Hi Mr., thank you for taking time to write your review, we appreciate it! I'm glad our team delivered for you. Best wishes to you in going solar!

We had Power Solar Homes install solar panels on our roof. Mike K & crew were cheerful workers; all four of the crew both proficient & efficient. You should hire them for your solar installation.

Hi ***, thank you for being a Power Home customer, and thank you for this review. We do try to make it easy for all of our customers. Glad all has been well for you!

Product is a great concept and a well made product, but they lack professional installation. My initial install was non-symetrical and crooked. They are in a big hurry to get the job done, no Journeyman on the job and not even sure if they use a tape measure. The customer service people have been a big help, but it comes down to non-professional installers. Another issue is how they deal with the power company. They have no relationship with the power company and the turnover from install until the benefits of making your own power is ridiculous. Love the concept and it's an American made product, but service needs some work.

One of the reasons I purchased my house was because of a brand new roof with 50 year shingles that was installed a couple of months before I purchased it. However, I’ve learned that you should know the company that installed the roof and whether or not they are reliable before moving forward.
I started this adventure by discovering that the drywall around my kitchen windows was getting wet, so I called the roofing company and never got a reply. I asked someone else I trusted to take a look. They told me the roof was put on incorrectly around all my skylights. So I called the company back again. After multiple calls, they finally came out and looked at they roof. The person who came out said the same thing, that we need to redo the roofing around the skylights. He fixed the roof by a few of the skylights and it fixed the leak around the windows in the kitchen.
A few months later I was up in the attic for the first time and noticed rotted wood on one side of the roof. It is to the point that if you step on that part of the roof you would likely fall through it. It seems as if the roofing company simply put new shingles over bad wood. I reached out again and was told it wasn’t a priority since it currently isn’t leaking. I also noticed a new leak around my downstairs bathroom. I mentioned both, but still they aren’t willing to take responsibility for improperly installing the roof.
So fast forward to the last few weeks. I have a new leak pouring out of the drywall in my kitchen. After calling everyday for a week they sent someone out that I feel didn’t know much about roofs other than to use a bunch of tubes of caulk. I noticed that he wasn’t even looking at the correct spot on the roof. So I called Brian, the manager of the roofing crew out of Charlotte, and told him it was leaking again. Nothing. A week later, post caulking “fix”, it rained and it’s pouring out of the drywall again.
I’m not sure what to do next. I probably need to get a new roof, which is sad since this company was paid two years ago to install 50 year shingles.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They do not stand behind their work and they send people out who cannot communicate with you. I can’t even imagine what would happen if you buy solar panels from this company. That’s a huge investment and then you’ll likely get screwed down the road.
