The $5,was paid to the dealership and applied as a down payment on the vehicleThe $10,you paid to Thrift was applied as a principle reduction paymentThe balance went from the original amount financed, $15,323.65, down to $5,after the $10,was applied and only $was applied
to the loan as interestYour present payoff as of today 10/01/2015, with interest, is at $5,We can reverse this principle reduction and have it reapplied to cover you for the certain amount of months the $10,would have covered if posted as such, or we can refinance the account at the same interest rate so the payment book will show an appropriate balance and number of paymentsEven though the interest rate isn't changing, the fact that you paid the $10,as soon as you did lowered the amount of interest paid throughout the course of the loan significantly already as you can see with a mere $being taken out of the $10,payment

Please refinance the account at the same interest rate so the payment book will show an appropriate balance and number of payments. In addition the loan should have been in my sons name, Joshua *** with me as a cosigner not primaryPlease send me information on amount due since his first payment is today

Our company has reached out to this consumer, and we have come to a mutual understandingArrangements have been made, and it is to our understanding that this complaint has been rectified accordingly

I am rejecting this response because: the only contact that was made
to my by this company since filing the complaint was a rude phone calling telling me that I was notified that my car was up for repossession on 11/30/2016, which was never a point that I argued. They clearly did not read my complaint nor did they take it serious. It wasn't until I told them I read up on my state laws and it says they are required to send me, in writing, that the car was repossessed and the amount owed and who I needed to pay. I received a generic email which I do not trust. I want it via mail as a legal document not a generic email that they can say it wasn't them sending it. I have researched this company and this is common practice for them...I do not expect any good outcome with this company. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:I was never contacted or notified by Thrift Investment of the sale of the car, how much it was sold for, or any balance left on the accountThe only time I spoke to Thrift after the repossession is when I called them to ask why they took the car despite accepting a verbal agreement over the phone to make a payment after the due dateAs I said they agreed to accept payment at a later date allowing me to believe everything was settled when they knew they intended to take the carThe only thing I was told was in order to get the car back I had to pay the entire balance left on the car which was approximately $8,000-$9,That was the last contact I had with ThriftAs further proof they did notify me of any balance on the account is my credit report where for the last almost years they reported me owing a dollar balanceIt was only after I disputed the charge did they send any information to the credit bureau now claiming I owe over $3,Paperwork that I have never even seen and have no knowledge ofIf so than as I said I show me proof of the balance and original documents that outline the transactionsOtherwise remove the item from my credit report.

The check was mailed on 7/7/2016, if a stop payment is not issued
someone else can cash the checkI do not have the check and its doesn't make sense that they will let an open check out there for someone to cash that is not meI DO NOT HAVE the check, they should not be allowed to keep a live active check on their booksI have told them at least times I have not received it

To begin, I'd like to make clear I verbally discussed the abusive, harassing and threatening language coming from MsC***'s unnamed male counterpart who continuously calls my office making personal attacks against me with MsB*** at xt with the Revdex.comMy employees have expressed concern for my
safety over the nature of these callsI am formally requesting going forward any correspondence between Thrift Investment and MsC*** are in written form only, preferably through the credit bureausIf a third party individual is involved again I will be compelled to press harassment chargesThrift Investment has maintained our position that this complaint is against the dealership MsC*** purchased the vehicle fromWe are confident in our success in satisfying her original requestMsC*** is now bringing demands that are unacceptable as Thrift Investment no longer wishes to do business with MsC*** and her accomplicesI never would use any such epithet as what she is claiming I have said to her in the complaint you have forwarded to meI have never engaged in any argument with MsC*** to this date and am skeptical if she is even the one writing these complaintsPlease advise her to bring her concerns to Experian and Equifax and take the necessary avenues those parties offer to rectify this situationPhone calls and/or visits to our office are now prohibited

I am rejecting this response because: I called repeatedly before the account wad past due and the insurance was cancelled after the truck stopped runningThe fees and dues were paid to get the truck back and stopped running immediately after.

Attached are the documents that were mailed certified to this customer to the address that we have on fileIn the mail today we received a signed certified slip by this customer, which ensures that these documents were delivered successfullyOur company has done everything we can to provide this customer with all of the information she has requested in a timely manner

Our company reached out to this customer to let them know that we had never received the pay off from the dealership that they traded the car into, and that it would be effecting their credit if the payment was not received in a timely matterThe multiple calls were due to the customer hanging up
on our representatives various timesWe recently received the pay off from the dealer, and this account has now been satisfiedIf this customer has any further questions they can contact our office during regular business hours

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The people at this company were extremely disrespectful to both me and my wife while we were trying to sort out their mistakeWe've been customers of theirs for over three years and we deserved better than being spoken to as if we were childrenWhen we got our vehicle back, we noticed that there was a bit of damageThis will likely be the last time we will deal with this companyWhen we first spoke to the company, they were unwilling to listen to us and unable to work anything outIt was only after a relative paid the past balance (this is where their mistake occurredIt should have simply been rolled to the back of the loan) that anyone was willing to rescind the repossession feesUntil the company realized that we had filed a complaint through the Revdex.com they were rude and refused to listenIt was when they learned about the complain that they became suddenly more willing to be "helpful"

There is no forty day policy at Thrift Investment as you simply defaulted in your Retail Installment Contract you signed upon financing the carNo one said anything about days, all they said was we couldn't wait until the middle of August for a paymentTherefore, the repossession was not
incorrect
