We were behind with our house payments this past year as we lost $2071.00 in income each month for 2021 and a temporary loss of job from Covid in 2020. We had gone into the Forbearance plan thru our mortgage company . According to the info they provided, they were just going to tack on the missed payments onto the back of the loan but evidently that was not the case. We called Matt and Mike of the Porter Group again because we did not trust our mortgager, since we had used them in 2020 for a modification about what to do then. Between us we concluded we needed to do another modification, similar to the process we had been thru in 2020 to reduce our house payment as the interest rate was 6.75% at that modification in 2020. They helped us with all the paperwork required for a new loan modification and we ended up with a three month trial period and a little lower house payment at a new interest rate of 3.35%. We did everything they had told us to do to accomplish this new rate. We are so happy we worked with this Company and we cannot rate them high enough on a scale of 1 to 10 because they would be an 11. Mike and Matt stayed positive thru it all and helped us to relax about keeping our home. We highly recommend calling them if you are in danger of losing your home! I would highly recommend this company when needing a mortgage modification. These people (Matt & Mile)have help us out two times now both times we had a hardship. When they say they are going to do something they do it! Approved means just that.

Matt and Mike we excellent. We were struggling to keep up with our mortgage and were about to loose it when I came across their add. When I got the call from the Porter Group I was afraid, stressed, and wondered where they got my contact information. This was certainly a spam call, therefore, I would not answer the call. I was behind on my mortgage and was paying mortgage plus additional monies in order to catch up on my back payments. I could not afford those payments. I had given up. Two weeks passed and they called again and encouraged me to go ahead and try it. I gathered my data and sent all my documents to them and six weeks later I got approval for my modification. They guided me through the entire process and I was been very pleased with their performance. I highly recommend the Porter Group.

Working with Matthew and his team through this stressful was a huge help. They were very informative and helpful through the whole process. I would highly recommend them.

I was lucky enough to find the Porter Group through a friend at church that had just recently had their home saved by Mathew & Michael form the Porter Group. I contacted them about 2 months before my house was to go for sale at my local courthouse. They first reviewed my file with my servicing company PHH and found they could accept my file. Then sent me a contract and list of conditions I needed to get. Once the file was opened the routinely kept me up to date and I received lots of follow up documentation along the same lines from PHH a week or two after theirs. After about 2.5 months I received a trial modification from PHH and saved about $300 for 3 months. After the trial the payment went down about another $40 and now is permanent completed file. Thanks again for all your help and great job guys. FYI I tried this 3 times on my own for a 1.5 years and kept getting denied for different generic reasons.

We were in a very difficult position with foreclosure on the horizon. We sent in a questionnaire to get help and we got several responses back, but one response stood out over all the other responses. Extremely happy with the service I received from the start to the finish. I actually paid 2 other companies who did nothing for me . Was very nervous to do it a 3rd time, but they made me feel comfortable with the entire process and how it was guaranteed. I recommend the Porter Group for anyone who is considering a mortgage modification to lower their payments, or save their homeI have been trying to get a meaningful reduction in my mortgage since I was able to get a $reduction in my mortgage from Bank Of America back in but this was only because Bank Of America was forced to offer some mods to certain customers by the Department Of Justice because of a law suit filed against them [redacted] and Mike V were extremely efficient in handling my case and I could not believe how quickly my Modification request was pushed through the system and approved for a Tier Mortgage Mod Trial PeriodIt only took about a month and a half to get approved for a Trial Payment Period I am also extremely satisfied with amount that my mortgage payment was reduced, somewhere between $and $monthlyThis includes mortgage,taxes, insurance and hoa dues Finialy I would like to mention that [redacted] and Mike v made me feel pretty good about my chances for getting an approval from the start, since they researched my file with SLS to verify hat there were no flags that would indicate potential issue that might come up to prevent getting an approval Awesome results !!!
