Very favorable experience. The workmen were courteous and knowledgeable. Great program to help homeowners take responsibility with their own power production.

Overall I was pleased with Power Home Solar. The cost for equipping my home with solar was reasonable. They handled all permitting and coordination with the power company. The installation team was friendly and professional. The total installation took nearly a week, not the one day originally estimated. The design team erred on the number of panels that would fit on my roof, discovered at installation, but I was satisfied with how they solved it. From signed contract to installation was about 2 months, as advertised. My primary critique is that they were not clear with me that their estimate for projected savings and payback period was based also on contributions of their additional "free" Energy Efficiency Package (smart thermostat, blown in insulation, LED lightbulbs, attic tent, etc.). In my case, I had these already and so I declined the EEP. In my view, they should have at that point corrected their proposal to accurately reflect my situation and to make sure I was properly informed. I had thought the EEP was just an extra incentive to choose their company, not that it was literally part of their estimate for my power savings. In this sense, I felt I was misinformed when I signed the contract. Overall, though, I do not regret going with Power Home Solar and would recommend them.
