The sales pitch for a tub to shower work was outstanding. The end price is a little high, but because of the presentation, we agreed to the proposal. The proposal include all paperwork requirements, i.e. certifications from HOA and local city ordinances etc. We were informed that this would not be a problem.
We live in a townhouse condominium. Our HOA has certification requirements. Our next door neighbor had similar work done about 8-9 months ago, by a different company. Their company fulfilled all the HOA requirements.
PJ Fitzpatrick appears to be having problems meeting our HOA requirements. I emailed them a full copy of the requirements about a month ago. I get calls from PJ Fitzpatrick to start work, while the paperwork has not be completed. I am not sure if I am dealing with one company or several sub-contractors.
Disappointment that contract was not honored (written and verbal)
Total gutter replacement that required the replacement of one rotten board behind a section of gutter...I specifically asked about the painting of the board and the contract writer (employee of P.J. Fitzpatrick) assured me that the board would be primed and that priming would be sufficient. At the completion of the installation on November 25, 2024, the board was unpainted and behind the new gutter. I can see a lot of the board sticking out and unpainted. Upon calling the company, I was assured that they do not do painting and that the contract writer would not have agreed to a contract that required painting. In spite of this, the Fitzpatrick employee on the phone further assured me that he WOULD have a painter come and paint the board by the end of that week (November 30th), but I had to buy the paint myself. Today is December 12 and I have not heard back from Fitzpatrick. I bought paint and I am ready and they are not honoring what they told me on the phone. I will not call them again to do any other work for me.
We contracted with PJ Fitzpatrick of Harrisburg, PA to convert our bath to full walk-in shower. Before the job was completed we changed to a fold-up seat as opposed to the permanent bench seat. The workers were very understanding and emphasized that our satisfaction with the project was most important. The workers were very professional and courteous. Great experience from the free estimate and options, to the day of install, super friendly, kind, helpful, went through everything with me, asked me during the process for my input, height adjustments, where to put shelves, etc. They arrived on time, respected my home, left it clean, and post inspection, gave me free bath cleaner and what to use, what not to use in future, etc. Love the lifetime warranty by jaccuzzi bath and PJ fitzpatrick if anything is wrong in the future. Experience with this company has been corporate blow-off hell for a year and a half. They make visit after visit, different contractor every time, all unacquainted with details, demanding patience. Door installed initially on structural defect, now repaired. Door still malaligned, with wide drafty gap, hard to close. Nothing fixed. Second winter upcoming. So tired of their pathetic I'm Sorries. I want the issue fixed. PJ wins the Lifetime Achievement award for Crummy Work, Crummy Service, and Crummy Company.
8/17 PJ Fitzpatrick sent 2 guys to install a Shower kit . Ben n Jon, these 2 guys did a Fabulous job n fixing other probs as they came along.My house is Old n they had to adjust things here n there for this Beautiful kit to fit !They got the whole job done about 7:00 pm and I am Very Happy with the outcome ! PJ,You have 2 excellent Workers ! Thank You for this Beautiful Shower set up !
Door installation was an argument start to finish. They then installed the door on a wall with a structural defect, which I knew nothing about, until the unanchored wall slipped off the foundation, making the door unable to close properly and cracking the trim. To repair the wall, the door must be removed and reinstalled. Bob in warranty said it's not a warranty issue and sent the matter to PRODUCTION. One week later, no follow up. So I cannot coordinate the wall repair with the door installation. Guess I'll have to sit here with no door.
PJ Fitzpatrick's repair specialist, Erich N, did a very nice job fixing the support under my sunroom door Erich was on time and demonstrated professionalism throughout the entire course of his work on my property
I have done business with PJ Firzpatrick for years and they have always completed the work on time and with no mess left behind I have used them for siding, roof and gutter and the work was excellent I am currently in another home and getting a new roof put on and I know the work will be the sameThe lifetime warranty and the fact that it is transferable to a new owner is something you don't get from other companies I would highly recommend PJ Fitzpatrick as a company for your home repairs

Two years ago I attempted to clean my own guttersI fell from the ladder and suffered a SCII needed a reliable, trusted company to clean my gutters this yearI have used PJ Fitzpatrick in the past so decided to give them a callOn the day of my apptit was pouring rain, yet Paul came out and talked with me regarding my guttersWe rescheuldedHe showed up on time and began his workHe completed the work, explained everything he was doing and even showed me picturesI am very pleased with his work and the reputation of the company!
Ms [redacted] and I spoke today and explained that we could have done a better job explaining the types of roofs we service She has a tar roof and while the roof is technically not flat, we do not have technicians that specialize in working on tar roofs We would have no problem servicing her home, we just can't help her with the type of roof she has I appreciate Ms [redacted] brining this to our attention and I will pass this information on to our customer service area to insure we do a better job of explaining what type of roofs we can, and cannot work on Please let me know if any additional action is needed [redacted] President
