Once a buyer to seller horror story
Let me write a review from. A once buyer to seller
I am far from alone in these type of stories
1st you can’t criticize them on there social media or your banned
Been banned from there Twitter account
I was recently banned from there FB
For advertising my items and said of you don’t want that you want mine
(They advertised a Josh Allen card but no where did they advertise my signed Josh Allen Football)
When I questioned the owner Jared Kavlie he got back to me fairly quick
Looked into it and he came back with
They said I was banned after they said they asked me then asked me then asked me
I questioned Jared to show proofs
As I was NEVER asked even once
So they lied to the owner and about me
Few weeks ago while pushing my items a person commented that he was happy with me for having a good luck with them while he did not
I commented back saying all wasn’t great and I received a email 1 email from customer service saying
I should not bash on social media
Now let’s get in to selling with them
They 1st require you send a list of items you are selling for approval
I did as asked
After approval I sent 2 big boxes to them
Cost me $300
They do start listing rate away
2weeks in I get a email saying a item I can’t list and a damaged item are being sent back
Damaged card was a patrick mahomes graded 10/10 card that has sold on there site for over $700
Of course you can’t call or live chat with anyone all done bye email which is usually 1 email a day if your lucky and it normally doesn’t answer your question so you must email again
Find out it was a item I purchased from them that NFL says they can’t sell
And a card case was cracked which was in great shape when I sent graded 10
That cost me $30 for them to send back
I asked if box was damaged as I purchased insurance
Never got a answer
They lost a item Ken Norton that has his hand print on it
They had JSA and Beckett redo COA’s that came from them
Keep in mind each item they have JSA or Beckett cost you
When you question it you get a run around answer
They charge a min $7.50 and have the right to start at $1 so if it sell’s for $3 you owe Pristine $4.50
They don’t advertise your items on there FB page unless it is a high priced item
So I did my own advertising on there site
Which I feel helped sell my items so we both benefited
Guess they did not like that so lied to the owner and blocked me
You have no say at all how they sell your item or where they list it
So far my sales have been $ 9,129.00
There share is $1,960.00 plus 17% from buyers of the $9,129.00 part
Equals almost $4,000
Cost to ship to me and other costs they did on me $103.00 (Now at 130)
Keep in mind
Not counting the minus part where you end up owing then
You are not allowed to have any suggestions
Because the email systems for sellers sucks
They get 15% from a sale then charge buyers 17.% so they make 32% off each sale with a minimum of $7.50 from the seller
I have questioned about my lost item for weeks
Still have items missing that had legit COA missing
All you get it
There was this many items on this box and this many are posted and this many are awaiting COA never what it is
As I have a list of every item sent to them and the COA number and company
To charge me for a COA that came from them to start with
To charge me to return a item they sold me they approved for sale
To have a expensive card that was graded a 10 get the case cracked when was fine when sent
But purchased insurance
But could not get a simple was package damaged
To be banned over lies
If they didn’t like my style of advertising my items they could speak to me or advertise for me
Maybe the almost $2k they made off me wasn’t much in there mind
So I tell everyone
If you want to sell
Be weary use caution
They only care about high end stuff
They won’t push your items at all
But they clearly will take there cut
You took the word of a employee when there was no proof
You clearly decided to side with them even though they lied
They still have 20 plus items of mine
Would never recommend selling with them if you want value of your items

Poor advertising
Poor communication
I so want Pristine reply ad I have every email
1 email couple weeks ago saying about bashing them
You want a company who cares this company isn’t it
You want a company who wants your items to sell as much as they deserve
This company isn’t if
I will NEVER buy or sell using them again

They have made 23% off my sales
Add the extra fees it comes to 25%
17% from buyers equal 40% a item
Comes to almost 4K from my % and buyers %
Update:Jared contacted me after I filed a claim with the BBB and left negative reviews
His words are this
I have been traveling all day and just seeing this.Also noticed you left long negative reviews.Seems best as this point we part ways
This was after his employer lied to him then lied about me
Jared disappeared from chat for the rest of the day
As I asked for proof that they asked me even once to stop advertising my items on there Fb
But screen shot Jared showed me the employee was clearly the one who said he was the 1 who asked me but that employee was very cocky
Jared said he did not know which employee blocked me
He didn’t care either as he avoided the show me proof
He said if I remove the reviews he would look in to my matters
(They won’t )
I was get a generic answer
Said if I drop reviews they would unblock me
After we talked I removed reviews
Then his last message before I
Blocked him on Fb was
You have been unblocked
But don’t advertise on there
In other words don’t talk on there social media
Don’t advertise and they won’t either
Yesterday 2 items ended
End up costing me to pay them $4.50 in the end
Warning to Jared as this is on record
If you remove my items
Send them back I am fine with that
But if you charge me anything I will contact Arizona AG and show them the date of the review and the date you charged me
Because people if your item doesn’t sell
Don’t worry you can’t cancel the item unless you pay them $15 to do so
But don’t worry they will start at $1
Then I look I paid for them to have Beckett redo a COA that came from them
Then pay $27 more to have items sent back to me
So now has cost me $130 in return fees and COA
Keep in mind
They ALL had COA but 1 RVD pic and a Card
All had numbers you could look up in database and 99% came from them
But don’t ask what they are because they won’t tell you
What should have been a 12k to 15k in Profit even minus their cut has turned into 7k and no advertising at all .
I have blocked Jared the owner on FB making him deal email

It in my view helped sell my items for more

You have any idea the risk a seller takes selling there items on a auction site 
I was correct when I said I had between 10 to 15k in autographs when I 1st contacted your sales department 
But I would not be at $9,129.00 in total sales if I did not push my items 
I am sorry if you guys took my jokes as serious of insulting other items 
You push a Josh Allen card 
But I did not see you push my Josh Allen signed Football 
I sent in 100s of items 
I saw 2 of my items advertised in a pic that was it 
If we ever offer criticism we are blocked 
I have done business with your company sense 2016 
So I know the good bad and ugly 
You have a social media account that you don’t want sellers or buyers to ever comment on even if that is just to push there items that you don’t 
1000s of items are sold daily on Pristine 
But unless it is a high priced item we sellers and I am not alone  have no push of our items 
Lower end items are lost on the shovel 
You know how it feels to have a item sell for $3 then you the seller owe $4.50 to not only did you give the item away you owe as well 
I get it RULES 
Then to have a employee plain lie because he did not like my posts 
I didn’t insult anyone 
Fight with anyone 
Put Pristine down 
I just pushed my items 
I didn’t get a apology 
What I have gotten

Let’s not forget the $300 I 1st spent to send to you 
Sellers take a huge risk 
Pristine takes no risk 
But doesn’t treat all sellers fair 
I know it doesn’t matter to you but does to me 
I am a very responsible person until I am pushed and pushed 
You have to learn to take criticism Jared because sometimes that criticism helps you improve your company so we ALL feel you care about a $10 item like you do a 2k item 
That isn’t the case rate now 
I learned a lot buying from you these last 7 years so thank you for that 
Ban me 
Remove my items 
I won’t be quiet if I am done wrong

They lie long enough so your items end or you paid for your item

Poor quality on custom framing
won an online auction for a football jersey. Paid an additional 250 to have it framed. It took over 30 days to get it shipped. When I received the jersey it was a very poor job. Wrinkled and not presented well in the frame. Contacted Pristine several times regarding this and still have not received a response. The only what to contact them is through their chat bot but is really is just an email. Never get a chance to chat with anyone; just send a message that apparently they do not reply to.

Fake merchandise
I bought two signed lakers jerseys, Jerry west and Shaquille o Neal, on auction. What I received were fake jerseys with different logos than the lakers logos. The jerseys are made in Manila and aren’t even basketball jerseys. I disputed this through my credit card and won the dispute. However I received a nasty letter threatening to send me to collections. This site is a scam. And they have no people to talk to for customer service. The better business bureau and yelp have hundreds of negative reviews about their business practice.

Shipping
2nd time that one of my products was delivered and even though I'm home. Delivery never knocked or no notice and I found the empty box in my neighbor's yard chewed up and empty. First was a jersey stolen out of the yard. This time a Steve largent mini helmet. I'm tired of it. Over $300 total

I received my Bernie kozar jersey today and it has number 20 on it his number is 19

First I would like to state and request that you change your toneI'm very familiar with auction houses such as Steiner whom I've purchased countless genuine items from and never had a complaint or problemSecondly, after the lnitial time ran the item went into extending bidding for (10) minutes and ran down to the end again whereby at the end of that ten minute time it reset for an additional (10) minutes whereby it ended at the purchase price of $and charged to my accountNevertheless, after countless attempts to get in touch with someone from your company, I finally had the opportunity to speak with Breanna, from your customer service department who worked out an agreement with me as follows: My account would be officially closed effective immediately and any items remain or pending in my account after completion of auction time which where the following: Joe Torre baseball item# [redacted] ; Mike Richer Ranger mask item [redacted] ; Joe Torre baseball item# [redacted] ; Joe Torre baseball item# [redacted] ; Derek Jeter baseball item# [redacted] ; Paul O'Neil baseball item# [redacted] ; Derek Jeter rookie photo item# [redacted] would assess a re-stocking fee of (30) percent of the final cost for the item left in my accountFurther the other items under invoice numbers [redacted] and [redacted] which have been paid in full will be shipped to me

When our staff picked up the sports memorabilia collection from [redacted] , there was never a guarantee made that the items would be posted for sale before ChristmasWe verbally made it clear that we would do what we could to get the items up as quickly as possible, but that listing them before Christmas would be unlikelyUnfortunately, we were not able to do that because of the amount of consigned items submitted before [redacted] 's collectionIn addition, many of the items in [redacted] 's collection required third party authentication which slows down the process.In addition to being clear about our policies verbally, [redacted] also signed a written contract with us which partially states: #1: "Lots will be offeredwith no reserve price" and #8: "Consignment items may not be withdrawn..."The entire contract presented to and signed by [redacted] can be viewed here: [redacted] The actual contract hand-signed by [redacted] is available for viewing if desired[redacted] has shown no integrity toward the contract that he signedAfter communicating that items would have no reserve prices verbally and in writing, [redacted] then demanded reserve prices on nearly every lot consignedIt was communicated that most of the reserve prices were significantly above a fair market value and that the addition of the reserves were in violation of the agreement, but [redacted] continued to demand the addition of reserve pricesIn an effort to please [redacted] , as our customer, we fulfilled his request and added the reserves [redacted] later demanded, clearly in violation of our agreement, that all of his items be pulled from the auction and returned to himThe demands turned into threats and, in our best interest, we chose, again against the terms of our signed agreement, to cut our losses in this business relationship and part waysWe have returned all lots to [redacted] and consider this matter closed[redacted] continues to claim that we have not provided accounting for the authentication fees that he incurredThe accounting is available through his account pages on our websiteFurthermore, I personally offered to print out all of the account (which can also be accessed online) and [redacted] did not accept that offerThe discounted rates offered on the authentication fees are only offered for items that are consigned to the auctionBeing that [redacted] violated the contract and pulled the items from auction, there should be an additional charge for the authentication service providedHowever, once again went above and beyond by not charging [redacted] these authentication fees.The terms of our contact are clear and [redacted] showed a complete lack of integrity towards the agreementWe are happy to part ways and consider this matter closedWe certainly wish [redacted] well and hope that he can find a way to obtain the unreasonable prices that he is looking to get for his collection

We are a consignment based auction houseWinning an auction enters the winner into legal obligation to complete payment for the purchaseWinning bidders who do not pay for their lots cost us lost of revenue and potentially loss of business from consignorsFor that reason, we have a clear policy in our user agreement that unpaid lots will be assessed a 30% restocking feeThis fee is not assessed until MULTIPLE attempts have been made to collect paymentWe also give bidders time well beyond the requested day payment period.In this case, the restocking fee is valid due to a non-paid lot; however, we would be willing to make an exception and waive this fee as a one time courtesy with an agreement to consider this matter resolvedPlease e-mail ***@ [redacted] [redacted] to receive the requested written confirmation of the waiver of this feeThank you

As explained when you inquired, the Derek J [redacted] cleat comes directly from Steiner Sports who has the exclusive autograph contract with Derek J***. The listing represents the cleat as being authenticated by both MLB authentication and Steiner, which is accurate. MLB authentication does not always authenticate the game used aspect of an item but can also be authentication, as is in this case, for the autograph only. The authenticity from Steiner confirms the game-used aspect of the shoe.At this point the item has been forfeited due to non-payment and, in accordance with the user agreement, a 30% restocking fee is due. If you would like to make good on your original invoice and purchase the item that you bid on and won, we would be willing to waive the restocking fee at that point. If the invoice is not paid in full, the restocking fee will be due.Each aspect of this situation was thoroughly discussed after multiple conversations.
