I just want to say to anybody thinking they are about to lose their home to not give up and call these guys. I was about to not only lose my house but my family from all the stress that comes with this. I had tried for about 2 years by myself and spent about $8500 with several companies who all went out of business. I was refereed to this company from a good friend at church and was he ever so right about them. They not only saved my home from a sale date I had when I stated but saved me over $1000.00 a month with a 2% for 40 years. I have nothing but great things to say about the Porter Group. I was eighteen months behind on my mortgage, I had received a modification in 2012, and thought I was going to lose my home.

Almost in desperation, I contacted the Porter Group. They were very professional and gave me assurances that they had gotten many people modifications that had been in the same situation, and some even worse, than myself.

I was not convinced until I called four people they had helped in the past. Every person had a similar story to mine and all had been helped but the Porter Group. I decided to trust what the referrals had told me, and am I ever glad I did. My modification was approved in a month and my payment went from 1391.93 per month, to 755.10 per month. I can now sleep again and I feel great.

I recently had my mortgage modified using the Porter Group. I did not think it was possible as I have tried getting my mortgage adjusted several times, with only rejection letters to show for it. Since the house was under water, it was not a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac and I was not behind on the payments, I was left with little or no hope for relief. . In short using Porter and paying the fee was a Hail Mary stab.
I have been pleasantly surprised by the out come. Matt has answered all my questions promptly and it all got accomplished in a little more than 3-4 weeks. Prior attempts went on for months and got no where.
Some things remain to b accomplished, but I am sure Matt will continue assisting me getting me through the next phase.

I was ready to walk away from house,when I saw porter groups email. They said they could do better then what I was offered in court. I was thinking, this was another scam as a lot of people on the net were saying. In fact, I was about to cancel my contract with Porter group, When [redacted] gas me over 20 client names & numbers all over the US, for me to talk to. I called aprox 10 clients & heard the same story that Porter group was the real deal & got them a great modification. These people seemed honest enough, so I went through with my contract with porter group. Although this was a tough case & dealing with Ocwen loan servicing ( one of the worst banks with many law suits) After 6 months I got a sweet heart trial modification that will be permanent after the trial payments Thanks Porter group

Just a note to let you know how happy I was with Porter Group's representation of me during my remodification. I would recommend to anyone needing such a service. They made a very difficult process much easier.

For anybody that is thinking of using the Porter Group for their expert services I would highly recommend them, as they truly saved our lives. We were facing a sale date within 30 days and already had our house boxed up, but no idea where we were going to go. I am sooooooo happy that you guys called me when I was packing up my house and losing all faith in finding help. I would truly recommend the Porter Group. They quick to respond to any of my questions even if it was on the weekend and I was informed of everything that was going on. We could not of gotten a loan modification if we had not had the help from the Porter Group. We tried to do a modification ourselves with no luck at all and no one would touch us to refinance our mortgage. God Bless everyone at the Porter Group!!

I contacted The Porter Group on a whim, I had received several other emails and solicitations regarding home modification/refi without success. Talked to Matt and Mike and they were positive that they could help me. I received detailed instructions from them on the documentation and the process. I submitted the documents in several phases and I was immediately contacted after they received them. The communication between me and these guys was phenomenal. I received back a proposal that was absurd, of course it was after hours but I emailed them anyway. They assured me that this we were not settling for this and that better things were comingjust to be patient. They would remind me to keep documentation current and were quick and letting me know they received the documentation. I received a phone call as soon as a decision was made from Matt. If you are considering not hiring these gentleman, please think about it agin! I was very skeptical to say the least but I just felt like they could help me. So many people said to me they are just a scam you can't trust any of these people, well guess what, I stuck with them and they got me the modification when they were foreclosing on me. They kept me calm when I would call them freaking out on them, and explain to me just hang in there we will get this done. It took a year but was worth every dime I paid them! I just want to say this company is incredible, they kept my bank from kicking me to the curb after years fighting them on my own. The got me lifesaving payment at almost 50% of the original payment and did it under 3 months. They held my hand the entire time and answered my emails no matter how late at night I sent them.
