I am rejecting this response because: Omega FAILED to fulfill the contract purchased.  I did not receive a booklet or claims card with my info and did not know who held my pre-paid contract until talking with a call center "The Tech Choice"  on or around 05/15/2015, OVER 2 YEARS AFTER MY SERVICE PURCHASE!!!!!.   Omega  failed to provide any information to me, so the contract was useless.  I tried to cancel this service agreement, but did not have their correct information due to their failure to provide it to me, so I did send a  cancellation request form to a incorrect address.  The person I spoke with at the call center's name is Thomas Bowen.  I understand the call center is now CLOSED!   As you can see on "THE TECH CHOICE" paperwork I faxed you the contract number was written in with a question mark, as again I received NOTHING FROM OMEGA!!!!!  I am not paying for the mistakes made by OMEGA, and want a full refund because of their FAILURE TO FULFILL A CONTRACT!!!!!

Mr. [redacted],  Upon your request, we have reinspected your vehicle and found that there was leakage from the drum shaft which would not allow enough pressure to apply to the clutches which in turn could prematurely burn up the clutches. We have moved ahead with your claim and paid $2,747.48 to your shop toward the replacement of your transmission. We hope that this issue has now been resolved to your satisfaction. Ms. Swamy,  We are very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience using your Omega Auto Care policy. We have reviewed your claim and have found that it was denied correctly. This was determined to be a preexisting condition by the inspection report that was completed on 1/5/2017. The...

inspector reported that there was CONVERTER CLUTCH FAILURE WITH SUB DAMAGE TO THE CLUTCH PACKS DUE TO DEBRIS CONTAMINATION IN THE VALVE BODY CAUSING A PSI LOSS. This was determined to be preexisting since this kind of damage only happens over a long period of time. Since the failure was reported only 15 days out of the validation period, it would have started occurring before the policy was purchased. We cannot offer a full refund of this policy, since you had it longer than the allowed 30 days (the time window for receiving a full refund). However, we will make sure that your pro-rated refund is sent to you as quickly as possible and we are in contact with the company that sold you the policy to make sure that they get you this refund in a timely manner. We are sincerely sorry that this policy did not work out for you, but we always strive to treat all of our customers fairly and according to the terms of the agreement. Hello, We contacted the company that was interacting with Ms. [redacted] and this was their response: This customer called in on 8/8/16 to set up coverage. At the time, she did not have the full down payment but wanted to get coverage. In order to set up coverage, we accepted $50 down and set...

up a post date for 8/19/16 for the remainder of the down payment and finalization of the sale.  She later called back in an attempt to cancel the policy because she said she had coverage on the car through the manufacturer. In an attempt to ensure that she had the highest level of coverage,  we asked her to compare coverages since she qualified for Exclusionary coverage through us. She also advised our company that she could not afford the current plan, so we made it more affordable as well as made an adjustment for the remainder of her down payment in order to help her keep the coverage.  She called us back on 8/24/16 and advised that she had done as we suggested and talked with the dealer and discovered that she had more than powertrain coverage, she also stated that she hadn’t received our paperwork yet to compare the coverages. We apologized for the delay and offered to send out a sample copy so she could see the coverage that day and take to the dealership. We suggested to compare the policies side by side and call us back once she had compared (which is denoted in her complaint). We were simply waiting on a return call from the customer to make a final decision.In an attempt to resolve the complaint, it has been cancelled and refunded. Ms. [redacted],We are cancelling your policy as of December 30th, 2014 (which is when you said that you first sent in the cancellation paperwork).  Your pro-rated refund check will be sent out this Friday (11/20/2015) in the amount of $1,111.19.We cannot issue a full refund because you had your policy since 4/17/2013 and did not send cancellation paperwork until 12/30/2014.We apologize that you have to wait this long to receive your refund, but that was because you had sent the paperwork to the incorrect company and we did not receive it until just recently.Also, if you did not receive the policy book/ID card for some reason, you should have notified us or Auto Protection Department, and we would have immediately resent that information to you.
