Based on R&L's response, they want you and I to believe that a brand new hood that was specially painted was then wrapped and shipped by the provider bent in three places on edgesIt is unreasonable to insinuate it was damaged prior to packaging and clearly showed evidence of poor handling which caused unforeseen damagesI would like the Revdex.com's opinion
I will now escalate the legal claim to the Transportation Consumer Protection Council, Incas well
Also what authority or at what point does the Revdex.com actually do something in the way of placing a business like this with poor ratings? My correspondence will continue to be documented through the Revdex.com for record

The hood was wrapped in card board and bubble wrapThe problem was not a scratch caused by something penetrating/puncturing the packaging, but damage from rolling the hood on edge or corners that would not have been indicated by obvious damage to the exterior packaging
Again, for the vendor to wrap a custom painted hood with these type of damages prior to shipping is not reasonable of conceivableThe damages were incurred during shippingIf I had opened the package and not accepted it, we would still be having the same basis of complaint needing resolutionI don't expect the same response that I signed for the package as proof there was not damageI agree the outside packaging was not obviously damaged, but the product was damaged during transit and expect it to be reconciled by R&L Carriers

No follfrom businessCould not get tree businesses to come out to give estimates because it was too small of a job during their prime seasonThis was just a tactic rom the business to avoid taking responsibility.They are a very poor corporate citizen

Per the attached delivery receipt provided by the customer there are no charges associated with the straight truck or
liftgate services providedThe RATE column on the delivery receipt does not have an amount indicated for the service confirming the receiver of the shipment does not owe R+L any funds for the servicesIf the customer does receive an invoice from R+L Carriers for the straight truck and liftgate services provided I would be willing to have them removedI apologize for the lack of communication on our part but we were trying to make the necessary arrangements to make the delivery a successWe were not aware that the customer was paying for a pickup truck

We've been charged by *** *** *** for freight charges for this load and never got reimbursed as according to them you never reimbursed themEcho DID NOT accept this settlement, nor it is accepted by us and we are the ones who lost $5k due to RL employees negligence, not EchoAdditionally, you broke the law by handling the claim for over days when it allows only for claim handlingSince you refuse to settle this claim in full extend of your $per Lb liability outside the courtroom - we will be taking the legal action as you leave us no choice. We will also be filing a complaint with consumer protection agency, forward all the details of dealing with RL to our press release team as well as write multiple reviews on every single review website available to make sure as little number of potential customers as possible will become victims of your business practicesHave a nice day

I contacted *** to see if they would provide authorization to invoice them for the return freight charges*** has authorized R+L to bill them for the chargesAll the charges currently being invoices to you will be cleared

*** ***---I am having an issue with a deliveryThe shipper came to deliver the package on the 26th of June (as was scheduled) and I was told that they could put it in my drivewaynot in the house when I set it upbut the delivery guy on the 26th said he could not put it in my driveway because he could not wheel it on the center grass stripIt's a one-car driveway with 2ft wide concrete on either side of a 1ft wide grass strip that goes approx feet up the middle of driveway entranceit's nothing crazyit's an open concrete driveway once the grass strip endsHe said the only option was for him to leave it on the sidewalk in front of my houseI live in *** *** *** and that is NOT an option because I cannot carry that into the house or unpack it or move it by myself from the sidewalk in front of my houseIt is a very large package on a palletI am guessing it weighs pounds or moreI was expecting it to be put into my driveway as I was told it was going to be by the shipperand I had people coming in the next day or two to help me unpack it and bring it inTo leave it on the sidewalk was definitely NOT an optionHe said that I could refuse the delivery which I didand was trying to reach someone to reschedule since the 26thIt was not until the 28th of June that I finally got an answer: I was told through the person that originated this shipment to me....that the shipper said : 1- they were under the impression I wanted this delivered into my homeI am sorrybut that is NOT trueWhen I made the apptI was told they only deliver curbside or into a drivewayand we chose the drivewayAnd I have video cameras on my home that clearly show the delivery guy and me standing in my drivewaydiscussing the "grass" stripAt no time did bringing it into my home ever come up! and any entrance is not in that area!!and now it is the 30th of Juneand I am being told this morning that I have to pay an additional $to have it delivered and they will not put this in my driveway as originally scheduled! I paid over $for this delivery and now I am told I have to pay an additional $and they will only drop it off on the sidewalk not in driveway as scheduledOh and they also said I can pick it up at the dock myselfAgainHOW?? and where would I fit this in my car even if I was able to miraculous lift 200+ pounds myself!I just want my package delivered to me as scheduled and paid for(paid over $300!!!!) I expect it to be delivered undamaged and in good condition I should not be charged more money for this! If they cannot deliver it into driveway as I had paid for and scheduled originally, they can schedule it to be delivered on a Sat or Sunday when I will have someone to help me move a pound plus package off the sidewalk into my driveway as I am not able to do it myself! I am a 5' 3" woman and lifting and moving a 200+ pound package I will not be able to do, that is why we set it to be delivered into my driveway orginally!

You are as worthless as R&L Carriers I recived a letter from them today along with a check for $Thats a far cry from the
$they owe me they say it has been to long for the one in july they only go back days that I should have filed a claim earlierI did contact my sales representative when I got the invoice for almost $more than the quote they gave me I have the emails to prove when I filed the complaintThe $dollars I recieved today was for the overcharges in November that was still less than half of the overcharges So I will take care of this problem with my attorney and am filing a complaint with the p.u.cand I will do everything I can to have their p.u.cpulled and them put out of business there are hundreds of complaints against them for these practices of overcharges and changing shipping classes so they can charge more than the quotes they give you

At the time of dropping the shipment off at R+L Carriers the customer requested R+L to unload the shipment from his vehiclePrior to unloading the shipment the customer was asked to sign a general release stating R+L would not be held liable for any damage that may occurThe customer agreed to the
terms and signed the general release

I have contacted R&L numerous times, and submitted all correspondence between my company and the booking agent.  During booking, I submitted paperwork, invoice, and bill of sale to show proof of value, and mentioned I would like insurance.  The Bill of lading did not have the claimed amount, but I did sign it (unknowingly at the time).  Does this completely nullify any chance of insurance?  It sure feels like I was taken advange of, as a "typo" on the Bill of Lading cost me almost $6000 in damaged item.I understand their position in trying to avoid a payout, but seeing as I am a regular customer, I would have hoped they could make a policy exception.

I was charged extra for their special straight truck and lift gate and was told I had to have the truck there or they wouldn't deliver the door. They need to ensure the people scheduling knows what they are talking about.  Revdex.com:

Hello, I have looked into this issue and R+L Carriers is billing the correct party per the shipping documents provided. I had [redacted] contacted today to see if they would agree to have R+L invoice them for the freight charges and we were advised they will not make any changes until you...

contact them directly. Once we receive approval from [redacted] to change the charges to them, it will be completed right away.I apologize for the frustration.
