I am rejecting this response because: this business demonstrated no customer service and bordered on the line of discrimination and inequitable practicesNot only was I charged this additional $for a sensor light after spending $2,and after the business kept my car for several days, I was told I would have to put down $in order to make this appointment to get my repair work done--they asserted that they didn't want to purchase the part and I not show upBeing an African American woman, I was offended and received the message well that they didn't trust I would keep my word/the appointmentEven after uneasily moving forward, they called me while doing this work and said they found a bearing that needed repairing, which would be an additional cost of $added to the original estimateI paid this alsoThis entire ordeal reinforces why the general population distrusts repairman--they take advantage and seize the opportunity to penny pinch customersI was charged $labor fee and $part fee ($tax) for the sensorI reject the thought this business thought they were giving me a discount or courtesy, after I had to go through the ordeal of picking up my car on 6/and paying $$1,(I had already put down $for them to make the appointment and order the part) and then having to calling them back hours later 6/because my engine light came on and they would not take my car in on the 19th, a FridayI had to bring it in on Monday 6/I know I should have never been charged this additional $if this business had ethics and good customer serviceI know this because almost the same incident happened to a Chrysler customer and this business, after the customer returned his car, did the sensor work as a good faith business

The customer service, the assistance and advice provided by Prestige Auto Works to you, I believe was performed with great skill.Patiently we took our time to explain our findings during our diagnostics We shared our knowledge and recommendations in great detailYou even were able to speak to the technician for technical details that most people don't care to understandNot only did we clearly communicate during the process of your diagnostics, we continued by emailing you the exact estimates and clarify details in writing via emailWe allowed you time to consider the repairs for your vehicle and understanding the extent of all the recommended repairs we willing to work with you toward completing the goals for this vehicle of extended period of time.I understand that you did not anticipate a large repair bill or hoped that your truck would require minimal repair to pass the smog inspectionWe simply put together recommendations for the best outcome, based on our diagnostics and the condition of your vehicleAt times a partial repair may meet your goal, but we strive to provide a complete recommendation so it doesn't require multiple tries to reach your goalIt was quite a surprise that you would try to get out of paying for the diagnostic inspection once you came to pick up your truckWe calmly responded, and even printed out the email reminding you of the total due upon pick upI don't know what you're going through, and why at that moment you were so bitter and disagreed with usClearly additional repairs were required to pass your smog inspectionWe are not offended by you choosing to complete your own repairIt still doesn't seem reasonable, on any terms, to agree to pay $for diagnostics and then expect to get out the door only paying for a $repairSince you did not even have a coupon in hand, what grounds did you have to even continue arguing the terms? On our Neighborhood Shopper coupon, it is written: $Diagnostic Fee Waived with Repairs restrictions ApplyAsk for detailsWe are very consistent in awarding the diagnostic coupon toward completing the recommended repairs, whether immediately or upon time time of completionYour disregard for the quality of time spent on your vehicle was very offending [redacted] does regret the mistake of clarifying your behavior to your face, and we do apologize for the name callingIf that young woman was indeed your mother then it's hard to believe she would allow her son to continue on the way you did, with such disrespect for authorityI know I would not stand by my son and allow thatOur apologies for loosing our cool with you

I am rejecting this response because: per the shop the warranty was voided because the rear CAT was not repaired when they replaced the one CAT for the 2nd time? The car was towed from them to another shop to have the rear CAT and all coils replaced and the CAT they replaced still broke downIt does not matter where the recommended repair is done as long as it was done and it was and the vehicle was not driven until after the rear CAT and all coils were replacedThere is no way a supposedly brand new CAT breaks with a few months and then again within a week.?

I have trust Prestige Auto works with my vehicles in the past so when my extended warranty was over I knew whom to turn toOn 8/5, I called to let them know I was having my car towed in and requested a diagnostic8/7, I received a call letting me know the EWS needed replacing and programmingHowever, it would take a few days since the part needed to be orderedI approved itOn 8/9, spending almost $bucksI drove off thinking everything was greatThe next day, I noticed a hard start but did not think anything of it since it started on the second try and of course trusted Prestige’s work Not even weeks go by, I’m about to leave for work and the car will not start except lights, radio on hmmm, I think okay maybe a flukeTry again and it works, off I go, days later I go to leave for work, turn the key and nothing, the car will not start AGAINSitting in my car, I tried to start it and nothingI attempted for a few days, different times, nothingThe same issue as to w

Although we suspected leaky injectors, there is nothing else at that point to leak and therefore, based on our testing and inspection (not a guess) we recommended for the customer to replace the injectors and the repair was completed upon their approval.If the customer is still having performance issues, we do need to see the vehicle and complaining about money already spent on repairs will not help.It would not cost any more money for us to inspect it at this time

I had timing and a CAT replaced at the end of April In May the check engine light was going on and off, each time I would call but was told to bring the vehicle back when the light stays onThe light did not stay on consistent was finally able to bring the car in May and the code was read as CAT (no repairs), light went off againJune the light came back on and we took it to the shop and they ran the code and it was a misfireAbout a week later the car stopped running, had the car towed to the shop and it was the same CAT broke and the misfireThey replaced the CAT and stated I needed to replace the coils and rear CATI had the car towed from their shop to another shop who replaced the rear CAT, coils and spark plugsTwo days after this was done the check engine light came back on the CAT was the codeI contacted the shop who replaced the CAT and was told the technician will not work on my vehicle and I should contact the dealer for perhaps a faulty part

To address your responseIt's obvious you will find every excuse to blame the customerThe bottom line is, the vehicle was not repaired properlyI called and explained that I did not have the money to have the car towed againAll stated in my complaintNEVER once did anyone mention roadside assistance mentioned OR financing optionsThese options would not have been needed IF the car was repaired properly the first place I was nothing but patient with your establishmentYou allegedly spend hours figuring out what was wrong with the vehicleWhile, never considering the additional expense/ hardship this has cause meLike I said before, why did I pay for a diagnostic if the issue would not show up? I paid for the first recommendation and it did nothing to my car, my car left with the same issues I brought it in forI trusted Prestige to have my vehicle repaired properly for the issue it came in forI agreed to paid the amount first quoted in good faith that my car would be repaired properlyHow is this the customers fault that you allegedly spent time evaluating it? I cannot believe no one figured it could be the ignition switch in the first placeYou put the fault at the expense of the customer, if you were a honest establishment you’d find this was an error on your partNot even two weeks I called to let you know my car was having the same issues I had initially bought it in forI would have brought it in sooner BUT I did not expect Prestige to charge me for their mistakeI know you will find every excuse to fault the customer, which shows a lot about the character of this establishmentGoes to show good, trustworthy mechanics are hard to findI will seek counsel

I had taken my vehicle to this shop for repairs because it was hard to startthey looked it over and told me it was a leaking fuel injector with a failing mass air flow sensor they also advised that it would be a good idea to replace all injectors thile it was being doneso I agreed to pay the $for the job and later that day they called me at work and said its done and its running great and good performance so I was really excited to come get it after work I showed up there after work and paid them for the service but as I startd my car and was ready to leave I noticed my car was still not running right so I went inside to tell them and they told me "its ok its probably just carbon buildup on the injectors should be fine in a couple days" so taking that advice I started for home in rush hour traffic on the way home my car stalled out in traffic times and had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running, I eventually got it home and called them right away and told them

Apologies for not getting you the invoice you requested. After I had some work done at Prestige I ended up selling my truck, and I'm having a hard time finding the paperwork. I've got estimates, but I still need to find the invoice/receipt Thanks,*** ***

With a vehicle that has multiple issues, it may be frustrating and time consuming to narrow down all the repairs until it's back to normalWe have only completed recommended repairs that where recommended AND Approved, because we did find faults that required attention.As stated on the customers
invoice:Warranty on parts and labor is one years or 12,miles whichever comes first Warranty work has to be performed in our shop & cannot exceed the original cost of repairWarranty not provided when customer supplies partsAll parts are new unless otherwise indicatedWarranty is on original workmanship or part failure due to defective manufacturing and our policy does not cover repair labor or parts as a result from delay or loss of use, abuse, neglect of additional repairs/regular maintenance or heavy duty wear.So if the customer chooses to continue his diagnostics and repairs elsewhere, there is no warranty coverage on our repairs with another shop

Came in to get a car inspection on a Cadillac CTS car was in perfect condition; pass inspection nothing wrong when brought in, when I left there my speedometer was not working, my check engine light was on and I couldn't get the key out of the ignition I can turn off the car but the key in still in the ignition and I cant't get it outI went back there twice

This shop has the worst customer service you’ll find anywhere I brought in my truck for a smog failure diagnostic, for which I used their coupon, which reads ver batim: “Diagnostics is $With this coupon we will credit $toward the labor of your recommended repairCannot be combined with other discounts or special offers." I confirmed the coupon via phone with the receptionist, ***, and brought the truck to them
Their diagnosis comes back to claim I need multiple items fixed to pass, totaling $1, I decided to have one of the repairs done immediately, a leaky vacuum hose, because it was the end of the month and money was tight I planned to have more work done after my next paycheck They told me they would credit me the next time I came in for the other repairs I planned to do Initially I agreed to that, but then decided I only wanted the vacuum hose done at this time I went in to pay and they wanted to charge me $for diagnostics plus $for the repair Wh
