Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,
*** ***

We have listened to the recording when you orderedYou heard our offer for magazines after you ordered the "Life Alert" medical response system. You heard our complete offer and acceptedWe are happy to play this recording to youWe also mailed you a confirmation notice and it was not returned to
us as undeliverable (we use First Class US Mail to ensure return delivery to us)

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I was told to claim the gift card within days, which I did soThe company failed to send me a single thing for a "free day trial"I received no magazines & no gift card within the days therefore this is a breach of contract because the language on the flyer CLEARLY STATES "Receive a $gift card just for trying service for days." However I tried the service - for which I received NOT ONE SINGLE THINGIt would be inappropriate for this company to advertise services which they did not provide, & then try to bill me for said service
Sincerely,
*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: I have never purchased *** online nor have I purchased any *** since when I was pregnant with my sonPlease provide receipt for *** purchase as well as the shipping conformation for the items you state I purchasedI did not want reed anything from you at any time.

This customer definitely accepted the offer but, as a courtesy, he has been fully refunded

For some reason, we had an issue with refunding all of the charges to that cardInstead, we have mailed a check for the remaining $39.90.Thank you

Although there was a slight language barrier between the rep and the customer, the rep did read our offer properly and *** *** responded appropriatelyWe believe that the average listener would agree that the sales rep (which is not our employee) followed directions. However, we have
full refunded *** *** fully because we think he did not fully understand when the rep told him he would be billed $in days, despite the fact that it was mentioned twiceThank you

We believe Ms***' mother did agree to our offerHowever, we certainly are saddened to hear of these circumstances and will reach out to Ms*** to offer a refund
Thank you

We actually state our toll free cancellation phone number during our offer at least twice. However, we have refunded this customer her single charge of $19.95.Thank  you.

7 weeks ago I accepted an offer by this advertising business to receive magazines on a trial basis. They told me I would pay $1.50 handling fee and I would receive a [redacted] gift card as a promotional gift. I accepted. On my 30th day, I called to make the required cancellation request. They thanked...

me and I asked when my gift card was going to be mailed. They said I need to email a form. I told them I will email the form right away which I did. Four days later I reviewed my bank account online and discovered they billed my debit card of $19.95 that is the amount to be billed if I continue after 30 days. I called them to let them know they had no right to bill me. They said I will be getting credited to my debit card. I did not get credited. They say I was past the free 30 day trial. I said, why did the first representative acknowledge the error? I deserve at the very least to honor the $50 gift card and I wont be upset that $19.95 was charged to me. I feel its the right way to settle.

We will email [redacted] to arrange a time to play the recording of the [redacted] purchase and the magazine service offer that follows.Thank You

There are a few inaccuracies in the complaint that we would like to address: - The total amount billed has been $199.50, not $240 or $267. - We do not ever call consumers. Instead, [redacted] received a postcard in a mail order package with an offer to call. She initiated the call...

and cheerfully accepted the offer. (we are happy to review the call with [redacted] or anyone in her family. She started by telling the representative she already receives magazines at home and didn’t want anymore. She was told that the gift card offer only comes with a magazine trial. She chose the magazines she wanted ([redacted]) and she got a pen and wrote them down. The rep read our toll free customer service number, if she wanted to cancel during the trial, and [redacted] copied down the number carefully.  Tendered her Discover card for the $1.95 processing fee. (this is how we received her billing information.) She was asked and have her daytime phone number. She was told there might be a call to her home to confirm the order. She was told about the confirmation postcard that we send via First Class US Mail with order details (hers was not returned to us as undeliverable. She was also advised that she would receive two more magazines with her first paid month. The toll free number was repeated by the representative and [redacted] could be heard copying it down. As such, we believe [redacted] fully knew what she was agreeing to. We are happy to review further. Thank you.

We are in touch via email with this customer and will provide proof of order through that channel. Thank you.

We did not receive the first Revdex.com notice, however we are retrieving the original order recording and the corporate office will review the customer service recordings of the interactions with this customer to determine of any corrective actions should be taken. We will contact the customer to review....

Thank you.

This offer was made to [redacted] after she ordered the [redacted]. We have a recording confirming her acceptance of the offer and are quite happy to review it with [redacted]. The order was made in the name of [redacted]. Full billing details were provided specifically for our service, which...

does include magazines. The service was cancelled on 4/25/17 but charges ended many months before that. Thank you.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the response is misleading, it states I was "fully refunded" when I was only refunded $19.95, for a service I never used and was never...

provided any information. I was billed for 3 months - to be fully refunded I should have received $59.85 back. I am still due $39.90.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

On 6/15/17 [redacted] ordered [redacted] by phone and was offered our Magazine Rewards Plus service after her [redacted] transaction. We have reviewed the recording and [redacted] agreed to the terms of the offer. In addition, we mailed a welcome letter within a few days of that...

order to confirm the order and that notification had contact information for customer service by web, phone and email. We did not hear form [redacted] until 10/24/17 (cancel confirmation # [redacted]). We fulfilled, as explained during the offer, magazine subscriptions to [redacted], and [redacted].Thank You

Review: They charged me for magazine subscriptions that I never ordered. They did offer them to me, but I told them that I would not like to receive them.

Radius Holdings, LLC called me one day offering a free trial for magazine subscriptions. I liked the sound of that, so I gave them my credit card information. However, once they told me how much it was going to cost me after the trial ended I told them that I would no longer like to receive the magazines. I told them that I would not be able to afford the subscriptions. They kept trying to get me to still take the deal, but after 15 minutes I told them I had enough of this. I told them politely that their offer is nice and all, but right now I would not like to receive the magazine subscription trial and that I may try it at a later date. A couple weeks later I started receiving a ton a magazines I never ordered. They did not show up on my banking statements right a way, so I was not all worried. Then two months later, starting in January, I began being charged $19.99 for Men's Health, then Esquire in March, and Rolling Stones in April. I never ordered these magazines so I am get frustrated over the charges. I tried to cancel the subscriptions to the magazines, but they said I have to do it through the third party company I apparently bought it from, but doesn't give me a number to call.Desired Settlement: I am seeking to get a refund for the magazine subscriptions of Rolling Stones, Esquire, Men's Health, and any other magazine that they are charging to my debit card without my permission.

Mr. [redacted] indeed accepted our offer after a purchase he made by phone for the Super Million Dollar Hair product. however, as a courtesy, we have refunded him fully.

Review: Back on August 29, 2014 I opened my online bank account(credit union) and had noticed a withdrawal of (19.95) by a ** magazine which I had never heard of, so I contacted my credit union and was informed that somehow they(** magazine) had received my account number and requested the money and that I needed to contact them and find out how they received my information and what it was about. So I did(9-8-14) so and the woman([redacted]) that I spoke with explained that at one point when I had made another purchase that their company(** magazine) had piggy backed an order with it and that I had so many days to refuse the order(which I knew nothing about)and she also said that information was sent out to me, which I never received. I then asked her how can I get out of this so called order(that I never asked for)and get my money back, she explained that she could cancel my order and put me into their refund process and that if I wasn't refunded in 10 days to call back and I would be taken care of, so after 10 days(never receiving a refund or hearing from them)I called back(9-19-14) and talk to a woman([redacted]) and she explains that she can see where I had closed my account(which I had never asked for)and their company hadn't agreed to refund my money and that she would put in another refund request and if I don't receive it to call back in 10 days if I don't receive it. Well now on (10-2-14)I have called back and talked to a ([redacted])and was told I wasn't receiving a refund, that the company has decided I did didn't deserve a refund of my money that they took without my permission to begin with. In the long run with dealing with this situation, I have come to the conclusion that this company has been giving me a run around and has taken my money without my permission and that I have never heard of them tell the had did so(taken my money)and would have never heard of them if they wouldn't have did so. I would like to get my money back and some sort of compensation for my time and effort in trying to retrieve it.

Thank you, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to get my money back and some sort of compensation for my time and effort in trying to retrieve it and I would like to see some sort of Revdex.com action to make others a where of a company that has this sort of practice of taking money without permission.

Response:

This customer actually did agree to our offer directly after ordering a skin care product on July 30, 2014. The charge was for our magazine service.
