This is a perfectly good
scooter in very good condition with less than miles of use and only needs a
simple part to be as good as newNow with my blog
and social Medea I am going to make it my life mission to let everyone on earth
know what kind of garbage your company sells and how you treat your customers
This scooter did not even go miles and broke down and your greedy company
can’t even supply simple parts and take care of a good customerYour company
makes a lot of money on scooter’s you should not have to cheat elderly people
to make even more moneyNow fix this scooter or give us our money back.!

A request for a price quote was made for this customers chair by the provider for a headrest, recline and attendant control Pride does not sell or modify or fit customers for products providers have that role.
Pride send a parts quote to the provider
who passed it along to the customerThe provider asked to take off the power seating and leave the headrest and attendant control When Pride ran the serial number it showed a standard seat Pride questioned the provider becuase you can't modify a captain seat You would need a special seating system on the unitPride was unaware that at some point the customers seat was upgraded to a model seat that could accommodate modificationsThe dealer stated the chair already had a tilt
Pride provided a quote for the headrest and attendant controllerAs of this morning a quote was provided to the providerThe attendant control is for an attendant to operate the chair not the customerPlease understand that Pride is the manufacturerProviders are the folks that see customers and are in the industry to fit customers for products and also make necessary changes to existing products based upon their doctors decisionsI believe there was a lack of communication somewhere along the way as Pride would have sent the correct quote sooner had we known what to quote for on the productThank you

I'm sorry but Pride will not replace the product based upon the breach of warranty outlined in your Owner's Manual. Thank you

The Name of the Manufacturer is Pride Mobility ProductsThey will not disclose the name of the source Manufacturer to meThat is part of why we are here they are price gouging and refuse to allow consumers to buy individual repair parts because they wish to sell them as setsThis causes the consumer to purchase un needed and un wanted extra parts to get the part they needThis is totally unfair and they should be forced to stop this practice

Pride will set up a one time job for evaluation and repair of the lift chair.Someone will contact you to make an appointment to come out to your house
Thank you for your complaint The scooter is over year old The horn is a wear item and the shroud was damaged not defective I will however out of goodwill replace the seat for you I will set up a job for a technician to come out and replace it for you

I do however, point out that the scooter is NOT OVER year old as I did NOT get this scooter until NOVEMBER so should something else become an issue on or before NOVEMBER I will be in touch again

Dear Sir:
I see that you called into Pride's Call Center on April 25, At that time you did not have the serial number of your power chair and were claiming someone from Pride told you that the parts would not be covered Pride does not have anyone that would go out
to look at products that are *** units I believe you were referring to ATG Rehab who is another providerPride left messages for *** at *** *** *** at the time and didn't hear back from himPride has no notes in our system about denying you a warranty and I believe there was a miscommunication somewhereThe parts should be covered under warranty and the provider doing the repair should be notified Labor is not covered under Pride's warranty as noted in the Owners Manual
Dear Sir:After careful review of the documents Pride has decided to
offer a refund to you the purchase price of $1,594.00. If this resolution is acceptable please let us know. If you agree with this resolution Pride will set up a job to have your scooter picked up and the refund given to you at that time. A technician will call and set up an appointment that is convenient for you. Thank you for your note regarding your lift chair. I apologize that you have had issues with Pride's lift chair. This is most unusual as Pride puts quality first in every product it sells.I would like to send a technician that would be hired by Pride for the purpose of evaluating

I am rejecting this response because:
*** *** *** *** Crystal Lake Illinois has
contacted your parts department and was told the parts were not made anymore,
then we found the same part on a new scooter and your parts department told us
it is the same part but has a different program installed in itThis is very
sad way to do business, I am quite sure if Pride Mobility disclosed up front
this expensive scooter would only last for five years my father would have
never purchased itThis is a perfectly good scooter in very good condition
with less than miles of use and only needs a simple part to be as good as
newI also think it is unfair to ask the tax payers to pay for a new scooter
when this one can be easily fixed with a program in a part you are still
making and we found on a new scooterThis is why Medicare is making cutbacks and
going brookThe serial # on this scooter is ***I am very disappointed
in Pride Mobility, This scooter should last ten or fifteen years easy with good
care and maintenanceThank you for
your anticipated cooperation in
resolving this matter without more taxpayer help
