Review: I purchased a set of custom headlights Aug 16 2014 from HidGuy for a price of $1003. Initial estimated timeline agreed to was 4-6 weeks. There has been several instances of missed shipping deadlines made by [redacted] that he always has a new excuse for. I have been told that the lights were ready to be boxed and shipped every since early December but I haven't seen a thing. I have asked [redacted] to ship the lights in whatever state they are in currently because at this point I just want to be done with this matter. [redacted] refuses to ship the lights and doesn't have the time to give me specific details why he can't fulfill his end of the transaction. He certainly has plenty time to post his advertising pictures all over social media. Dealing with this guy is a crap shoot. I have 3 other friends currently in the same situation for a total close to $4000 this guy has swindled us out of. I really hope someone shows him how business is supposed to work so the next honest American will be spared the trouble the guy inflicts. If you are already in a transaction with him, do not allow time to get away from you. He is savvy to the rules and takes advantage of customers on regular basis.Desired Settlement: I want the product I ordered. If he cannot provide it then naturally he should refund my money 100%. I am not responsible for his inabilities or problems.

Review: I placed a order with HMS (HidGuyModShop) very a month and a half ago. I was told that my order was going to arrive by the first week in September but it still has not arrived. I have sent countless emails to the email listed on their website ([redacted]) using 3 different emails and yet I still have gotten no reply. They charged me over $500 after my purchase and yet my order (#[redacted]) still says pending.Desired Settlement: I would like to know when I will be receiving the order, and if I can not get a exact delivery date I would like a FULL refund of what I paid.

Review: Ordered some LED License plate bulbs from HID Guy's website on 3/17/14. Used my gift card for payment. Website states "if ordered before 3pm, shipped same day". Nothing was forwarded to me about shipment nor if the product was backordered. Order just states "Awaiting fulfillment" II've sent numerous emails and also numerous texts (all printed off for proof) asking if the product is backordered, if there was an issue, no response. Even tried contacting via online the website for more of an immediate response. No communication at all from the seller, however they have taken the money. It's $14.50.Desired Settlement: I'd like the product, but at this point I will take my business elsewhere. So please have them credit my Vanilla Visa, $14.50. Thank you.

Review: In April 2014 an order was placed for car lights, the product was of stock. I traded my car in so I no longer needed the lights so I canceled my order in July. I received a call in August stated they had my lights but saw I had canceled my order. I asked that a refund be mailed and as of today I still have not received my refund. I have spoken to the company several time through phone and email.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund of $**.

Review: Have order in place with this company since August 2014 for headlights for my car.They have charged my father's credit card but we have not received the headlights.The order was $600.00+Have made several attempts to find out about status of order and they keep putting me off and others are posting problems with this company online. Review: I ordered a set of customed head-lights on April 9th (over 5 Months ago) and I keep getting the run around when I call and ask where they are. They tell me they are ready but they are lost in the warehouse. I ask for my $450.00 back and they tell me they can not refund my money because they already made the lights. They say they will email me the progress on the lights but no response.Desired Settlement: At this point I would just like to have my money back or have my lights. I have tried to be patient and nice but it is hard to when they are taking advantage of me!

Review: I ordered custom built HID lights from the http://www.hidguymodshop.com/ website on April 25, 2014 in the amount of $625. I was advised the order would be completed and shipped to me per their website in 2 weeks. Over approximately 100 combined emails and calls, (I have all the emails and their website texts saved) they continually advised of problems doing the headlight build and promised two more weeks every time I had contact. I have not been able to get a response since Jan. 9, 2015. I requested a refund on March 27, 2015. I still have not been able to get a response even though I continue to call and message on their website. The phone number advises the caller to go to the website. They showed my product as shipped in on 11/4/14 then when I contacted them December 19, 2014 that I still did not have it they advised they shipped it to the wrong customer and promised they would either get them back or build a new set of headlights to send to me. When I still did not get them in 2 weeks I contacted their web site again on January 9th and they advised they would ship them out by January 16, 2015. I have called or texted a couple dozen times since then and can get no response. I requested a refund by email and on their website on March 27th, 2015 and have received no response. It's clear they have no intent in completing my order.Desired Settlement: I want my $625 returned as they will not complete my order and the headaches they have caused as I have had to purchase other headlights in order for me to drive my car, means I no longer need their product as they took to long to fill the order after continually promising 2 more weeks, for their product to be of use to me.

Review: I received a set of their low beam HID kits with the slim ballasts for my 01 Chevy Silverado from this company for Christmas from my grandparents. I had a problem with one of the ballasts not working quite right where when the head lights came on the one light would flicker on warm up or I would have to cycle the lights to be able to get the one light to kick on telling me that the ballast for that side was malfunctioning. I had sent them an email asking for help and it took 3 emails and a few months to get a reply from the owner Oscar, he said to create a dummy account and let him know the information for the account I created and he would put in a dummy order that would send me a new ballast. I created the account and sent him the information, that is the last I have heard from them. I have the email he sent me stating he would replace the ballast. I have tried calling many times along with leaving some voice mails. I also sent many emails with no reply back, I have been trying to get a hold of them for almost a year now and can not get to any of them. Extremely disappointed with this company, customer service is awful if I try this much and cant get a hold of anyone there. I just want the ballast replaced so I don't have to worry about that light coming on anymore.Desired Settlement: I want the ballast replaced with a new one.

Review: I ordered a set of headlights from this company for my truck on April 2nd. They said they would ship in 1-4 weeks, and it is now June 20th and I have no headlights. The original address that I gave them was my school address, and I ordered in plenty of time to get them in that 1-4 week period. I did not get them. So I attempted to change the address to my home address, with no confirmation. I then sold the truck, so I asked that I cancel the order if possible. Weeks went by with no response. It has been this way since then, weeks until a response after repeated attempts on my end. I have requested to cancel the order and receive a refund more times than I can count, and only receive a "we are working on it" type of message each time. As the three month mark approaches on this order, I am fearing I may never see my money again. The customer service has been deplorable. I would suggest steering clear of this company.Desired Settlement: I would like the original amount I paid for these headlights refunded to me.

Review: I bought custom headlights for my car from these guys. A month after I got them the inside bezel bubbled up. So I contacted them about it to get it repaired. A week or so after it bubbled up, it rained and moisture got trapped in the headlights from poor seals. I then contacted them about it and they said to bring it by to get them repaired. I brought it back and they said it will be 2 weeks to have them finished. 2 weeks go by. They say that they unsure why the bezel did this and it will be 2 more weeks. Another 2 weeks goes by and the headlights are still not complete. Telling the same excuse and it will be another 2 weeks. So I went back today 7/1/15 to check if they finished my headlights. Again they tell the same excuse and come back in 2 weeks. My patience has decreased and I ask for a refund. They say they can't give refunds for customs builds. From they're website and social media they do a lot of builds for my generation car. So here again waiting for them to tell me the same thing. I do not recommend this company to anybody, terrible and slow customer service.Desired Settlement: My patience has decreased. It has been almost 2 months since I brought the headlights to be repaired. That is plenty of time to fix them. I am tired of the same excuses and very disappointed. Finish the job.

Review: I placed an order for a customized vehicle part (fog light halo) on July 27, 2015. The total for this purchase was $218.20, which was paid and accepted immediately. I also shipped my personal fog lights to the company for the work to be completed. The last I spoke with a representative from HMS was mid-August, by phone, and was told they received my fog lights and my order would be completed by early September. As of September 9th, HMS stated on their website that they no longer accept customer phone calls and to only send emails pertaining to orders. Since then I have sent 5 emails and have had no contact in return. At this point I have no way of contacting the business to cancel my order, refund my money and return my property (fog lights).Desired Settlement: I have had previous dealings with this company and believed (up to this point) they do quality work. If I am contacted by them and they guarantee my purchase completion, I will honor my payments. However, I have no way of contacting the business. If I am not contacted by the business immediately, I request a full refund and my fog lights to be shipped to my home with no shipping charges.

Review: May 18th,2014 I placed my Order for (1) 2005-2009 Ford Mustang (S197) "Mod-Shop" LED Front Bumper Lights - Smoked ($299.50). Initially their Sales Representative, [redacted], claimed products made to order can ship within 10 days because they were receiving parts to keep in warehouse for quicker builds. I received my confirmation number that same day I placed my order. 10 business days later, actually on May 28th I sent an email to HID and received a response from [redacted] from customer service. He replied with a link that shows products are made to order and ship between 2-3 weeks after the order was placed. This was the first instance of Defamation. I asked when I can expect my order and did not receive an answer.3 Business weeks later from the day my order was placed I emailed [redacted] to check on the progress of my order, his response below, "oh yeah I was suppose to email you, ok the tech thats working on your build is redoing it, due to the sealant we were using are not good and we had a customer complaint so we are going to use silicon now, we are waiting for the new silicon in then it should be ready by 1-2 weeks now, due to we are are changing everyones lights with new silicon. so please just bare with us, but you wont be disappointed."I proceeded to call the listed phone number and there was no answer, and after I sent a direct email to the Sales Representative twice, I did not receive a response.I emailed [redacted] a week later June 16th to check on my order, he told me the tech had an out of state family emergency and would contact me the next day.I did not receive a response the following day. I have requested an update nearly every day from [redacted], and almost every response I have been given has been "I will talk to tech" or "when do you need it by". I told him the latest I can accept it by would be 6/27, my last response from [redacted] today, "well as right now, I am in my office, the tech is super busy working on builds so I dont want to give you a specific time anymore".Desired Settlement: Very simply I want my product. I have several more emails and excuses from Brody. In an email I was promised free expedited shipping as well. But I would like to receive my product and I would like my account credited a reasonable amount. The responses I have received from Brody are in my opinion, acts of defamation. I don't know what to do at this point. I would really appreciate any assistance and look forward to hearing from you soon.Thank you!Sincerely,[redacted]
