Radiant Cash Reviews (%countItem)

I took a loan out with the company for $400.00 and to date I have paid the company $1,120.85. Almost 3 times the amount owed. Because of Covid-19 my hours have been significantly reduced and I can barely pay my rent. I have asked them to forgive the remaining 2 payments on the account. Without success.

I know that I signed a contract but was in a financial bind at the time and feel this company takes advantage of people that can't obtain loans with normal rates. In certain circumstances this would be considered predatory lending with interest rates set at 690%.

I only wish to have this account considered paid in full so I can be relieved of the undue stress of me having to pay my living expenses and figure out how to pay the remaining 2 payments of this loan.

I have no other resources and I just simply cannot afford these last two payments.

I received a small loan from Radiant Cash and expected the interest rates to be reasonable. I knew they were a bit higher than what a traditional loan is, but decided to take it as the phone representative assured me that the rates were within the limits of what is legal. The loan agreement was ambiguous at best, or deceptive at worst. Turns out I am paying more than 450% interest on the loan. Radiant Cash does not have a license to operate or provide financial services in the State of Arizona. I would like to pay back only my principal but my communication with them has been getting nowhere.

It was stated in the loan agreement that the customer signed and agreed to, and this is anexpensive form of borrowing as this is an installment loan with high Annual Percent Rates. The customeris still responsible for the remaining loan balance of $687.36. The customer can call the Company todiscuss any further questions.

The lender does not have a license to operate or provide financial services in the state of Arizona, where I am a resident. While not obligated to do so, I am willing to repay the principal balance of the loan at a new monthly payment amount to be agreed upon with the lender if they so choose.

This account has been sent to outside collections and cannot be retracted. We have attempted and exhausted numerous avenues of assistance for this customer, in which he refused to cooperate. We have also sent multiple responses on how to handle this account through the Revdex.com and the customer still is under the impression that we "are not legal" in the state of Arizona. There is no more that Ishwaaswi LLC dba Radiant Cash is able to communicate without it being repetitive. The customer can call the Company at *** if there are further questions or concerns. The Company trusts that the complainant will find this letter of explanation satisfactory. However, if the complainant is not satisfied with the Company’s resolution of this matter, pursuant to Section 10 of the Tribal Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Ordinance, which can be found at https://www.ldftribe.com/uploads/files/Court-Ordinances/CHAP94-Tribal-Consumer-Financial-ServicesReulatory-Ordinance.pdf, he/she may pursue formal dispute resolution with the Tribal Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Authority (“Authority”). The lender claims they have exhausted all avenues of assistance, but they were not communicated or received by me as they have stated on several occasions. I never received a settlement or any communications regarding a settlement to either my email address on file, phone number, or by mail. The account being sent to collections for this reason is an unfair / deceptive practice which is prohibited by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I have not refused to cooperate, simply questioned the lender and pursued my rights and privilege as I am legally allowed to do so under federal law.

I am still willing to cooperate and receive a settlement offer, or a payment plan as determined by the lender.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I’ve been laid off work since March 26th and they stopped the weekly payments for a month but started it back and I’m still unemployed. Now I don’t have the means to feed my kids much less pay my bills! I never missed a payment!

Due to a financial emegency, I took a loan out from Radiant Cash in the amount of $600 on 7/3/19. I had seven monthly ACH withdrawals in the amount of $166.59 each taken out of my bank account, totaling $1,166.13. This is a predatory loan company which should not be in business. I had already paid back almost double the principal amount due to their ridiculous interest rate. I reached out to the company on 1/20/20 informing them that they are not licensed in my state and that I had revoked my ACH authorization and asked that my loan be considered paid in full. I have not heard back from Radiant Cash and would like confirmation that my account has been marked paid in full as I have more than paid off my loan.

I have had the same experience and I feel this place is a scam and should be shut down. I was doing this for personal reasons and was asked to verify to many times and I didnt feel right so changed all my passwords and such to make sure nothing happened with my account and noticing all the complaints the same thing happening so yeah glad I started reading thank you all for sharing I hope this company or whatever is found and shut down permanently

This is just a complaint of concerns of the loan ID RC- I-*** I was informed that within 5 business day I would be required to make the first payment on the loan which I wasn't even sure that I had approved due to the business website give me an error message. I raised a concern about to the CSR when I called the next business day of operations for the company. When I first applied for a possible loan with this company, I had to called to verify banking information. I did finally called to provide this information and possible update the application date as it was 4 days after original inquiry. The CSR stated he would update that information and proceed to send me an email to try and verify bank information. That link fail and thus me having to send documentation to the underwriting team, which I was happy to do. I also noticed that information given on December 7, 2019 to the customer service representative (CSR) was incorrect on the loan. I also noticed that the loan had my maiden name and not the name of the agreement. After I received the email from your underwriting department that all was a approved and account had been verify I was to go back and login and sign documentation and review agreement, I went and logged back into my account and tried to review the documents, which would show in the mobile device, I was given an error message that my loan could not be processed until I called to verify my bank information. This lead me to make sure I contact your organization first thing the next business morning.

At any rate, I received an email stating my loan was approved and my payment dates were as outline and Sunday December 08, 2019. This raised a real concerned for me as I had received an message from the website stating that I need to still verify banking information. Due to the company not being open on this day I called and spoke to your CSR (December 9, 2019 at 9:51 EST) to address my surprise and concern that I was going to be make a first payment of $101.68 before a full 5 business days after disbursement and he noticed that it was odd that my payment date was soon on after the funds were going to disbursed and he sent a request to your underwriting team expressing my concerns and tried to correct the information because several things were incorrect on the application. (such as application date of December 3, 2019)

Your underwriting team refused the correct the information stating it is correct and it the payment schedule wasn't going to be corrected. I was a little taken a back at this and asked that the disbursement be cancelled and a new application be submitted, if the underwriting team wanted to go with the application date ( December 03, 2019) and not the approval date (Approval date December 07, 2019). When I requested that the disbursement be cancelled or withdrawn and it was explained to me that this was not an option and it would take 3 to 5 business days for them to debit my account. I spoke with a "Supervisor" and he was not helpful (to say the least) as well, which in turn I tried to call (1-855-588-8100) number which they have listed on their website to place my compliant and it was a number to a doctor office, thus leaving me not other choice but to email all this information to them, the first email address came back as undeliverable and thus me sending it to just a support email address

In the end of all, I truly understand that this company have some questionable practices and explained to the Supervisor that I would called in 3 days with my debit card information to have the funds removed from my account due to my not wanting your organization having any future access to my checking account. I truly understand you are in the market to make a profit, but this is truly a criminal act. I consider this a lesson truly learned and will stir clear of your company in the future..
Also the signed loan agreement has my maiden name as signature which I thought was addressed and corrected with the CSR on December 07, 2019 phone call. But the attached loan agreement doesn't reflect that information. Also the pay schedule is incorrect.

Customer set her pay frequency in the applicationmaking her first payment due on her next pay date. Customer received the contract via email and wasasked to review the contract before signing. Customer signed the contract which stated the exact payschedule and amounts. Underwriting approved the E-Sign and sent the account for next business dayfunding. I hope they do not try and send money or scam me saying I have received and ask for payments in future or I will be making a new complaint. No one should use this company using false promises and false emails and numbers. They want your info and use it for their own personal use. I want them shut down and other scammers also. I have been scammed by many businesses before. I am sick of this happening

The Company received a loan application in the complainant’s name but cancelled the loanapplication and it did not issue a loan as a result of the application. The customer has been removedfrom all communication list.

I have taken out two loans with this company not knowing their interest rates violate state and federal laws. To date, I have paid them over $2,600 which is nearly double the amount borrowed. My mother was recently diagnosed with cancer and has put me in a financial bind. The company has refused to work with me on resolving my account given the amount I have paid to them. Instead, they threaten collections. No one should attempt to do business with them. Their name is all in the news for several lawsuits. They operate a scam and are unwilling to work with customers and settle their accounts given payment histories. Stay away from these frauds!

I recently took out a extremely small loan with Radiant Cash for $300 because I am single mom of three and had just started a new job but wasn’t getting paid until another 3 weeks so I had enough money to pay all the bills and rent yet nothing left to feed my kids so I needed a small loan to buy some food. I was very appreciative when Radiant Cash offered me $400 then out of nowhere switched it to $300, that was my first red flag since they said I was approved for $400 and then sent me another loan agreement for instead $300. What ever , I just started to build my credit 6 months ago so I understand the small amount but anyway my issue is my loan agreement that I agreed too. My loan agreement states that I will pay WEEKLY payments of $38. Well my new job pays bi Weekly so I emailed them asking if they could instead take my $38 out every two weeks on my pay day instead of weekly and if I could just extend my loan PAYOFF. They emailed me back and said that my boss just had to send proof that I get paid bi weekly and that after that they would review it and get back to me. No where did they say that in order to be considered for bi weekly payments that my payment would double. Never was I asked if this was an issue , never did I give consent or AGREE to this change in my loan agreement since it completely defeated the purpose of me reaching out to them in the first place and my original email I sent them explains that. So they emailed me back and said they were changing my payment schedule without me agreeing to it and doubling my payment and that I can NOT go back to my original payment schedule /amount. This was nowhere stated in my loan agreement that if my job paid me bi Weekly that they would change my loan agreement without consent . I signed an agreement and that should be what I am honored unless I give permission otherwise . How can they do that to a customer who’s obviously on hard times and they are coming to you for help so they can ensure they PAY YOU and you lead them into thinking all is fine and you Throw them in a deeper hole ?? I explained to them that I could not afford to pay that large sum in one payment and I never agreed to that and I want my loan agreement to STAY THE SAME. They didn’t care and told me no. I could never do this to someone down on their luck .. but my question is , how is that legal ?? How can you change loan agreements for the reason you claim when none of that is noted in my agreement? So I revoke payment from my checking account As well until this issue is resolved. And I hope in the future you guys take into consideration that when someone takes a small loan out with a 600% interest rate, that they must be ON HARD TIMES so don’t make it harder on them and not care . That’s completely inhuman . I have my loan agreement and I expect it to stay the same , unless I’m signing a new one .. and you guys aren’t not authorized to change anything with my payment unless I agree. Thanks

After carefully reviewing my loan terms and the interest rates I goggled online to come to find out that payday loans are illegal in the state of *** which is where I reside. I have taken out a loan for $550 which is going to cost me 670% interest rate! ILLEGAL in ***. They are requesting I pay 13 biweekly payments of $140.88 and 1 payment of 140.98 which will total out a cost of $1972.42 which is almost 4 times the amount borrowed. I can’t afford this.... they want to take almost $300 monthly from me. I have been trying to get in contact with someone to work out something to pay the balance of what I owe and to drop all fees and interests. I do not wish to be a customer of this company as they will drain my bank account illegally. I revoke all ACH debits from this company until settlement is reached.

I received an email indicating I applied for a loan and I didn't. I called to report and they would only help if I provided all of my personal information. No, I refused. I want my name and emailed blocked on their system so that some can not obtain a loan in my name.
On their site the advertise fraud protection but clearly that is a sham.

I took out a short term loan that was to be paid back in 6 days. I was told that this type of loan was legal in NJ. Which in fact it was not. NJ has criminal usury laws capped at 30% interest. When we setup a payment on the principal of 600 dollars 6 days after initially getting the loan, they payment was never processed. Our complaints went unanswered. left on hold for long periods of time only to be told no one could help. I contacted the NJ Department of Banking and insurance and they explained that these payday loans or tribal loans are illegal in NJ. They are not licensed to lend here, regardless of the their tribal immunity. The interest rates were over 600%.

I previously had a loan with radiant cash and ended up paying over $1000 for a $400 loan. I ended up needing another loan in desperate times and have come across information that since they aren’t licensed in Illinois it’s technically illegal what they are doing and at these costs I have to agree. Between the two loans totaling $800, they have received $near $1100 from me. I emailed to revoke the ACH and explain that I have more then paid back the two loans combined and would like a refund for the over payment of interest. I received an email back stating that they applied the ach revocation but I am still responsible to continue paying the principal and interest payments. I recently closed my bank account and feel I shouldn’t be responsible since I have more then paid back the principal amount between both.

If I could rate it negative 1000, I would. This place is rediculous. My husband applied for a loan, which he was approved and in doing so, it's ruining our lives. We got the loan in December and since then have paid nearly triple what we have borrowed. TRIPLE. The interest on this is rediculous. It should be paid off soon, but this place needs to be shut down. Paying 2000$ for a 550$ loan is criminal.

I had took out alone with Radiant Cash for the amount of 750.00 I have paid back that amount already pulse an additional $1148.13. I have the bank Statement to prove this, also they automatic with drew it from my acct. I called customer service and they told me I still owe $500.00. I ask how this was possible all they said because I took out alone in amount of of $750.00 I said I understand this and I have paid if back she said I can see you paid the $750.00 off but you still owe $500.00 I said $500.00 are you kidding me I ready paid $750.00 pulse another $1148.13 she said yes ma I understand I can see you paid that but we still need $500.00 I said for what she couldn't explain. So I called back and this time I talked to a man and try explain what had happen and he said yes ma you still owe $500 I ask him the same question how do I owe $500.00 he said yes ma I understand you don't understand but i'm telling you that you owe $500.00 (NO NO NO) this is so wrong I cant afford another $500.00 or do I feel I should have to pay this they already took $1848.13 from me. As it is I can barley make ends meet!!

NO STAR FROM ME HOWEVER I HAD TO GIVE IT ONE TO MAKE A POST ON HERE!!
This should not be legal and the governments should not allowed this too happened in the United States. Nobody should have to pay back a loan 3X more than what the loan was worth. Life happens and many people fall on hard times and sometimes taking out a loan is the only way to help with the situation you are in. However that does not give the lenders the right to take advantage of you. This is so unconstitutional in any state

This company has been withdrawing money each week from my bank account for the last 11 weeks! I never received a contract or any documents to sign from this company. I in fact had to tell several representatives that were calling my phone every hour to ask me if I was ready to sign my approval documents to stop calling or I would have to file for harassment. They have taken about $550 so far!

I took out a payday loan with Radiant Cash on 12/16/18 in the amount of $350.00. I spoke to a representative once over the phone to see if I was approved. Once I was approved I was told I would receive a contract in the mail or via email about how much I would be paying monthly and how much I would owe back total. I never received a contract!! These people have been taking money out of my account without any contract being negotiated. They took out $87.59 on 12/28/18, $87.59 on 1/11/19, $87.59 on 1/25/19 and $87.59 on 2/8/19. Which equals out to be $350.36. These people are scammers!!! I would never recommend anyone to take a loan out with them! When I initially spoke to the rep when I got approved for my loan on the phone they said I would have to pay back $3,000 dollars off of a $350.00 loan. I try calling there all the time to speak to a representative and & discuss my contract since I have no idea what's going on. I have paid these people back $350.00. I paid back my loan! I'm not paying these scammers anymore money that they don't deserve. They are rip offs! How are you going to charge someone $3,000 for a $350.00 dollar loan. These people need to be shut down. They don't communicate. They don't pick up their phones. I am a very dissatisfied customer and I will do whatever it takes for everyone to know about these scammers. I paid back my loan and I want my loan closed with these people. Point blank.

My complaint is with the payday loan company Radiant cash. The reason for my complaint is that I borrowed a 500.00 payday loan and am now expected to pay back 1077.61 back to the company. This is more than double what I borrowed & absolutely sickening. I don’t understand how this company can take advantage of its customers this way especially when they must be experiencing hardship to get a loan in the first place and expect them to pay back over double what they borrowed. This company should be out of business. I would like to be able to pay back what I borrowed or slightly above not double what I borrowed. That’s just not right to expect someone in financial hardship to be able to do that and they won’t offer a settlement amount.
