I did not hang up, the supervisor was talking over me and hung up when she was finished. I was told she would give me her supervisor discount and add ten percent.

Specifically, this customer placed their order on 7/31/14. This is when they paid the
initial $4.95 for shipping, and marks the start of their 14-day trial period. The
customer contacted our company on 8/15/14 to cancel their subscription. The cancellation process
was started at that time, and the customer and one of our Customer Service Representatives came to
the agreement that Ms. [redacted] would return the unused product for a full refund, and that the
offer would expire if the package was not received by 8/22/14.
To-date, 8/19/14, we have not received the package and therefore have been unable to
process this refund. In conclusion, we will follow through with our commitment to refund Ms. [redacted]
as soon as we receive the product.
 
We apologize for the misunderstanding, however we are not
able to issue a refund at this time, as we have not received the product from
the customer. Additionally, we stand by our policies and would like to
reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times
to process their orders. We are willing to send out a complimentary bottle of
PureSlimGarcinia to Ms. [redacted] if she is interested.

Our customers are sent their first full 30-day supply of Pure Slim Garcinia to try for 14-days without charge. On the 15th day, if the customer has not contacted us, they are automatically billed for the product in their possession and enrolled in our Pure Slim Garcinia Preferred Customer Club, where they receive a monthly supply every 30 days thereafter.
 
If the customer wishes to cancel, our Customer Service Team is reachable both by phone at ###-###-####, and email at [email protected]. The phone number is listed on www.pureslimgarcinia.com, as well as on the invoice enclosed with the product.
 
We do not doubt this customer found our product through an advertisement on Facebook, as this is common. However, we dispute the claim that she was not provided the Terms and Conditions before placing her order. We market our product online in a number of ways, but all customers are redirected to our website to place an order and review the Terms and Conditions, regardless of the site they were originally on. Our product can only be bought on our website, where the 14-day trial period is clearly explained on the check-out screen (please see inserted image on page 2).
 
This customer placed her order for Pure Slim Garcinia on 7/29/14, which began her 14-day trial. It ended on 8/12/14. During those two weeks, we did not receive a call from the customer, and so she was billed for the bottle she received. The charge was declined on 8/12/14, 8/15/14, 8/18/14, and was finally approved on 8/21/14.
 
Since the customer did not cancel her subscription, she was sent another bottle of Pure Slim Garcinia on 9/20/14. We did not hear from her until 10/9/14, when she called our Customer Service Team. She was cancelled and provided with a cancellation number, but did not request a refund.
 
We apologize for this misunderstanding, and are offering the customer a full refund for all of her unopened bottles of Pure Slim Garcinia. If the bottles are all opened, we will fully refund the customer for her most recent product.
 
Additionally, the customer has filed this complaint for Pure Slim Garcinia and Pro Green Coffee. As we are only able to handle the customer’s Pure Slim Garcinia account, we ask that she contact Pro Green Coffee to clarify any miscommunication regarding their product. December 26, 2014 Complaint ID: [redacted] We would like to apologize again for Ms. [redacted]’s experience with Pure Slim Garcinia, and would like to take this time to address the issues she brought up in her rejection of our previous letter. The customer mentions that the Terms and Conditions are located at the bottom of the page. Directly underneath where the customer inputs his or her credit card information is a box that reads “Yes! I agree to the Terms and Conditions and understand that if I don’t cancel within the 14 days, I will be enrolled to receive a fresh supply of Pure Slim Garcinia each month and billed $87.84 for each shipment.” No order can be processed until the customer agrees. Additionally, this box is not at the bottom of the page, but directly between the credit card information and the “Rush my order” confirmation button. We do apologize for any miscommunication between the customer and our supervisor. As the customer has already been refunded $33.95, we would like to offer a refund of $18.75 to bring her refund total to $52.70, or 60% of the retail value of Pure Slim Garcinia. To proceed with a refund, we ask that the customer contact us at [email protected] that a suitable resolution has been reached. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we are continuously striving to streamline and perfect the quality of our service. We have yet to collect for the full price of the product, which is still in the customer’s
pocession. Our collections department had reached out to [redacted] because
to-date she has received a full month supply of PureSlimGarcinia for free, only
paying the $4.95 for shipping and handling. Our processing system requires that
a customer make at least a 50% payment towards an account that has been
declined before cancellation of the account.
We apologize for the misunderstanding, and I have personally
overridden the system settings to cancel the customer’s account per her
request. However, we stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that
our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process
their orders.

period, which ended on 2/19/15. During this time, we did not receive a request
to cancel, so she was charged for the product in her possession and enrolled in
our monthly subscription program. She was sent a new bottle on 3/25/15 and
4/24/15. On
5/4/15, we received an email from the customer with a request to cancel. Her
account was cancelled at this time and she was provided with a cancellation
number. She was also informed of our Terms and Conditions, and made aware that
she was outside of the trial period, which is why we are unable to accept those
products back. We
apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred and regret that the
customer is unsatisfied with our product. However, as she is outside of the
trial period, we are unable to issue a refund. As a courtesy for the

When she requested to speak to a supervisor, she was transferred.   In the supervisor call, the customer was reminded of the Terms and Conditions, and our Customer Support Representative restated the offer of $33.95 without the customer needing to return the product to us. The customer agreed to this solution and hung up. She called back later that day to confirm that she had been cancelled and was provided with a cancellation confirmation number. Her refund of $33.95 was processed 12/8/14.   We do apologize for any misunderstandings. As a courtesy, we would like to offer the customer $9.97 to bring her total refund amount to 50% of Pure Slim Garcinia’s retail value because the product has been opened. Review: Product was advertised as $4.99 month later it cost me $87.84 for a ONE bottle of Garcinia.

The product was advertised as $4.99 so thinking that I have saved money on Garcinia since at GNC is $9.99 I order a bottle not knowing that it will cost me $87.84 Tried calling customer service which was a waste of time. Talk to a customer service rep after hold of more than 30 min, she was very rude and condescending, so I requested to speak with a supervisor, she was not helpful either and it was just as rude so ask that my call is escalated again. Rather than escalating to senior management she actually refused to provide me with the name of her supervisor and she rerouted me back to her subordinate.They are very sneaky since when I received the product I look to see if there are any terms and condition and it was nothing there, no indication whatsoever that a month later I will be charged $87.84. Sneeky practice to charge a month later is giving them excuse not to accept returns since it was after cut off date that no one told me about it.I feel that I was taken an advantage of being because when I received the product on my bill of sale there is no indications that is a trial period or that will cost me $87.84
