Replaced roofs after hail damage, house and garage, summer 2015. They did a super job. Polar Builders came in with a top-notch crew and replaced the roofs in one day. This may be hard to believe, but it is clearly the best roof job that I have ever seen. The contractor explained every thing clearly. When ever I had a question, I was able to talk to the contractor within 10 minutes. These guys have training and certification from a supplier that allows them to give the longest warranty in the business. They were fast, easy to work with, and did superior work. What more can I say?

Polar builders were here when they said they would be. They were prompt and completed the job in a timely manner. They do great work! We would recommend anyone we know to work with Polar builders because of their commitment to customer care and support. Polar builders and theirs sales associates have been an amazing company to work with. They walked alongside my family and me as we have struggled with the insurance company’s paperwork. Polar builders is an A+ company!

Please see attached Insurance loss Statement with the total approved claim in the amount of 15890.06.
There were only two items that were not done by Polar Builders: staining of wood shake for the amount 1551.10 and replacing the skylight kit...

for 75.01 (please see page 5 of the insurance statement) all other work was performed by Polar Builders in the professional manner with no quality concerns. All items that were not done were deducted from the total. The outstanding balance owed is 1255.53
The initial invoicing to the homeowner did not include General Contractor's overhead and profit that most of the time gets approved by the insurance carrier after all work is completed and invoices are sent to the insurance company.
It clearly stated in the attached contract signed by the homeowner that any additional funds, supplements or overhead and profit that are paid through insurance proceeds related to the work is owed to Polar Builders.
At this time the balance of 1255.
Customer repeatedly asked to keep insurance proceeds for the work Polar has done. As it has been explained many times in the insurance restoration project the contractor is obligated to invoice the homeowner for the exact amount that the insurance company allocated for the approved scope of work. Anything short of that is considered insurance fraud and becomes a license violation. Please refer to MN Department of Labor and Industry for any clarification on this matter.
At this time the past due amount of 1255.53 is due in full. The payment is due now and any delays will result in late charges and other fees related to collections.

This email is an explanation for the complaint submitted by Yang [redacted] in regards to an outstanding balance of 1255.54. The balance is owed based on the Safeco's insurance approval involving a window project performed by Polar Builders. The amount charged equals the amount Safeco agreed to pay for the replacement of the windows. Please see attached proof. Yang ** did make their final payment of 1255.54 after he was explained that he could not withhold any funds from the insurance claim allocated for the repairs. Polar Builders was hired by the [redacted] to help them restore their property after the June 2017 hail storm. As we were getting ready to replace the roof we advised the [redacted] they had a choice to make regarding the damaged gutter toppers.The gutter toppers were damaged by hail and full...

replacement was paid for by the insurance company.We advised the homeowners via an email and phone conversation on Sept. 29th that they would need to have the toppers removed to prevent further damage. We provided the homeowners with our Gutter Helmet waiver which states the toppers should be removed to prevent further damage.The [redacted] declined to pay out of pocket to have the toppers removed and told us to proceed via email on Sept. 29th. The main issue here is the [redacted] feel Polar Builders did not fully advise them of the potential issues that could happen if the toppers were not removed. Polar Builders feels we did provide them with the information.    The [redacted] want Polar Builders to pay for replacing their damaged gutters even though the insurance carrier paid for them to be replaced. There were no reported issues with the quality of the roof install. The only problem with the job was related to the gutter toppers.

I had my roof and several windows replaced by Polar. Service was great from start to finish. There was a misunderstanding about a window which was addressed to my complete satisfaction. I was told they "want me to be happy" and I was.

I hired Polar Builders to replace the roof on my house after a significant Hail storm in May, 2015. They were very prompt, their crewmen were very great and hard working, and they cleaned up the work better than I had hoped. The roof looks great, and I could not be more happier! I hired Polar builders to replace my roof after a hail storm. There was a lot of damage in my neighborhood and many roofs were being replaced. The whole process was easy and fast. My roof was replaced quickly and the work was done very well. The crew went above and beyond to make the home look great and do a quality job. Dan was always quick to respond to any questions and kept me updated in the process. Clean up was done and the crew was respectful when on site. No regrets.

Polar Builders did a fantastic job replacing our roof. They worked closely with the insurance company and all communications were prompt and straightforward. They did the entire roof while we were out of town for the weekend and when we came back there wasn't a trace that they had been there other than the beautiful new roof. Polar Builders was engaged to repair two asphalt-shingled roofs with hail damage at the Willow Lake Office Condominium office park in Vadnais Heights, MN in October, 2015.From the start, the experience was strongly positive.
