneducated, living with his x wife, renting a room form her
I stopped responding to these referralsI am concerned these folks are thieves, and they ripped me off completely of $3,
They are now referring in their defense to their contractMy question is: who would pay $3,for what they are describing as their service? They expanded on what they had in writingThey lied to meThey are thievesAnd they took my credit card and explained to me they needed it to do a credit check on me. I am concerned they may also do further criminal harm: ie-identity/credit card theft

We certainly can appreciate Ms***'s frustration with Pittsburgh Singles, but the company is most definitely not a scam. We have had so much success over the years with members who are willing to stay the course and be open to realizing that just because one "preference" might be a little different than what he or she had wanted, successful matches are about so much more than height or looks, etc.It seems Ms*** is not interested in receiving any further service, which is what Pittsburgh Singles is offering instead of a refund. The refund policy is clear, as are all terms and conditions of membership, which are laid out in the written Membership Agreement.If Ms*** would like to resume service, we ask that she contact Member Services to let them know. But as stated in our previous response, Ms*** is not due a refund

P.S- I wanna thank the Revdex.com for all your help! Also the company did not give me a refund and the charges are still on my credit report and I also received a bill from them about weeks agoI'm sorry for the delayed response I'm a truck driver so I'm usually driving over the road
