Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Regards, [redacted] Protect America has failed to acknowledge that the electronic contract was signed after several failed attempt to cancel the account which I have had for over seven years and after several revisions were made because they were always trying to leave one thing or the other out of itI have paid for security service that I do no have for over a year or more and that is by their own admissionThey do not have signal because they changed their system!!! and did not inform me the consumerThis is a trust issue and I would not accept any offer from Protect America even if it was free for life because they do not deliver what they promiseSecurity It took ten days to deliver the incomplete items and they are attempting to hold my head over the barrel for a for a coarse contract that is now null and void because they did not keep their end of the bargain.This complaint is also buyer beware more than anything else because the contract is null and voidIf they attempt to send my name to collection, I will fight it not only with the credit bureaus but also with my congressman, the FTC and my state Attorney General if only to bring attention to their sketchy business

We have tried calling Mr [redacted] to see if we can come to an amicable understandingHis phone numbers on file do not have voicemail, thus we are unable to resolve this

On 11/24/14, Mr [redacted] spoke with our General CARE department and came to an amicable resolution regarding this matter

We have received the complaint filed by Mrs [redacted] Afterreviewing the recorded calls between Mrs [redacted] and Protect America we’vefound that she signed up with Protect America through a third party vendorAtthe time of the sale Mrs [redacted] was informed of our self -install system Mr[redacted] called Protect America after receiving the equipment stating theequipment was not sophisticated enough for himOur Cancellation departmentoffered Mr [redacted] upgraded and additional equipment to which he accepted theofferAfter receiving upgrade and additional equipment, Mr [redacted] called inand asked to cancel or have a technician come and installIt was explained againthat our system is self-install and a technician cost could start at $Ourcancellation department offered to send Mrand Mrs [redacted] a $visagift card if they had a technician to installMr [redacted] agreed Mrs [redacted] called to cancelShe stated Mr[redacted] nor her son, has the time to install the systemWe at Protect Americafeel that we have done everything in our power to assist Mrs [redacted] .Additionally, Protect America customers are responsible for the installation oftheir system and the connection to the central monitoring station

I have had the opportunity to use my service protection plan twice since purchasing it on my previously owned CrossfireThe company was wonderful in handling the claim in both cases Thank you so much for handling these claims in a professional and timely manner MrsKaren B

We have spoken to [redacted] to try to better understand her concernsShe signed our agreement through a partner of oursWe have contacted that partner and are seeking more information on why [redacted] is unaware of the term length outlined in her agreementWe aim to work with [redacted] further later this week once our partner is able to review their sales call

I purchased this warranty when I purchased my truck months later my truck isn't running right I take it to the mechanic and he does his diagnosis and says the motor doesn't have the proper oil pressure it needs to operate correctly He called the warranty company to tell them this and they said they will not cover this They need more detailed diagnosisMy mechanic said that when he talks to them it seems like they don't want to hear what he has to say

We have received the complaint filed Ms [redacted] and foundthat during the initial sales call Ms [redacted] husbands military status wasnever discussedMs [redacted] agreed to the terms and conditions of the threeyear agreement term during the initial sales call In reviewing the recorded calls between Ms[redacted] and Protect America we’ve found that Ms [redacted] and her familyrelocatedAt that time Ms [redacted] was offered the option of $off hermonthly rate, swap equipment from sensors to glassbreak sensors (since she’s ina smaller location) or two months of monitoring at $Ms [redacted] agreed tothe $lower monthly rate and return nine sensors for two glassbreaksensors Ms [redacted] showed that she wasvery pleased with the resolution therefore we at PAI feel that have come to anamicable resolution for herAdditionally, Protect America’s military policywill apply if we are provided Orders of Deployment for the person named on theagreement

Upon reviewing Mr [redacted] 's account, it is true that we have replaced multiple items that we provided him with to protect his homePer our limited-lifetime warranty, Mr [redacted] was not charged for any replacement itemsThe year agreement Mr [redacted] signed had smoke detectors includedWe have confirmation at time of install (7/8/12) that the smoke detectors were working and sending signals to our monitoring stationAlso on 5/9/13, when [redacted] called concerned about no response/dispatch to a smoke alarm going off, we tested and found both detectors working properlyWe advised that the system was disarmed within secondsPer recommendations from Police Departments nationwide to reduce alarms, our monitoring station does not usually call customers or dispatch until an alarm signal has been active for secondsOn 4/15/14, we received a formal complaint from [redacted] regarding our services and tried to remedy his concerns by emailing him an addendum to complete and return to lower his monthly rateAfter a follemail and physically mailing the addendum to him, we never received back the addendumAt this time, the account is with a 3rd-party collections agency that Mr [redacted] must work with to resolve any further concerns

I have had multiple extended warranties on vehicles I have purchased in the past I have always received a refund if car was sold or traded prior to mileage limit on the warranty I followed directions as provided by ASC to obtain my refund The vehicle I traded I still lacked 30,plus miles before warranty expired After months and no call or refund check, I called ASC I was told because I had a claim that they had paid $dollars to repair they deducted that from my refund thus I was not due any monies I have never ever experienced a cost they incurred as a insurance company being deducted from my refund I question this being an ethical practice by an insurance company in which a large premium was paid!

I purchased Easy St Warranty fro Route Should have covered the power train for 100,miles When the transmission went out - I was told it was not a covered item - as the clutch was "out-side" the transmission I explained that I had replaced a throw-out bearing, clutch and pressure plate on a car yrs ago - BUT this was AN AUTOMATIC transmissionI had to pay an additional $to the dealer - they paid They should have PAID the entire amount!!! I am going to sue them for this - it's a matter of principal!!! The service writer at the dealership agreed with me - they should have paid!

PAI have received the complaint filed by Mr [redacted] Inreviewing the account records and recorded calls between Mr [redacted] and ProtectAmerica we’ve found that he called on 3/4/to request cancellation of hisaccountProtect America agreement states that if a customer wishes to canceltheir account we must receive the request days but no earlier than daysprior to the end of the initial term or any renewal termWith that, Mr [redacted] called on 3/4/his account would have been set to cancel on 4/3/withan auto draft of 4/1/We regret to inform Mr [redacted] that there is norefund due at this timeWe have provided a copy of Mr [redacted] ’s agreement forhis review

We have received the complaint filed by Mr [redacted] Inreviewing the recorded calls between Mr [redacted] and PAI we’ve found the Mr [redacted] alarm system was set to silent alarmMr [redacted] called on 8/24/wanting tocancel due to sensors fallingOur customer service informed Mr [redacted] thatthe sensors can be installed with silicon glue or screwed inOn 8/26/PAIretention department lowered Mr [redacted] monthly monitoring rate, provided onemonth credit to his account and sent a relocation kit and replaced the sensorsfor his inconveniencePer PAI agreement, we ask that our customer’s call inmonthly to test their system to assure it is functioning properlyWe’ve triedcontacting Mr [redacted] to reach a resolution with him

ASC warranty is trying to be slick about paying for repairs to my vehicle, limits of liability state no case shall the total of all repairs paid or payable exceed the nada loan value or the vehcle purchase price , whichever is less at the time so when I called it in to get my air compressor fixed ( which the vehicle is at fuellers automotive ) they said that they wouldn't pay it because it exceeds the nada value of the vehicle the slick thing about it is that they are giving us the trade in value not the cash value the cash value is a little over 6k the trade in value which the quote they are givin us is I will be taking them to court
