Solar panels work great when they are working. Was installed in January and took until March to get them working. I had to constantly call to keep updated and to keep them informed of what they were suppose to be doing. In September I went without my panels working. Took the whole month to get someone out to fix them. Right now going on two weeks with them not working. Once again having to continue to call to try and get something done. To me customer service is terrible. Worst I have seen. They always say I am sorry and I will help you and nothing gets done.

The installation crew at Power Home Solar was great. They worked through some nasty rain but always had a great attitude. My project was a little complicated, and there was a delay here and there, but communication was great and I was always informed of what was happening next. My system has only been “live” for less than a month so I can’t speak to the savings, but up to the point of going “live,” I’ve been very impressed with Power Home Solar.

September 7, 2018 Power Home Solar was scheduled to install the solar panels that we had agreed to. I agreed to the price of *** on September 4 with the Power Home Solar representative. He told me that the final price after rebates and bonuses would be the *** and that was all I needed to worry about paying. I was told the entire process would be complete in 6-8 weeks. After the solar panels were installed, I spoke to the scheduler the same day about scheduling the inspection. It was supposed to take place the following week. It is now November 27 and I have just been able to make an appointment for December 4. With that installation, the company replaced my thermostat. The thermostat failed last night. I have 2 children living in this house with the low temperature of the day at 30 degrees. I called the 800 number supplied on their website and was told, by the most disrespectful customer service representative I have ever dealt with, that I needed to redo the wiring for the thermostat myself. So not only has this 6-8 week process turned into 3 going on 4 months, but there has been no attempt to fix the faulty thermostat, to finish the job that they started, or to address the pricing issue.

As for the issue you raise with your contract, all of the documents you signed as part of your solar agreement showed the $*** price. Where the $*** number comes into play is the net cost after the 30 percent federal tax credit. Hope that explains the difference. Thank you for being a Power Home customer. I am glad that we could get you the help that you need.
