We are EXTREMELY satisfied with everything Powerhome Solar! We were curious about solar, but were reluctant, but when rep Josh traveled 3 hours to our home to sit, explain and answer ALL our questions, we looked at one another and said "it's a no brainer!" Our estimate of installation was 4-5 weeks, but it was only about a week and a half! The actual installation only required ONE day! The entire process has been very easy and smooth. We aren't completely online yet, but this should occur within the next few days. We're excited to start saving!

This company refuses to provide terms and conditions OR quotes to customers before the customer allows their high pressure sales people into their home.

Around October 2018 I had solar panels install through Power Home Solar. The gentleman installing the product were very unprofessional and when we were asked to take a survey we informed them of this. After this we started experiencing complications. They were unable to monitor our system and later they had to come an replace the invertor. Why installing this the workers had sparks coming from the power box. My husband was unable to use his welder in the garage because we found out that they had screwed the cover back on through the wires that were previously installed for his welder which was in our garage. The men that came to replace the inverter told my husband that the inverter appeared to be working however, all of our wires in the attic were not installed right, wires were crossed and he stated "were lucky our house didn't burn down". He did replace the inverter just on the chance that it was shorted out like some of the wires. That evening I received a call and was told they still couldn't monitor our system and that it was our fault because we didn't have a router at our house (something we were never told we needed). They said it would be okay they just wouldn't be able to monitor if something went wrong. I was not okay with this and told them I didn't want to pay $*** for a system that wasn't completely doing it's job. We were reimbursed for the month of Nov for our loan payment and was assured that it was working 100%. we received our power bill due in Dec and it was still elevated but the system was only supposedly working since Nov 20 so we didn't expect to see a big change. We received our bill due in Jan on Jan 4 and it was $***. Almost double from what it has ever been. We contact Power Home Solar and spoke with Miranda R and sent her a copy of the power bill. We have not received any calls, or emails other than the confirmation of the bill. I have left 2 voicemails and sent another email with no return communication in ret

The crew was very polite and worked through a cold rainy day to install the solar panels. They removed their shoes when inside the house to minimize tracking mud everywhere. They also answered my questions and walked me through the system.

Solar panels work great when they are working. Was installed in January and took until March to get them working. I had to constantly call to keep updated and to keep them informed of what they were suppose to be doing. In September I went without my panels working. Took the whole month to get someone out to fix them. Right now going on two weeks with them not working. Once again having to continue to call to try and get something done. To me customer service is terrible. Worst I have seen. They always say I am sorry and I will help you and nothing gets done.
